18:40. i think the reason they decided to make it “pixar pier” is because of the popularity of the new movie inside out and they were trying to build hype for incredibles 2
I’ve been hoping for an Up attraction too! I feel like it’s one of the greatest Disney movies of all time and there would be such interesting scenic design and animatronic opportunities. Similarly, I think a Meet the Robinsons ride would be super cool, but much harder to do correctly.
I don’t like the Toy Story coaster idea. I miss the onboard audio for California screamin, but it would be cool if Disney rethemed it back to a classic boardwalk and used the old screamin audio and repainted trains back to its original colors. And of course retrack the loop. However I would add one thing, California screamin during the fall months of late September early October could have fog effects through the scream tubes and they could have a Halloween rock song playing during those months for on board audio. So the pier could have temporary Halloween experiences. One time they wanted to make paradise pier into a villains land for Disney characters. Also I wish Disney could find a way to make the restraint just a little more free for the coaster. However that would scare most of the public away.
Zootopia would be a good fit in Hollywood Land also to expansion areas just below HL. The monorail already goes through that area anyway so that would be a nice sight line to see in Zootopia.
@@Cheeky_Hiro Expand marvel. Thats what needs to be done. Marvel expansion. 2 or 3 more rides a restaurant and a few quick service options. Level Hyperion theater to make even more room during the construction. Then add the “E ticket” avengers ride across from pyms and you have a full fledge Marvel land.
I don’t think the incredicoaster upside down track needs to be fixed, it literally says when you get on the ride to keep your head back, if you do that there’s zero issues.
Yeah there is a couple of moments of head banging as well. And it’s not like Incredicoaster even comes close to needing them. Although i suppose OTSRs may make nervous children/riders feel safer and more likely to ride, even though lap bars are just as safe
Paradise pier combines an aspirational emotion with a location. Tells you where you are and how to feel about ut. Brilliant. Pixar pier tries to elicit the same response and experience but cuts the emotion out of the name and falsely credits pixar with why you should feel good.
It’s been rumored for years they want to replace Journey Into Imagination at Epcot with an Inside Out dark ride. The Tron-style motorbike coasters are overrated. Knott’s has one already with Pony Express. DCA needs another roller coaster, but not Tron.

Pixar Pier is indeed a major step down from the Victorian Paradise Pier
I saw someone suggest Disney Cinematic Adventure for a new name and personally I think it’s a great name as u can keep the DCA acronym too

Calling it right now: Final Fantasy will get their own 3D themed ride at the park
I only want one ride to be added to DCA and that ride would be pretty cheap to make it a little coaster called California Screamin

dca needs a new coaster

Zooptopia being a good fit for California adventure is the biggest joke I’ve ever heard…. Shame on you.
@@PapaMorty-I don’t see why not? It fits Hollywood Land much better than Monsters Inc

Gravity falls ride in grizzly peak
Not popular enough
Disney IP Adventure.... 🤪
If you look at the grammar of the name, it is stating there is an adventure in CA. Not necessarily a need for everything to be CA themed.
No monsters Inc Slander
my bad 🫢

The Incredicoaster needs new trains and get lapbar restraints or better over the shoulder restraints. The current ones are too bulky and restrictive

I don’t think disneyland needs Tron

good point, I definitely would prefer the cosmic rewind style spinner anyway
