- Do you ever ask yourself, "Why do I hate everyone"? If so, here are seven reasons why you hate people and how to overcome these negative beliefs. It's normal to feel aggravated by others sometimes. It's even common to strongly dislike or borderline hate certain people who you deem terrible.
But hatred toward other people can cause problems, and it can have an adverse effect on both your personal and professional life. That said, do you really hate people? Or is there something else that's bothering you?

I like it when I spend time alone because it gives me more time to reflect on people I've dealt with in the past and currently deal with. I'm able to see people for who they truly are through deep meditation. Nothing gets by me anymore. I stay away from fake people

I feel like the narcissist or egocentric or whatever ego-other word because I just wanna deal with myself and I'm done with people and I feel like everyone around me is wrong and I'm right, I'm living life to how it SHOULD BE and everyone else is restricting themselves and not having fun, I'm enjoying having fun by myself.
I work in EMS (Paramedic) and absolutely hate people. The sheer level of stupidity, complete disregard for anyone other than themselves, the levels of violence and cruelty people inflict on each other. I see all this on a daily basis. People are horrible.

Why in the world would you choose to be a paramedic when you feel that way? I don’t get it at all. That’s like being a veterinarian and hating animals. Crazy. Find something else . . .
@@ravenfeathesDVM Because the majority of people I see want and need my help are quite grateful to see me and my co-workers. It's the people I see that have inflicted violence upon others, or what they have done to others that makes me hate those people. I'll respond to a call where someone has repeatedly stabbed someone, then 2 hours later, being taking a woman to the hospital to have her first baby. I love my job and would never do anything else.
@@ravenfeathesDVM also sometimes people think they will like a job and initally dont hate those people, but through experience you see aspects that are annoying, stressful and so on. For example I did an internship at an animal hospital and EVERYONE told me that it is the job with the highest suicide risk.

I never said or did anything to offend them. I'm more of an introvert and widely misunderstood. Not complaining, just explaining.

Correct! I'm just about retirement age, with no family to inherit my estate. So far, I've had four people trying to wiggle their way into my money. Too bad, suckers! My estate is going to a veterinary college. I don't know which is worse, that they tried to manipulate me, as confirmed by a bank manager, or they thought I was so stupid that I wouldn't figure it out.

One of my happiest times of my life was when there was no people outside during the pandemic. I enjoyed driving around and walking around with no need to see people and no interaction.
My life did not change anything pre-pandemic from during pandemic time haha, dont know if that makes me sad or a visionary lol

I don't like being around people often because I am tired of always hearing about politics, race, sex, appearance and money in pretty much every conversation I have. Believe it or not, there are other things to talk about, like hobbies, nature, music, books, good relationships with others, goals etc.

Call centers, trust me it's worse. Just like the internet, since you're not face to face making eye contact they feel more anonymous. The up side is that they can't spit in your face or grab your ass. Also if they deny anything it's all recorded. Man people are dumb, deceiving fucks.

I use to be social in middle school and high school, but once I went to college and unfortunately got around fake people, I truly started to recognize my introversion and began not wanting to be around people.

I was very social to when younger. Now the thing i like most is to be alone.
I deeply hate almost everyone around me because even those 'close' to you tend to disrespect your boundaries. And when I defend my boundaries suddenly I'm viewed as sensitive, aggressive or overly dramatic. I can't stand that anymore. I grew up in an abusive household and those scars will never go away so naturally now as an adult I don't take bullsh*t from anyone anymore.
I learned that I'm perfectly fine whithout friends & whithout family. I'm the person I can always rely on. In two months I move away in a better apartment with neighbors who are a little more considerate and I'll start a new job with fewer working hours where I don't have to be a 'teamplayer'.
Can't wait to start over and this time I'll fully embrace the life of a loner.

You are totally right! I hate the people from my past. I moved out and went no contact with my family when i became 25 years old. With 27 I became sick of the people in my country so i moved from Switzerland to Mexico. Same year married my wife i love. BIn mexico i had the same problems with some family members of her. They don`t respect me so Im rude to them, they get scared of me because i take no BS and suddenly they respect me. And i tell them in the face in front of everybody. Suddenly everybody treats you correctly and nice. People are so fuc*ing stupid and primitive.
I don't like socializing anymore 🤣 this is so unhealthy I can stay in my room for daysss just working and stuff without feeling guilty of not socializing with family and friends. I just don't care about what they think of me any more. I don't care If I lose all of them.

The main reason I hate most of society is because when groups of people and even individuals see me they feel threatened by me. Being treated like I have no value. Automatically categorized without knowing me. This has been the story of my life for many years. The pandemic just amplified the manure even further. Before, I believed that people would eventually see past their own stupidity and things would get better. Now I just ignore most of the trash (people) around me unless they show that they possess genuine value (not financial status). Now, I take pleasure in knowing that they are the ones who have nothing to offer. Go figure.
I'm right there with you. I've been constantly treated like I'm a threat to people just because I have common sense, and a set of values that represent order. Unfortunately the rest of my generation (Gen Z btw) are all idiots and treat me like an outcast and those with common sense in my generation still treat me like an outcast. For me hatred is all I feel when around others, one thing I benefit from it all though is at least I'm not some idiot.

I don't hate them, i just do not trust them for all the reasons i have mentioned! This is reality! Almost forgot to mention, i've had two friends throughout my life that i would trust 100%. In my experience, most people are garbage. That being said, I don't necessarily "hate" people in the traditional sense. I'm just much happier having them out of my life. Living away from people and society is one of the best decisions I've ever made. Makes for a stress-free, peaceful life.

Adulthood is High School 3.0 (22 to 35ish) or 4.0 (35ish-65ish).
The horrible experiences i had with people being gossiped about, slandered, and hurt by their words and actions has caused me to isolate myself, choosing to do things alone, and not wanting to get married and have children.

I hate people who are extroverts and force everyone to be extroverted. Nothing wrong with loving to talk or wanting to make friends but it's extremely difficult for an introvert to fit in in a group since people will find you weak or worthless if you're generally quiet. It's why I admire people who accept solitude, It's hard to belong to people whose natural internal goal is to socialize as much as possible. I guess I'm just too introspective.

I feel like to the extremely extroverted, I am just another body to hang out with. Most of them don’t have anything interesting or insightful to say for me to want to engage with them. I just find the act of empty socialising and engaging in mindless chit chat/small talk painfully boring. I really don’t get the appeal of dulling our consciousness in loud music and alcohol so parties in general aren’t for me. I appear to be ‘boring’ to people who enjoy these things.
Silence is power, it's the weak that think of it as weakness. You get to observe and listen, when you eventually talk, you already know what they are all about.
As an extrovert, I try to make people feel included. I’m sorry if you feel like we make you feel weak. That’s never been my intention. I respect introverts just as much.

Introverts do not have trouble with socializing, they have trouble with talking about superficial nonsense.
I’m happy being a introvert, I’ve walked into a room full of people and they all stopped and looked at me and all I could feel is hatred from them and I didn’t even know them. You would have thought I walked into the room and told them that I just killed their whole family. I prefer to be alone and hang out with my dogs, animals have never looked at me with accusing looks. It’s exhausting to be around people, besides I don’t trust people. When you are falsely accused of something you never did, it makes it even easier to stay away from them.

I think its safe to say other than friends and family i just hate literally everyone i see because I don’t know what they’re capable of, they may look friendly at first but they might be a bad person. I just get easily annoyed with everyone and know I lack empathy. I learned at an early age to only contribute my voice to a conversation if it’s worth my while, if not I’m not listened too. Idk, I know it’s a me problem. I just hate long conversation, sharing spaces, etc.

I was considering therapy but I'm pretty sure they can't do anything to help me only I can help myself by trying to move on. I've been on pills but they didn't change my mood.

so accurate, I don’t hate people because I stayed in my house for a long time, for real, sometimes I don’t understand why some people would hate the world, it’s beautiful and full of ways to make myself happy, but I can also understand why they feeling this disgusted emotions, you are being to close to people, distance makes perfection.

I hate people because they judge me too quickly. I can feel their eyes on me, and they automatically think I'm some bad guy or something. And, people are just assholes, no fucking manners at all, no self awareness. I've tried and tried to be open to others, but I've given up. I don't care about other people anymore, forget them. I only care about myself now. I don't even greet anyone anymore, I don't say hello, nice day, etc. I just pass them by without even a look, smile or a care in the world.
I don't interact with anyone, even at work, I avoid all people. I've cut myself off from everyone I've ever known, I don't leave my house at all, and if anyone contacts me I make sure that they absolutely regret that decision.

I went to the shop last night when I knew that lockdown had relaxed but was still unpleasantly surprised when I saw teenagers drinking and shouting in the street. Lots of people suddenly all drinking in the outdoor seating area of a pub etc. I can be quite social but I much preferred it before. Why does everyone have to get slaughtered on alcohol and feel that thats so amazing etc. Not a fan.
I hate my mom for taking A motel job. And living in the motel. Knowing that I Have a lot of problems with talking to people and I think peoples voice's sound nails on a chalkboard. And she lets anyone in the office to have a party. And I can hear them screaming from my room on the opposite end of the house part of the motel. Just beside room 9. When I had friends and wanted family relationships, I kept getting into trouble my life was a mess. Now I keep to myself and I completely got my shit together.
My problem is I read people as soon as I meet them, I start analyzing everything they say. And then I see right through them and the horrible person they truly are and when I tell you MOST people are actually awful people. This is why I rather be by myself. Sometimes I think I do it too much because I start making mental checklist for every person I meet and then it just starts adding up till I eventually hate them. I may not tell them I hate them, I may not act hateful towards them but inside I know how ugly they are and it’s disgusting and I hate myself for surrounding myself with ppl like that

2. I really hate when they make me change the way I am
3. I really hate when walking in the public, it got me stressed out what they would think or feel of me.
4. I hate being obligated to the same nice things when they did something nice to me when I didn’t ask for their help.

What my hate is based on is how disloyal and two-faced people are. Also their lack of ethics, principles, morals and how quick they are to betray you.
I believe that most people are very very dumb, when your intelligent it’s hard to want to go out or talk to people 99% of people I come across have the iq of a donut, so theres really not much to look forward to conversation wise or socially, I spend a lot of time on my own , if its too much time alone I spend it with friends only to find conversation boring and most the time toxic nothing in common than I revert back too isolation , that’s were I’m happiest . But people are progressively getting dumber due to social media. So we’re doomed, focusing on health and fitness, isolation and family guy Re-runs is where it’s at. I’m bored but I’m happy and never deal with drama.
Reading the comments actually made me feel better because I always felt like I was always alone. My mom raised me to always be nice to others, help others, treat everyone with respect, always help out someone in need. After following that mindset and working with customer service you kinda just see the dark side of people. Help too much they take advantage of you or if you don't help at all your the worst human being in the planet to them and that type of stuff kinda makes me not want to interact with anybody and it always felt like no one would understand me and just look at me like some negative person which I am aware of but life kinda set me this way and I want to change it but don't know how or where to begin.

Sure, people might re-evaluate that comparison if they had a near death experience, but before that, unless you've heard someone admit they were wrong about something important before, then do not EVER bother to argue with them because it will be a waste of time. Make no mistake, if people deserved forgiveness they would never have screwed you over in the first place. Sure. Does it hurt more to have people who pretend to be your friends and see you as nothing more than an accessory to be manipulated and discarded without a second thought? Yes. That hurts more. 40+ years now, I've only met about 3 people I can tolerate for more than a few hours. I don't care if people have different opinions, but most don't know how to have an actual intellectual conversation without turning it into an argument. As for an office job, how many times can you hear good morning & happy Friday without wanting to run out screaming? And the interruptions? They have no concept of concentration & focus. Boundaries? No one listens and a lot of them are bullies who get upset if you live a different way from them. In short, almost all people suck. If I could live alone with animals for the rest if my life, I'd be okay with that. People are usually two faced and fake.

Well, this is my version of hate. I don't hate anyone at all. That term is too harsh, too toxic, and not nice at all. What I dislike a lot are people's bad actions. I feel a strong avoidance towards people for now because I have had too many toxic, opportunistic, Psychopathic, and Narcissistic people and family in my life. So, last year, I made the resolution to declutter myself and my life from those kind of people. Then, I made the resolution to stay in total solitude for a year, and guess what, the pandemic came. I was already psyched out. So, for me the pandemic came as a blessing in disguise. I have embarked in many spiritual projects, and crafts projects. I feel so recharged and so enhanced that I don't think I will go back to socializing at all again. I just feel so content, si at peace, and so happy the way it is now. The world is awful and sadly, most don't understand this until middle aged years. We start off young thinking our voices will be heard and we can make a difference. But the reality is no one cares about how you feel things should be. People are out there for themselves.
Many people will act like they are your friend, but they are not. They are only there for self gain. Sure, there are good people mixed in. But the best way to determine if someone is your friend is to call them when you are in a bad spot. I have one guy I have known for over 20 years I consider a good friend. Wife and I broke down 25 miles offshore. I called my friend and he immediately asked if we were ok and he needed some time to get ready, gas up his boat and make the run out to me. It was completely dark when he got to me and he even brought the wife and I some barbecue takeout.
I got offtrack a bit. Be respectful to people, but always have your guard up. Don't quickly trust anyone and look after the people who are real friends or family in your life.
I am an introverted person and feel like crying over tiniest of things, my family would never get me and keep fighting with me over pity issues, life is hell!!!

So meaning I’m an introvert who loves hanging out with friends whenever I have the energy. But, alot of my friends are extroverts because I know everytime they are with their friends. They’re a lot more happier and i could see that. Not all extroverts are stereotypes. Idk why people can’t understand that. But yes, I’ve seen a lot of good people who are extroverts. It doesn’t pay when you expect a certain reaction from them. I’ve worked in retail for years and realised if I’m humble towards shitty customers it elevates the situation even slightly, and that was enough for me. When I don’t take it personally, I come out of it with no regret knowing I did the right thing. And you never know, you might make a lasting impression on them to be more kind in future. However, there are days were I don’t feel like being warm cause I don’t have the energy, and there shouldn’t be any shame in that either. I don’t blame you it’s only decent for someone to give it back, but making yourself humble for a an expected response is a form of people pleasing, something I’ve been slowly undoing for years. People pleasers tend to forget people are peculiar and flawed.
I don't do it to get paid back or something, in fact, it's even better if they ignore and never come in contact with me ever again afterwards. I help because i feel sorry for some and i imagine how I'd feel if i was in their situation. As selfish as it sounds, i do it for me.
