Captain "confused" instructions? Bull! He was an impatient, arrogant bully who decided it was time to leave (due to KLM time restraints) and didn't bother with authorization. The fault is 99% his. A murderer.

He was slightly confused though. While he was impatient and wanted to leave asap, he had been in the simulator too much training and didn’t notice that he didn’t have clearance to take off.

Agreed. Flight transcripts don't lie. He talked down every rational suggestion from his crew. Also, all he had on his mind was losing his license and everything if he didn't get out of there on time. If he took his passengers lives seriously he would have said to KLM take a number.. Hell of a legacy to leave behind. Then looking at his mug on all of the KLM promotional bochures you know he was full of himself. Wanna bet he was there all day to get the pose just right before publication? Douche canoe.

Like always, businesses wait until a lot of people die before spending money to make flying safer. The communications system they had was primitive. That led to the collision. Had they spent a few bucks they wouldn’t have lost a billion dollars in aircraft and lawsuits. Most leaders of companies are morons only driven by short term profits with zero concern for other people. That’s psychopathic. That’s capitalism.

..l tell my grandkids there is no such thing as un uncrashable plane or car, and no such thing as an unsinkable ship, as a person who believes in fate, I think we tempt it to much when they say that about a plane, a car or a ship, you can mitigate the risk, but that is never the way fate is, there will always be something that goes wrong or someone does something wrong and tragedy happens....I call it fate....this is why we can't let go of MH370, we have to know what happened, so it can never happen again....

Yo, yo, Candi Smith, calm down, take the statistics into consideration. And planes Don't crash everyday. Has there ever been another Canary Islands accident? We know accidents like JAL 123 happened but even so, they don't happen every day, month, year, or heck even decade.
Besides, not every passenger airliner can fit 390 people. You're talking about aircraft bigger than 737's and A320's which are far outnumbered. The 737 can host 215 at max, the A320 can hold up to 180 (may not be 100% correct but you can check for yourself). Even so, those aircraft don't always carry that amount passengers and cargo per flight so your comment isn't particularly right. Pls think before you comment next time.
