  • This video is a time lapse of typography achieved through burning sulfur on paper. This is a design project that I've made and have documented the process from start to finish. The idea was generated through being inspired by the movie genre "Neo Noir" and having the aim of creating the type out of real life objects. There were several ideas in my head but I chose to go with burning sulfur since it would have a cool effect. And it did. It took me about 2 days from generating ideas to gathering the right materials, making the stencil, recording and finally burning the font. It was a fun process and I learned a lot through doing it. This was a good experience to have gone through since it allowed to get in touch with graphic design in another realm, to make something that we always do digitally as graphic designers and put it in "reality" so to speak.
I usually make tutorials on graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator on this channel, and this video goes more into the area of an art project, but do let me know if you enjoyed this and I will try to make more videos like this in the future for you.
If you are interested in learning or strengthening your knowledge in graphic design be sure to follow my video tutorials because I explain a lot of interesting aspects on how to use Adobe Photoshop.
