I would definitely agree with rise of the resistance at 1 because it’s such a good ride system and I originally went in thinking it would be a decent Star Wars dark ride with not much but the queue alone is enough and the ride system is amazing and it’s the special effects and even the ride operators as live actors but with that being said I would rank incredicoaster higher because it was 1: the coaster that made me an enthusiast and 2: I think the theming is really good for a ride that wouldn’t have theming if it were at any other park

I just spent last week at Disneyland and it was my first time riding Rise of the Resistance and Spiderman. Rise was absolutely incredible and is one of my favorites at the park, while Spiderman I thought was fun but not worth a long wait. My current favorites in the parks are Indiana Jones, Radiator Springs Racers, Rise of the Resistance, Haunted Mansion, and Splash Mountain. Almost all the rides at Disneyland I love though, they have so many great ones!

Of all the rides I've ridden at both parks, my favorite is California Sacreamin', Soarin, Matterhorn Bobsleds, Indiana Jones Adventure, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Splash Mountain, Toy Story Midway Mania, Grizzly River Run, Radiator Springs Racers, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spin, Buzz Lightyear Astro Balsters, Star Tours, Monsters Inc.: Mike & Sully to the Rescue, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, Pinnochio's Daring Journey, Jungle Cruise, It's A Small World, Goofy's Sky School, Disneyland Railroad, It's Tough to be a Bug, Autopia, The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Undersea Adventure, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Haunted Mansion and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Anything that's missing isn't there because I haven't ridden it yet.

I grew up in the area and my grandparents were well off enough that they could afford season passes for them and me and my siblings so we used to visit on a monthly basis minimum (funny thing is because the season passes give you access to both parks my brain doesn't do a good job comprehending that they are in fact 2 separate parks with separate gated admission) I've ridden every ride at the resort dozens of times each and it will always have a special place in my heart even if I'm more of an extreme roller coaster fan nowadays.
I mean Incredicoaster's launch feels like being pushed around in a shopping cart compared to Xcelerator's launch just 5 minutes up the I-5, but Space Mountain with the Michael Giacchino soundtrack is still amazing.

Yep! This park is soooo much fun! If you can make to holiday "over lays" + November when Christmas decorations are up. To bad they closed Steakhouse 55. I ate dinner there on a Sat. night. Park closed @ mid night. I managed about 8 night rides (while others watched fireworks) and still made it out before park closing. Love riding the "mountains" If you didn't know it. The 2 drops on Pirates are there to get into the "show building" on the other side of the train tracks. It was supposed to be one long drop, but they decided to make it two.

Are you sure you didn't accidentally leave Grizzly out of your top rapids list? hehe. It really should have been there and that spinning drop is great. Plus, it has actual turbulent rapids unlike so many tame rapids rides.
I LOVE Disneyland, like yourself, and I honestly reckon for someone that lives thousands of miles away in another country, that I have been there more than anyone else in Australia lol. However I must admit I don't agree with your positions and some omissions, but I guess that's what's great about Disneyland, there is just so much there, that what appeals most will be different for everyone. I have fond memories of taking my then near 70yo mother on tower of Terror, just prior to it's closure for refurbishment into Guardians. She was laughing her head off the entire drop sequence and her handbag was wrapped around her wrist but was flying into the air which was hysterical. I was already in EU, the flew to US for a few weeks, but she visited with my sister and nieces for the final two weeks so we could give them a family trip to Disney. Needless to say, they went for 7 days in a row LOL and wanted to live there, the little darlings.
The thing I am looking forward to more than anything is Rise of the Resistance and I so hope I am able to visit soon as I am sure that will be my number one.
Lastly, re splash mountain.. I did NOT like the Florida one. Theming wasn't as good, and neither were the drops - the 2 abreast inline seating with lap bars just didn't work for any of the drops for me, it's as if it made them way tamer and I get zero tummy drop feeling on that one.
My favourite was Dudley do right before they re profiled the drop and I guess it still is, with Chiapas second and California Splash Mountain third. The reason is that I am all about that ending drop on a log flume, and the Chiapas one edges out Splash and so does Dudley's. I even get airtime on Dudley's every time. That said on occasion right at the back I get it on the CA version of Splash as well, just not as extreme.
I used to get so much joy after the final drop in Splash, when we would enter the room with all the animatronics singing zippedeedoodah - and whether or not you agree with the politically charged planned removal of it, I respect your stance either way and hope you can respect mine. For me, retheming to princess and the frog is going to flat out ruin the ride, and I just hope I can get a final chance to ride it again before it closes. I can't believe crazy PC complainers are making out that a ride is racist. It's a ride and doesn't do a single racist thing.
