4 Days till Dead Girl is PUBLISHED! Here is another thing I've learned on this publishing journey!

As promised, here is me putting my face out there! You can thank Melanie Schubert and Angela Montoya for all of this FACE TIME! ;))
Okay, so this may seem fairly obvious but to be a good writer, you need to read! Yes, read for pleasure, but also with purpose! I elaborate on WHY in this video.
One thing I'll add that I brain-farted and failed to mention in this extremely LONG video is that you should READ POETRY! Poets are the masters of word play! In just a few words, they can conjure imagery, voice, plot and character immersing you into a world of their creation. It blows my mind. So my advice, read it and look at your manuscript. If you find a place where you are rambling on with exposition, see if you can be a poet and condense it down into something really beautiful and memorable.
