If the knee room you need is based on bar height while turning, yes this will give you more. The stock seat frame is just very tall, and it’s a lot more comfortable in my experience, with a lowered seat frame.
Would not buy trs seat frame. Being a direct knock off coming from another enthusiast/shop is terrible. It is a horrible business practice and on absolutely any other market or piece of any vehicle knockoff parts are shunned and it blows my mind the theruckshop can get by unscathed by stealing and distributing someone else’s work.
Yeah man, everyone had their thing, if there was a viable difference between the dorf seat frame, and this one, I’d get the dorf. Unfortunately there’s not, so it was hard to justify the price past that. If the dorf frame was cheaper to the same price, I would’ve got it. But when it’s seriously the same thing? Sorry hard to spend the extra. I have a hard time justifying cost when quality is the same.

That the creator decided to mill out the inside to make the originals seat frame lighter than the knockoffs. Or if your on a budget you can buy the Amazon special that looks the exact same as the one from TRS for $89. I don’t see any reason why the TRS one is a thing. If your on a budget and don’t mind knock off $89, support a company that refuses to make knockoffs and makes truly unique parts for your bike for $230. Off my soapbox now.

The trs one claims to also be cnc’d out of aluminum in the US (just like the dorf) whereas Amazon versions are cast.
