I don’t know if it’s possible to burn in subtitles using the RUclips preset. Best to just follow the tutorial if you want burned in subs and upload to RUclips after
Are you able to make the subtitles appear like the “write on” option in title>text/text+? I want letters to appear as if you read, not instantly having the whole sentence up. Thanks if you can figure it out for me! 🙏🏼😁
@@TheFilmmakersWorkshop thanks! I appreciate! I’ve just realized I wasn’t clear on my request. You know how under a subtitle there’s track style, under the background tab where - if you adjust the width and height, a box will appear? That’s what I want with the typewriter effect. Sorry! And thanks again! :)
If you have already edited your video and are just creating subtitles, then there is no need to render out your video. In this instance you are only using Resolve to create the subtitles.
@@TheFilmmakersWorkshop so you insert several images , articles or websites in between the video clip , so at that time later ,then that exported subtitles will be useful? Am I right?
@@blessyponnachen9528 sorry, I don’t understand your question. The video explains how to create subtitles and export them separate to the video, with the video too and as a burned in subtitle that is a part of the exported file and always on.
@@TheFilmmakersWorkshop Thanks for the reply. Just changed the name to match the video but I still have the same problem. I exported the subtitles from the edit page

Why are you exporting only the subtitles file to your device at first?
What is the purpose of that ?

Subtitles don't work when I use them outside resolve. Please help. The subtitles don't play in VLC
Ensure the video and the subtitles have the same name when opening them in VLC
