- This is a REPLAY except for the cockpit views.
-The high fps-rate is the result of a special recording method (replaying in slow motion, then speeding the footage up again to the original time).
-I won't provide any settings or files. Most tweaks are easy to find on the internet and they should be applied carefully depending on each individual system.

IS an amazing aircraft. I have it in the FSX ... and I love it !! I just have some issue regarding the low performance in the FPS rate .. which is going btw 15 to 20 fps.
Well I'm guessing you fly this aircraft in FSX, I don't think you can do much since that's what FSX does, it doesn't use your PC to full like P3D does or partially does.
Sehr geiles Video! Ich hätte da mal eine frage, sie benutzen ja Chaseplane für das Replay wie ich gesehen habe. Können sie mir zufällig sagen wieso mein Flieger im Replay extrem ruckelt und beim Touchdown jedes Rades eine riesige völlig unrealistische Rauchwolke kommt?
Das Problem kenne ich eigentlich nur vom Default-Replay oder von FlightControlReplay. Grundsätzlich muss man sagen, dass das Replaysystem noch nicht stabil und fehlerfrei funktioniert. Um welchen Flieger handelt es sich denn?
Super Video ! Kannst du mir mal erklären, wie du diese Kamerafahrten wie bei 5:35 machst ? Machst du das mit Chaseplane im "Outisde" Modus und bewegst dich dann einfach ums Flugzeug?

Very good. I solved some problems with the texturing of the car parking area. Sadly I had very bad communications with a satellite image provider that didn't seem to be interested in my request for a high-def ground poly and stopped answering. Guess they don't need money (and it was a lot I would have invested). That also slowed down the development for some time because other things depended on the satellite background. I also found a solution for that..I still need some time but it should be out this summer. As always, updates and screenshots will be posted on the Fangzahn Facebook page.
Is there an update for the 787 already?
SP1 for FSX and the P3Dv4 version were both released at the same time
Are u using chaseplane to record? If yes why the replay motion effects are bad on mine?
Yes, I'm using ChasePlane. Motion Effects don't work in replay mode yet, this is just an experimental feature at the moment. The shaking effects you see in my videos are all done in post production.

Ja kenne ich. Hatte vor Jahren aber nur mal bei vatsim reingeschnuppert. Ich muss sagen, dass mich die Online-Fliegerei überhaupt nicht reizt und daher fliege ich ausschließlich offline.

Oh ok...that is a problem with the replay. I started the APU during the taxi to the gate and then replayed the flight for the video, the intake didn't close during the replay in some views. The APU was off during the original flight.

It still has some bugs and seems to produce CTDs on some systems but I'm sure they will fix it soon.

I'm flying at 4K (but screen recording is at 1080p), I'm using MSAA

Butterweiche Landung :-) ! Bin seit vielen Jahren beim FSX mit 777 und dem Airbus unterwegs, und überlege irgendwann mal zu wechseln, habe aber immer das Gefühl.... dass eine Leistungssteigerung zum FSX kaum sichtbar ist..! Ist das richtig ?
P3D kann die moderne Hardware viel besser nutzen, folglich ist eine deutliche Steigerung der Performance (zumindest bei mir) zu spüren. Auf langsameren PCs wird das wohl eher nichts bringen. Grundsätzlich kann ich den Umstieg nur empfehlen. Endlich keine OOMs mehr und viel mehr grafische Möglichkeiten. Ich wollte auch nie komplett umsteigen und als ichs dann doch gemacht habe, flog der FSX schon bald von der Platte.
Danke dir...! Dann beschäftige ich mich mit dem P3D mal intensiver .! Die Addons schmerzen dann finanziell wieder :-) Aber was mach mann nicht alles für das schöne Hobby

Was genau willst du kaufen? Das Flugzeug? www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=qw787p3dv4 dort rechts auf "Download" klicken, dann scrollt die Webseite zum Download-Button vom neuen Purchase-Agent. Den lädst du herunter und kannst über diesen das Flugzeug kaufen.

I'm not sure what exactly you are referring to but I didn't edit anything other than the video itself.
He was talking about how the engine sways on the wing when it reacts to turbulence.
Hey, have you noticed any bugs yet?
The EFB was unresponsive a couple of times and the aircraft has problems following the lnav path in tight turns but nothing serious so far. These things will surely be fixed soon.

People in fact love their Cockpit's. They seem so complex and classic. Most pilots do like the classic look mixed with the modern look, so what you said is irreverent.

I dont hear “Thomson 456”. Looks like the software ProATC is not well with callsigns haha and also not with landing clearances

It depends on the type of aircraft and addons installed. My frames are at 30+ fps most of the time (good for flight simulation but would be considered bad in other games)
now i dont have to buy the PMDG 777 :D

You want old style look at Boeing's aircraft, such as the 737ng, and the 747-400/8. They have old looking cockpit's which makes them cool to fly.
Boeing has looked into adding sidesticks numerous times during development (777, 7J7, etc) and found that sticking with the yoke was the best option after evaluation. Quite frankly, Boeing and Airbus automation and systems are pretty close to each other and one is not insanely more innovative than the other, nor is one a "all-manual" aircraft

The aircraft is very gentle in turns and level changes which is very realistic. Manual flight feels good too. The FMC looks and works like the real one.

Am I the only one who finds the qw787 flare Dynamics slightly unrealistic? IRL they only flare about 2-3 degrees from what I've seen but you need to flare 5 degrees in the QW...
I'm not a real pilot but it feels very good to me, I don't really care if it's 2 degrees off the real thing. This is probably a limitation by the way FSX/P3D calculate the physics.

it has to do with the airspeed and flap setting, not the plane.
I was flying at the optimum speed and flap setting for my weight which was calculated by the fmc.
yes, the fmc calculates the speed you need when crossing the threshold. try manually flying the approach keeping the speed around 5 kts higher than vspeed.
the ideal pitch for approach should 1-2 degrees pitch until flare.

That's just a problem with the replay. The airplane was of course properly trimmed during the original flight

Pilots always complain on how dull looking the cockpit is. It has no character and is mainly used for all their more modern aircraft, bringing no character to their aircraft.

In P3D a 1080 means absolutely NOTHING! you will get lags, when you start flying into large airports with the QW and further addons installed
@Ryvox Having a GTX 1080 doesn't mean everything's instantly playable, other factors come into play too.
@Peter Young That wasn't his own landing but the autopilots, even to touchdown lol.
It was a manual landing. If you look closely at the instrument panel (MCP), you can see that the autpilot was turned off. (Happened between 7:06 and 7:16)
This plane should have also been made for X-Plane.
Its not going to be. P3D has there developers (3rd party developers) and XP11 has there developers
