Thank you! Yes, you can leave out the garlic powder and they will still taste delish! And you can season the top however you like. Please let me know how they turn out :)
Hi Zenka, excellent question :) Tapioca flour is the same as tapioca starch. You can use arrowroot flour, cassava flour or gluten-free flour (w/o xantham gum) instead of the tapioca flour.

Since this recipe makes only 4 servings, how do you bake this in air fryer? Could you please convert the flour and yogurt into metric measurements? Thank you for sharing.
Thank you! Yes, aquafaba can be used as a substitute for egg whites in a wash! It works well to give baked goods a similar glossy finish and helps with browning, just like an egg white wash would.
This is fabulous!! Looks so delicious!!! Can’t wait to make these !!! Thank you !!! I want to make a blueberry bagel too !! Love this !! Can make smaller ones for me and normal size for the rest of the family!!! Thank you again
Excellent question, Carla! I include ingredient substitutions on the recipe page. You can access it by clicking the link in the video description :) If you want to use almond flour, you'll need to add another 'stickier' flour to help them hold together. You could try 1/3 of the amount of tapioca flour with coconut flour. Or, I have several other flour options on the website you can check out if you like :)
Great question :) I do not recommend it because oat fiber is the outside husk that doesn't provide much structure for baking. But, you can use oat flour. I created a chart on the recipe page on my website under Ingredients & Substitutions that lists various flour options and measurements.
wow Nicole you're on fire!!! Great recipes this month, always watching your channel, sorry if I don't respond to each one, but, rest assured I'm always watching 🔥 ❤❤❤

I am so sorry Nicole I lost the answer to the question I sent you....Can these Bagels be made with oat flour and almond flour together as a tapioca sub (oat) I am so in the mood for a bagel and I am sorry to bother you but when I read your sub listing I am still not quite sure about it I do not have all purpose without xantham gum so I have oat, almond and coconut....I do have tapioca and arrowroot but would rather do oat Thank you for your patience...Julianna
Hi Julianna, yes, you can use oat and almond flour :) I recommend 1/2 cup of each. You could make a half-batch of the recipe to test it first. Adjust the flour amount if needed so you get a similar consistency to what I show in the video.
@@gentletummy, combine 1/2 cup oats and 1/2 cup almonds to make the recipe. Now, if I like it and it works well, with adjustments if needed, what would be the full recipe?
@@roger12393 I'm sorry to hear that. Yes, you'll need to use the thick, plain Greek yogurt. I've used both Fage and Chobani and had success every time. If there is liquid in the yogurt tub you'll want to drain that out before scooping the yogurt.
@@gentletummy Thank you for your Greek Yogurt recommendation. I used Brown Cow which seems thick, but probably not as thick as the 2 you mentioned. I will try them again with the yogurt suggested. But they did taste really good looked like a pancake but still tasted good.
Hi Jessica, that is a great question. You can use only almond flour, but the texture will be a bit denser and not as spongy as when using tapioca flour. To use all almond flour you would need to replace the 1/4 cup of tapioca flour with 1/2 cup more almond flour. The almond flour is not as absorbent as tapioca flour. You can also replace the tapioca flour with the same amount of a gluten-free flour blend, or all-purpose flour if you don't have to eat gluten free. I recommend making a 1/2 batch to test any of these variations :)
Yogurt is a Turkish word. So the original of this food is Turkish. The things you buy from the market and eat as yogurt are not real yogurt. The Greeks and the French are fooling you.
Thank you for the insight! I'm glad we have the Turkish to thank for yogurt :) It is important to use what the stores have labeled 'greek yogurt' in this recipe because it is thicker than regular yogurt. The bagels won't rise if regular yogurt is used.
@@gillianmurphy2111 Dear knowledgeable friend, yogurt is a Turkish word in origin, meaning it has been a Turkish food for 7000 years and was invented by nomadic Turkish people. It is not anonymous.
