Micheal should start a channel where he is tasting all types of Nigerian dishes and other nationalities. He has that taste bud haha. Oh did you see the stare on his face when he first tried the egusi, it was like what on heaven is this, and why have I never had anything like this in my life haha
I am so proud of my Nigerian 🇳🇬 people We don’t carry last I like the way the white guy really eat the food 🥘 he was a real natural man 👨 with no proudness in him Viewing from china 🇨🇳🇳🇬
I'm nigerian and I grew u eating jollof rice with every stew my mom made. I can eat jollof on its own, but I prefer eating it with a soup or stew, especially if the rice is really dry. Good jollof can be eaten on its own though (plaintain is always welcome obviously 😁)
Michael made this episode more entertaining he enjoyed his food he respected the culture an had good conversation while cleaning the plates respect he need more episodes
I'm also a vegetarian, Rebecca. And it's like so hard in Nigeria to see vegetarian meals or people eating them. I'm glad to see this video. First vegetarian food video I'm watching.
So yeah, I tried it a few times you know..left over combinations from parties...but having the egusi with white rice....is a regular...I really love the way Micheal finished it..meanwhile...you sudda made pounded yam (not poundo) for the egusi
I actually jollof rice with efo and egusi and red stew, and grew up like that. I actually don’t really like jollof on its own. Mixing it with a stew or soup, takes it to another level. I did grow up in the states but I know a lot of Nigerians who do the same.
Nice video kossie, great reaction from your friends as well we really appreciate it. I think you should try to get their reaction on Ofada rice and stew and also fried plantain with Egg source. Thank you ❣️
Omg I loved this video ❤️❤️❤️ Warms my heart 😍 New subscriber alert 😃 I live in Dublin and Irish people are really sweet 💕💕 Thank you for repping us well ❤️
I don’t like jollof on it’s own. I eat with coleslaw or efo, egusi, fried stew etc But I’m known to mix everything anyways. Try spag and egusi (without the leaves and stew consistency) 👌🏽👌🏽
This was a nice video to watch, very very nice. Your guests are amazing. How ever we mix things up in Nigerian I've done jollof rice and egusi countless times. And so have many other people out here. It's really not rare it's just not served that way in restaurants except in custom orders

Omo. This Micheal guy is definitely Nigerian at heart. The way he moulded that thing and scooped the egos was convincingly 9ja Rebecca is just having a great time I love it Awesome people. Awesome content
We actually do eat rice and egusi I was a bit offended when she said she hasn't tried rice with egusi before So no, it's not weird We actually eat rice and egusi together But preferably boiled white rice
Word of advice if you are cooking for a Vegetarian or Vegan add fresh or frozen vegetables or salad or and chickpeas or butter or black beans. It is the reason she kept eating the egusi with the jellof rice she wanted the taste of vegetables. Oh, FYI not all whites don't like spicy, come and meet the ones here in London especially some of my friends. They like hot and spicy, I guess it's because we are a multi cultural city.
I’m not Nigerian but I’m obsessed with the food. I don’t really like swallow because it’s not a taste I’ve been used to but I have all the soups with white rice or jollof rice 😭😭😭 and it’s the best.
Thank you for having us on your channel!! The food was amazing and I’ve already made myself some plantain!!
It was a pleasure ☺️
Really??? That’s good😇
You go gurrlll😂🙌🏾
Hey Rebecca I am nigerian and i actually eat jollof rice and egusi sometimes. It goes great with just boiled rice also and plantains
I think you should give them white rice with the egusi soup or efo riro .That is a better combination
The guy is the type of son in-law Nigerian mothers like. I enjoyed watching him eat.

That guy has a future with Nigeria. See the way he’s moulding that poundo 🤣😂🤣

I'm also a vegetarian, Rebecca. And it's like so hard in Nigeria to see vegetarian meals or people eating them. I'm glad to see this video. First vegetarian food video I'm watching.

Oh wow, so Becca is not alone😁
same here lol. I was shocked when she said it's not common to eat with jollof, I grew up where we eat jolloff, efo, egusi or red stew with jollof.
Nice video kossie, great reaction from your friends as well we really appreciate it. I think you should try to get their reaction on Ofada rice and stew and also fried plantain with Egg source. Thank you ❣️
I’ll try that, thank you ☺️

One thing I’ve noticed about men in general.. no matter what age or race, men will finish fufu/swallow/pounded yam lol it’s truly a man’s meal
God forbid I don't eat any include egusi and lot more
I love seeing people enjoy food. The fufu is not mash potatoes, why not correct them. It’s yam.

Nice! What they should have tried should have been the egusi and plantain! Now that's what's up!
You eat egusi with plantain?
Funny enough, I was just eating Egusi with white rice, as I was watching this video and she just mentioned it, as if she knew I was doing so. Lol
Ahhhhh😁
