    Wow ist das toll! Schön diese historischen Fahrzeuge mal in Aktion zu sehen. Ich finde die Schwimmwagen von der Optik so ansprechend :D Stell dir mal vor, auf der Straße steht plötzlich so einer neben dir. Na gut, kaum einer wird so ein Stück auf der Straße der Gefahr ausliefern, aber atemberaubend ist diese Vorstellung schon. Die ganzen Zugkraftwagen haben damals je nach Gewicht und Motor die ganzen schweren Geschütze von Feldhaubitzen bis hin zu PaKs und FlaKs wie die FlaK 16 gezogen. Einfach schön, diese Fahrzeuge in altem Glanz zu sehen.

      I used a microphone to filter the vehicle sounds otherwise you would heard too many people and music on the background (it is too busy there and I tried to take the most quiet place to film)

      Well protected?? Is that is a joke? Hetzer have 20mm on sides and !8! on back! This is the worst example of "well" protected tank. In Poland war museum in Warsaw you can see a side hit Hetzer. Godbye my crew.

    • @flyingbusa3407
      @flyingbusa3407 3 года назад +1

      @@altair3232 Simple, you don't face the side and rear toward the enemy.
      You might be wondering, AT rifle can definitely penetrate it, especially the Soviet 14.5mm ones. Guess what? Panther have the same issues, and it has a 40mm side armor. 20mm is *just* enough to protect you from 50. Cals from longer ranges, not an AT weapon.
      Oh and... The fact that it's 1/3rd the weight of Panther makes the protection extremely nice for its weight, yeah?

    Since I was young I have had a great interest in Germany WW II tanks, trucks, cars and trains, I have a Marklin HO layout and made to be someplace? In Germany 1943 - 44. Using ROCO, Roskopf, Herpa and Lilliput.
    I have been to Moscow a few times and have gotten to their Great Patriot War museum in Moscow and one time Kubinka, also one trip to St Petersburg, were I went to the artillery museums and defense museum that is more in the marking of, yet, I need to get to the Tank museums in Germany and France as well as England sometime. [Nephew of Ida] About the King Tiger: Imagine, you are a little front soldier enemy and such a Monster drives in your direction!! This tank is impressive till today. OMG! On the other side I hear ever again a fact: For the production of 1 King Tiger you could produce 9 smaller tanks. And the King Tiger was not the best Tank of WWII. The best Tank was the Panther. But the allies bombed the manufactures. And in the end the Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS had no Gas anymore. German Tanks were drove with Gas [Benzin], Russian T34 with Diesel.

      The Panther broke down frequently with final drive failures. The situation was horrendously bad. I don't know that could be categorized as, "The best tank". The Panther's Fragile Final Frives -- "From the French report, titled "Le Panther 1947": "The truly weak spot of the Panther is its final drive, which is of too weak a design and has an average fatigue life of only 150 km." -- forums.armchairgeneral.com/forum/historical-events-eras/world-war-ii/armor-in-world-war-ii/5093054-the-panther-s-fragile-final-drives

Helmets, boots, and practically everything else are being made and the same goes for Allied armies, too. www.atthefront.com is a good starting point with uniform packages available.
