So I own the dehavilland pants from stone, awesome pant definitely pick a pair up, are these designed to fit OVER their other pants if you order the same size or if I own a large pant would I size up or go with another large if I want to shell these over a pair. Thanks

I really want to get a pair of the dehavilland pants one day. The last pair of kuiu attack pants I ordered are garbage. The quality has gone way down hill IMO.
From my understanding the the SG is supposed to work as a system. If you are a med on the size chart, then order med in everything and it will all fit layered over top of each other. I've got no issues fitting a tick pair of long John's and my attack pants under the med m5s.

I am the same height/weight as you and when I tried on the M5 pants found the athletic fit to restrict my movement too much. I tried medium and large and they both felt snug when I lifted my knee towards my chest. On late season hunts, I would potentially be wearing these over baselayers, regular pants, and puffies so it didn't seem like a great option for me. Maybe I need to give them one more try. They seemed like they were really high quality and I really wanted to like them.
Do you not have any restriction in the legs when you do a leg lift or a lunge?

I love the fit of all the SG gear I have. It fits like athletic clothing should. Kuiu has a looser fit if you are looking for more room. I just fond kuiu has inconsistencies with their sizes, and they seem sloppy to me.

Just the M5 pants which have been awesome so far. I'll be getting the m5 jacket at some point when my current rain jacket bites the dust.

How's duty cost coming across the border?

Hit or miss as always. Out of three orders that I should have paid duty, I've only been charged once.

@@shuswapoutdoors Pretty good odds so far...lol. I'm going to grab more stuff from them when I go to the SCI show in Nashville. Had a good look at most of the products at the DSC show in Dallas.

Oh nice! I was able to see some of SGs gear at Precision optics in Quesnel last fall. Still cheaper to buy it directly from SG. It would be nice to see the entire lineup to get sizes.

@@shuswapoutdoors I just put in an orders from P. Optics and Stone Glacier on the 8th and 9th, list prices were within $2-3 for items I was looking for (Expedition packs were cheaper in BC, Access bag $97 CAD in Bozeman vs $95 CAD in BC, Accessory pockets, swingouts, and camp pockets were all the exact same)
Lots of hardgoods in stock in BC, but all the softgoods have to come from the states right now. I believe they're expecting a restock up here around spring bear season.
