Ich finde die Schwimmwagen von der Optik so ansprechend :D Stell dir mal vor, auf der Straße steht plötzlich so einer neben dir. Na gut, kaum einer wird so ein Stück auf der Straße der Gefahr ausliefern, aber atemberaubend ist diese Vorstellung schon. Die ganzen Zugkraftwagen haben damals je nach Gewicht und Motor die ganzen schweren Geschütze von Feldhaubitzen bis hin zu PaKs und FlaKs wie die FlaK 16 gezogen. Einfach schön, diese Fahrzeuge in altem Glanz zu sehen.

Argunners Magazine nah he mean those engines didnt produce loud sound like some old engines in lorries especially in british one. The british one were very loud,my mother said they can hear it from 1km-500m before it come.

Well protected?? Is that is a joke? Hetzer have 20mm on sides and !8! on back! This is the worst example of "well" protected tank. In Poland war museum in Warsaw you can see a side hit Hetzer. Godbye my crew.

Panther have the same issues, and it has a 40mm side armor. 20mm is *just* enough to protect you from 50. Cals from longer ranges, not an AT weapon. Oh and... The fact that it's 1/3rd the weight of Panther makes the protection extremely nice for its weight, yeah?

Using ROCO, Roskopf, Herpa and Lilliput. I have been to Moscow a few times and have gotten to their Great Patriot War museum in Moscow and one time Kubinka, also one trip to St Petersburg, were I went to the artillery museums and defense museum that is more in the marking of, yet, I need to get to the Tank museums in Germany and France as well as England sometime. My father is a US WWII vet and took some great photos as well as what he talks about being in WWII. GO ARMY
That Volkswagen at 3:00..it's is 4x4? I know Ferry Porsche built a couple of 4x4 prototypes that never went into production. Wonder if this could be one of this rare animals.

I agree! Reproduction WWII German uniforms are very much available and are not that expensive and would add a note of realism for events such as this. Helmets, boots, and practically everything else are being made and the same goes for Allied armies, too. www.atthefront.com is a good starting point with uniform packages available.

Imagine if someone turned up with a German 'Maus' tank! Even bigger than the King Tiger. I think the Germans only made 3 or 4 of them; problem was, the Maus could not cross quite a lot of bridges (just too heavy).
If Tiger II gives that feeling of "radicilusly heavy machine from which the earth shakes" then what feeling would give the Maus, i want to hear that powerfull engine, strugling to move that block of steel

Just 2, and only one is complete in the Treblinka Tank museum. Probably not gonna be driven anytime soon, unfortunately.

Tiger 1 had issues with crossing bridges in France, Maus would be completely useless for anyting other than as a static defense position.
