Wanted a Dorf seat frame but can’t afford it so i found this and decided to give it a try.
Sickspeed ultra low seat frame bars. Let’s install this and see what it looks like. So far it looks good but let’s see over time how well they ride.

Like your videos cant wait for spring here in Pa got all my mods done on the ruckus and just want to ride and tune it.For a small CC motorcycle I was looking into Royal Enfield just love that old school look they have keep up the fun.
I'm 5'7ish and these are great and comfortable with my side pegs

I need that because I'm over 6 ft tall. But I also like my storage spot.. I have the ruckus under seat plastic on it.
I realize this is like a year ago, couldn't figure it out, im like he has a orange ruck, well anyway,
First off don't care about what others think, I been buying and selling on eBay since 2003, also when I had my dodge magnum I talked to sickspeed and got all kinds of stuff for my magnum and rep for the with there sticker om my car and also putting out there cards on my engine when I was showing my magnum, so I really like them and I see that tey have stuff for the ruckus, anyway I don't know about this stage thing but im pretty sure I'm at a nothing stage, no job and no money, but I do what I can to make money for my family, thanks for the vid and great job.

Hi there great video. I have a question. Will that seat frame upgrade make it possible to have a passenger? Or at least a child passenger? I bbn like the rukus but I have to be able to give rides to my children. If not do you know of an easy seat extension upgrade that will make it possible for a 2nd passenger or a child passenger. Thanks.
That was an awesome gift..I actually really like that seat frame. And for $170 less than the mnnthbx dorf frame I think I would rather have that after seeing it...I like that it keeps the seat folding the same way.

I went and looked on the bay and couldn’t find sickspeed brand...I found a brand called Blade which looks the same and it’s comes up when I searched for sick speed...

Just searched for sickspeed seat frame and left out Honda ruckus and found it...sticks they only have black and red...guess I could always buy black and paint it white
My seat is red so a red frame might look cool...think I’m gonna order it...I need some low bars now too...

I like it but I just bought the plastics for seat storage because I like have storage. But at the same time im 6 feet tall and need leg room. I wana find a way to go up and back with the seat.
Do I need to remove the foot plastic panel , and have the bare gastank? Do I need to buy other small cover pieces?

You can still keep your under the seat plastic. The plastic just needs notched.
How come I have not heard much about it? My seat opens , the position is good and so far it seems sturdy. I just have to clean my wires up now and figure out how to cover that gap between the tank and the frame (flp cover and cup holder I think will work)

Are there other lowering options that allow keeping the plastic and still have the round bars?
You can keep the plastics with this. You just have to trim a little and it works good. Keep in mind this is a very low seat bracket , there are other lower brackets that keep you stock. This one you have to trim a little.

Any luck with putting the helmet lock on the new bracket? Would love someone to show how to remove it from the old bracket and put it on the new one
I’ll check it out , maybe I can figure it out. I don’t use mine and never have Because my helmets don’t use the D rings
You can dremel the little circular piece on the back of the bracket and then use a flathead screwdriver to unscrew it. It doesn't have a shape for theft purposes. Also, I think an M10 screw will fit fine once you take out that screw piece. It's not too bad.
I think that makes the ruckus look really good with that lowering seat you put on....you live in Texas right? If I’m not mistaken

Plastic for the cover ? From what I hear it’s just 2 small notches
Just installed. Didn't cut anything on mine. The seat is making a slight indent in the plastics and the seat is a little tight to latch but you don't Have to cut anything. I am tired of having to pull the plastics to adjust my carb so ultimately easier to just ditch the rear portion of the floor boards.
so you cant have the underseat plastic cover with this seat frame? it wont fit??

Yes with a bit of modification you could , nothing a dremel couldn’t fix
