Love all the examples and applications you showed. Often we fall prey to bikeshedding and spend an obscene amount of time of trivial tasks like "finding the perfect typeface" when we should be focusing on the application!
Hey Bont, great video, just a general opinion, it'll be great if you could post the links of the websites you show us or use to check fonts as that'll just help us in better navigating, thanks
Thank you for sharing, Adrian. I wanted to ask how you manage to justify the purchase of licenses for these highly renowned fonts to clients who often lack the ability to fully appreciate them (as you mention in the video). Moreover, when using them for the web, the cost of the license varies based on page views, correct?
Good question! Toomey a type phase is a tool and the more I know the tools I use the better and more efficient my work is. It's also gonna be beneficial for clarity of communication between my client and their clients. That's how I would frame it. But I think you can always get away with free alternatives in case the client doesn't want to invest in good typefaces.
Absolutely love this! I've clicked the link for the pdf, created an account and I can view the document online but there's no button to download it. From the comments, other people are having the same problem. Any help with this would be appreciated 😊
Great video!! I'm doing everything by myself and I love learning about typefaces, my favorite element of design since I've begun. The PDF isn't available anymore, is there any other way to access it?
I missed typeface number 8 - don't think you named it - can you please share? And thank you for showing me why I always come back to the classics after trying all options
Helvetica is super expensive. Could you help us get clarity on the subscription? Like what kind of license do you need to have to use it in your branding, SMM, website?
What are your thoughts on "Inter"? I think it is a really strong and flexible typeface. But I'm seeing it everywhere nowadays so I hope it doesn't become one of those overused fonts that get sick of seeing (like Raleway and Poppins)
How do I download the PDF from the link? It shows the PDF but doesn't provide any download button for it; there are other downloads below it, but the PDF is rendered inside a PDF viewer with no control to download it.
Hello! Nice insights! Can you tell me what version of Helvetica you use for websites? I use the Helvetica Now, but there is older versions like Neue Helvetica and Helvetica. Greetings from Brazil, hermano!
Another great video, I have hundreds of fonts which I never use and just seem to be hoarding them. Layouts are boring not the typeface #Truth thank you :)

4:29 - Futura

Now to copy and paste this in the description, bont.
LOVE this. Such a great lesson: it’s not the typeface, it’s the designer that uses it.
Boom, you got it :)
Everyone makes so much hype about design. You make design organized and useful. Thank's so much.
So nice of you Maria! My pleasure 🙌

Great video!! I'm doing everything by myself and I love learning about typefaces, my favorite element of design since I've begun. The PDF isn't available anymore, is there any other way to access it?
That is awesome! The PDF is still there :)

Yeah, you can't beat the classics. N°8 is Circular. Make sure to grab the PDF for reference!
Helvetica is super expensive. Could you help us get clarity on the subscription? Like what kind of license do you need to have to use it in your branding, SMM, website?
That's specified on the website you buy it. Don't buy the whole family, buy the ones you need.
1 font that's my favorite - Gotham.
What are your thoughts on "Inter"? I think it is a really strong and flexible typeface. But I'm seeing it everywhere nowadays so I hope it doesn't become one of those overused fonts that get sick of seeing (like Raleway and Poppins)
Watch the video again, I talk about Inter and about getting bored with classics ;)
@@hellobont Oh sorry. I was multitasking at the time. Must have missed it.
love it!!!
Cheers!

Book, you got it!
I know some web "designers" who use the same font on every website, irrespective of the subject matter. Sadly they neither understand nor care.
Hard to believe
