Well.. since SLi is basically dead now, there isn't much point to overdoing GPU configurations. it's almost exclusively better to go with one monolithic GPU than it is to get two lesser cards and try to tie them together with CrossFire or SLi. DX12 EMA seems a bit more promising for the future, though..
And besides, CPUs commonly bottleneck before the GPU.

I always hate when the rgb lights aren't synced, I think that's what put me off more than anything else.
Yeah, and when you're going for "most RGB'd out rig EVER" I feel like you should at LEAST sync it... that's why my rig is tied into iCue, so it's all in one program and can run in unison.

There's one little problem with this. It's not the editing or the RGB overkill (I love it) but the pipes... They are ugly AF, aren't parallel to each other, have kinks and aren't lined up with the edges of the hardware.

It's builds like this that make me want to be a part of this community. The hardware you guys get to work with is amazing. I have always been into computers but never been able to actually get a decent build together. Working on finding that exact 1080 to go with my 4790k in a z97s. Ram is only 1600 so that needs upgraded as well.

Saw it at Frys Elect looking to buy a TT Core V51 case over a month ago for another build. And looks like they are pushing to sell that and not having more of the Core series on the shelves. It looks cool but, I wouldn't buy it. I am content with my Core V71.

Dat FSM Jerry Rig University reference. Someone at LTT must be a Roadkill fan.
I was so inspired by these fittings, that I learned a lot about electronic engineering and made a RGB Digital to Analog converter, so I could control each fitting separately via software. The first gen fittings lacked SW control and all connected to the same manual controller.

People hated the anti RGB build because it was poorly done with no payoff. LTT videos like that usually have a "so crazy it might just work" feeling, but at the risk of sounding harsh that one was just so lifeless and ultimately a waste of time.
It's like the Titan cooling video where at the end Linus just straight up said you guys knew it wouldn't work at all.

Personally I like fully RGB fans like those from Corsair paired with RGB blocks for CPU and GPU but with plain black sexy fittings and clear coolant and having black and chrome and/or silver components elsewhere with sleeved cabling and BTW the RGB NEEDS to be individually addressable and be able to have onboard storage somewhere to control it

You just hit the nail on the head, I honestly love the idea of a high end mono themed non RGB build as it looks way more professional on your desk, then some crazy flashing beast, but not one that was done in a lazy, and 1/2 ass way that won't even boot to the BIOS/IUEFI screen.

If they had done it better than just slapping on the wrong kind of paint and making it look awful, it would have looked cool.
The electrician in me can't get over how crooked those hard line tubes are. For what is such a nice build, somebody really should have taken more time into getting the pipes square.

could looked amazing with straight lines and some extra symmetrical bends at the right places.
also as you said the cables and the pipes totally squared would made this look absolute premium.
Now it's cool but no skill is shown with piping and cables in my opinion..

I ended up putting my 560 rads with the multiple 1/4 ports on top instead of on bottom, so that way I can loosen one my fittings on the rads to let air flow take place during draining. I also have my drain fittings towards the bottom of the case next to the pumps. Works great for the draining process since air is getting in from highest point of loop and draining at the lowest part.

I have a 7700K@4.8 and a 1080ti 2050Mhz in a watercooling loop with one 360mm rad and a 240 rad and my gpu never goes above 55c, but before when it was aircooled it went up to about 75c (Aourus Xtreme 1080 Ti).
Big diffrence.
Give it time.
Metal to Metal will reach max temp quickly.

I know the feel for the TT rgb fitting's cables. Almost 2 years ago I decided to add them in my loop, and after a few days struggling with them, I've managed to completely hide them from the front side, so if you look at the build you can't even see them now :D. I'm talking of kinda 12 fittings :S
