  • I gotta try and make these videos shorter.
    Kinda long term review of the razer orochi v2. I hope you guys find the review helpful in some way when deciding about the mouse.
    As of the time of me uploading this video, 8/3/22, the razer orochi v2 is $40, $34 renewed.
    The next mouse I am going to be reviewing is the Logitech G Pro X Superlight.
    Should I do long term reviews of mousepads too?

    Dude, I have been using this mouse since a year now and never had i ever faced any sort of issues besides the dpi deviation. I main this and the viper v2 pro. Just a short note this (mouse on 1600dpi is more like 1700dpi on Viper v2 pro or GPX)

      It may just be the sensor placement being higher, making it track faster on wrist movements

    • @killerindustries49
      @killerindustries49 Год назад

      The Sensor on the v2 pro is really top notch in comparison to the Orochi. By no means is the Orochi sensor bad but yea I can feel a difference between the two sensors. I main the v2 viper & use the Orochi v2 for my laptop. Considering the DPI deviation should I bring the Orochi to 1500dpi to match the 1600 on the viper?

      @@Laylacantaim nah , this dpi deviation , im testing on my mousepad, 800 dpi like 900-1000 dpi. so we just adjust dpi, and already good god tier mouse like viper or gpx

    yea I picked up the OrochiV2 black Striker from BestBuy for $28 over the summer. An issue I ran into, don't know if you experienced it, is that the scrollwheel will intermittently scroll in the opposite direction of what I'm scrolling. eg. when I scroll down, it will randomly registered it as an upscroll every so often.
    It's an incredibly annoying problem, still looking for a solution to it. Prefer not to RMA it but I don't have a Torx screwdriver handy to disassemble the body either.

      more than likely you ended up with a bad apple and the encoder is failing. sadly it happened to my pulsar x2 mini that I got recently and had to rma it.

      @@tcc1234 In case anyone is wondering, to disassemble you need a Torx T6 bit. Can pickup any precision screwdriver set from amazon it should have it. Thankfully it does not use a security hole, aka. the driver bit does not need to have a hole in the middle.

    This mouse destroyed my wrist. I purchased it about a month ago and it started hurting wrist and I kept using it thinking it’ll pass since I’m just getting used to it and now my wrist has been hurting even after using the mouse. That shape is just not for me

      I used a g603 for years, really heavy mouse and now i have light carpal tunnel, so I changed to the orochi and my wrist is grateful, almost half the weight but also helps that my hand is small, maybe for bigger hands it must be quite uncorfortable depending on your grip. Using wristbands and also moving all your arm and not only your wrist helps reducing the pain and disconfort in any mouse

      @@alejandrorisco4201 Everybody should have couple of different shape mice in rotation. Only way to bridge carpal... I change mice weekly now (Roccat, Logi, Razer...)and no wrist pain.
