[P3Dv4.2] NEW QualityWings 787 Landing at ORBX Dubrovnik

- It finally made it's way into P3D! The QualityWings 787 is a beautiful addon. It was a bit buggy with the ChasePlane playback, though, and you will see some of that in the video (overspeed warning keeps flashing and VSI is opposite...sorry!). Hopefully, I'll be able to sort those things out in the future. Also, my recording phase was cut short as P3D crashed before I was able to get all the clips I wanted. Sadly, that happened before I got any exterior shots. Until ChasePlane comes up with a way to save flight recordings like FSrecorder could in FSX, that is going to be a struggle. I hope you guys enjoy this one. Let me know what you think by liking, commenting, and subscribing!
P.S. I'm heading on vacation next week and then I'm moving across the country, so it'll be a few weeks before I can get back into P3D!
*Note: My videos focus more on visuals than they do cockpit settings and procedures, so if you notice a few knobs, switches, or settings that aren't right...I'm sorry!

Great Approach, beautiful scenery. i´d also buy this beauty in the orbx sale few days ago and you give me the reason i need to fly there.
I have two points. The Flaps went already out at 230 kias, i think this is near the Damage Tolerance, and down the gear over 210 Kias is also very sporty ;)
But it was a great laanding, and i hope to see more on your channel.

Great video, love Dubrovnik approach! Just one thing though, I thought you brought that front wheel down hard along with an early deploy of the reversers. Everyone to their own though! Thumbs up.

He's playing at half speed and then he speeds the video up. That way he shows a lot mjore FPS and fluidity than there actually is

Beautiful! ChasePlane playback is still pretty experimental. I love it, except for the vertical tire smoke on landings. FSFX is pretty active in updating Chaseplane, so hopefully that will be fixed.

Amazing graphics! Are you using reshade?
So is this PC with kb+mouse (or peripherals like yoke/throttle) or is this a fully functional simulator? I ask b/c at certain parts you can hear the pilot making checks, the audio literally sounds like it would if you were in the flightdeck (certain reverb to it). Or are those pilot speaking parts just audio files put in afterwards?
Also, if PC, what kind of setup?

Would be nice if XP11 had a decent payware 787, maybe quality wings should start making XP aircraft too (certainly a bigger user base than P3D). Definitely 737 sounds on the background

what is happening to the instruments? It looks all wrong, vario says u go up, but you are dropping in altitude, also when u turn towards the aiport, it looks like you are turning away from it on the display. Or is it just me?

Question is, why is the speed bug 180 KIAS when maintaining 160 KIAS on short finals? Also the heading bug not aligned with RWY heading? And you've clearly deployed full flaps but EICAS still showing flaps UP? Sim still needs work

I used to think the same. I'm in to P3Dv4.x for roughly $3k hahaha. But xPlane... Wow... Ortho4XP scenery generated using HD Mesh tiles gives you an unmatched photo real scenery experience... Add a bit of re-shade. Absolutely stunning. And the best part is, it is absolutely free. Totally worth the jump. Sure it takes a bit of work the generate the scenery, but it is absolutely worth it.

How is this 787? They have RR engines. I think it's 777
VeltY. Wdym? It’s clearly a 787 they have 2 engine manufacturers
Both RR and GE are the engine options for the 787.
It’s not a 777 because:
- Noice-cancelling engines
- (Big) Raked wings (777-300er also has raked, but wings aren’t as big as 787’s afaik)
- Cockpit (777X have a similar cockpit, but it hasn’t flown yet)
