I watched suspiria and found the whole movie mesmerizing. All the colors and dramatic lighting made the night look horrifying.
I just saw Deep Red & it's hard to believe the score slaps so hard, I mean Halloween is a classic but when Profundo Rosso is a legendary track
Watched that film a few years ago and the tune still hasn't left my head
Carrie is the first commercially successful horror film that was from a teen perspective. So many others followed.
Black Christmas is completely underrated in mainstream cultural knowledge. It's actually better and scarier than Halloween if you ask me. I'm sad I never knew about it until a couple of years ago.
suspiria is a must watch, such a great film👍
Loving this!!! The 70s was a great decade for new , fresh , creative horror! Keep it going. “Long Live Horror!”. “Watch Horror Films …Keep America 🇺🇸 Strong…!”.
Great video as always!
Texas chainsaw Massacre is the best 70s horror film, to me at least
Is good but also too all over the place
@@kaboart how’s it all over the place?
The young adults are going to Texas because they heard about a grave being dug up
They stop at a gas station
Then they get directions to the cemetery
They end up picking up a hitchhiker
He’s crazy
Then from there they go to an abandoned house and go look for help(Idk why) actually
I’ve seen the movie 5x, I even own it but I don’t remember why they go looking for help and then find the Sawyer house
One guy gets killed by a hammer
How’s this hard to follow?
@@kaboart amen, I appreciate what it did but it got overshadowed quick
@@southern_cinephile3412 They didn't leave the abandon house to look for help, two members of the group asked Franklin about him mentioning something about a pool. So for fun of it, the two searched for it. However, they got attracted to the Sawyer's house due to the fact they heard an engine which meant gas. From there, well, you already know the rest.
Dawn of the Dead, Suspiria, Halloween, Invasion of the Body Snacthers and Black Christmas are my favourite horror movies from the 1970s.
Yes!!!
Suspiria is the og
Halloween baby 🤗🤗
can i ask if the Last Night in Soho falls into Jalo genre?
Suspiria was originally written with 10 year old girls in mind and when it was nearly time to start making the movie it was pointed out to the director that there was just no way given the death scenes that they could use actual children. They just cast older females and left the dialogue pretty much as it was. That’s why the locker room scene “‘S’ is for snakes!” etc. makes no sense and may be why some of the acting seems weak or off. Kid dialogue coming out of adult mouths draws a lot of wtf is going on attention from a viewer. I’m sure someday someone will remake it with kids, Japanese kids most likely. A Miike or Sono type comes to mind. Thanks for making videos!
I'd argue it added as much to the uncanny effect they were going for as it did unintended laughs
Gotta love 70s horror! Maybe for part 2 you can make a short very graphic recount of the movies mentioned in both parts, to summarize
I have subscirbed to your channel and still have not gotten notifications about your videos in months now.
What movie is it with the masked killer @3:08 ?
Can i help me! I want find a horror movie i watched in 1984, but i can’t remember name. A family moves into a new home or castle, couple have two kid, one boy and one girl. I remember two children walking in bridge and fall one coin and one scary hand (or devil hand) under bridge want pull them down. That's all I can remember.
The thing about knives which creeps me is stabbing is it an up close and personal crime. Unlike guns, which are indiscriminate in who it kills, as stabbing is much more deliberate. Also shooting a gun is a passive act, where stabbing is an active act.
I never subbed to this channel, the heck are you doing in my sub feed XD
Well, let's see what chu got!
yeah, time to unsubscribe. These video's get lower and lower in quality with longer ads
