It's easy for sound from speakers to get lost outdoors, but the AW-650s deliver clear, spacious sound that really cuts through. The famous horn-loaded design Klipsch is known for really shines in this situation, delivering detailed sound to a wide listening area.

Somewhat agree with a comment below, you may need a subwoofer depending on your receiver. Be sure you adjust your Bass to get the full effect out of these speakers, they do sound good, but not quite as good as the Klipsch aw-500 SM speakers

Quite a bit bigger than I thought they'd be, which is good for audio, but not good for discretion. I want these for indoor atmos speakers due to their versatile mounting bracket and ease of aiming, but I think I'll consider smaller ones. It would have been nice to hear them on this review.

With the Klipsch AW-650, you are gaining and additional 2" of woofer size, 6.5" woofer, and a .75" in tweeter size, that will make a big difference in volume, in comparison to the 4.5" woofer and 3.75" tweeter in the Polk Audio Atrium 4. If you want to play surround sound audio, having a center channel speaker is crucial and you should get it!
As for leaving the receiver outdoors, even when then unit is in a location that won't get rained on, there are still concerns regarding the dust in the air and things like morning dew that could lead to issues. Not to mention possible heat thresholds. Due to these concerns, we only recommend leaving outdoor rated gear outside.

HDMI inputs on a receiver will allow you to keep the control a bit simpler and not need an additional remote. The Marantz NR1200 receiver is an excellent choice. These KW-650 speakers will improve the volume levels you can get with the amp you have it. Its sensitivity is higher by enough db's that we will be able hear an increase.
They cannot handle any more power, but there are other speakers that can handle more power and offer even bigger drivers to help push the sound further and sound a lot fuller to help cover bigger distances. it does need more power to do this so you could consider upgrading to the amp that gives 200 watts RMS x 2. The AW650 sounds good, noticeably better than the KHO-7, better bass and volume.
I don't think I could get a big enough amp to support the Definitive 6500 anyway.
I understand now that the Fosi Audio 200 or 300W x2 , had no Bluetooth and therefore not an option. The biggest Bluetooth amp they have is the BL20C which is 160Wx2
Do you think getting it will improve my sound even with the Klipsch? I do get distortion when on max volume, I think it should improve that, no?
