This is why preservation is so important. Each tank or vehicle has a story to tell and might’ve even played a part in history. People always asked me why I have a interest in history and war in general, this is why. We have the opportunity to learn from our previous mistakes that ultimately lead us to wars and even how we fought said wars. History is important. Reading this reminded me of that German grandpa who had a perfectly preserved operational Panther in his basement. Only for it to be damaged when the government decided to forcefully take it away and convict the grandpa when it was discovered.
I was in the grandstands on the Friday and gotta say, it was a great experience being there. The sight and sound of these things going around was fantastic. And that poor camera microphone can't do that 17pdr justice. You FELT that thing fire! Great footage man, hope you enjoyed yourself out there and didn't get too cooked!
Your Museum is the standard for the world. Love the tank chats ect... I hope our Army gets your Museum a M-1 Abrams soon. I think we can spare at least one. Maybe a one for one trade for a slightly used Challenger?

Awesome footage you got. I had the good fortune to attend tiger day this year. It just happened we were on vacation from Canada when tiger day was on. My son is a fanatic about tanks, so we had to take it in.
Hm did Saturday not include the reenactment/demonstration bit on the modern day section? Friday it was there. Little demonstration of the javelin and T-72 vs Chally 2. Still little sad the Nashorn couldn't make it.
