@@Highvoltage-ml6wl Power and skills have nothing to do with it. You can feel confident in yourself, but being surrounded by a bunch of people that are not aligned is quantity over quality. I go to concerts to see the band, not to be in the crowd. I focus on the stage and I might say something to a person next to me. I don't need anybody else there. If I could see the same show and share the experience with just one person I care about that is going to be preferable (although not plausible). Too much confidence is not a good thing, either.

If you're a Sigma, you don't wonder why you don't have many friends. You already know why. Supreme loyalty and trustworthiness are the two qualities a Sigma male looks for in a true friend, because he is that type of person himself. Very few people possess these qualities, so that is why Sigma males have few friends. If you're a Sigma, you couldn't care less if you have few to no friends. In fact, you prefer it that way, because people tends to run into troubles in their life, so as a true friend, a Sigma would not have enough time, energy or assets to offer genuine help to a large group of friends.

Man, I heard that! I’ve got 150 acres but don’t run cattle anymore. I was diagnosed w/a disease of the spine so things I “used to do”, are growing smaller & smaller as I age & my disease progresses. You are right on track with the people of the world today. I used to call cities like Springfield, MO., New York, NY., or Los Angeles, CA., “Freak-Show Central”, but it’s like it’s taken over EVERY major city & even some not so major. Where I live in SW Missouri, through Covid-19? Nobody wore masks here, we weren’t made to stay home, school wasn’t canceled. I’ll be 50 my next birthday & I still have our youngest son in school 8th Grade, then I have an almost 28yr old with a 6yr old son himself, then our middle son is 25 w/a 1 1/2yr old daughter, and yes being a “Grandpa”, is AWESOME! I’ve come to a point where I’ve devoted my life to the Mrs., my youngest & his sports, Football, Baseball & Soccer. As for the grandkids, I just took my grandson camping for his 1st time last weekend, roasted hot dogs on the open fire & made him “S’mores. He was an absolute joy to be with ALL NIGHT. His name is “Lyle Scott”, after my Paternal Grandfather & me! I told my boy (Missouri Dept. Of Corrections-yes he’s a big lad! Benches 375lbs, 230lbs 35” waist), I wouldn’t have done that to him!! Lol My youngest is “Parker Scott”, again, NOT my doing but rather my wife’s and I told him the same thing “Blame your Mother”!! My middle son was a D-1 Baseball prospect but decided NOT to go to college as my wife was unpacking his clothes in the dorm. Now, he’s a Supervisor at a local manufacturing plant & Assist. Coach of the Varsity High School Baseball team. An exciting day for me is seeing a mama doe & her fawn grazing in the yard! Driving the SxS down to the creek & just listenen’ to the water! People do not realize the joy to be had in the simple life as the busy world is passing them by. I don’t need a “buddy”, here at the house everyday to keep me company. I’ve got my acoustic & electric guitars, my dobros I can play during the day. Music is & always has been as constant companion for me. I like to read as well & learning about the world around me can no value be placed upon it. It sounds like you’ve figured things out for yourself! It’s like if you & I could just get the world to listen I think they’d be better off? Right? The way things are now? I don’t think you can reach very many people w/reason & logic these days. You & I know where the people will come when things get real bad, don’t we? You know what? I’ve got no sympathy for them & I won’t have open arms for them either! Best of luck to you & all the happiness you deserve. We all deserve some peaceful years & I don’t mean when were 80! It’s nice knowing we found it long before we were at the end of of lives, right? Take care my friend!

With due respect, The need to qualify is
more or less dependent on one's desire
to be a good communicator. In other words,
whether or not one places importance in communicating with quality and/or accuracy.
I think we can all agree that whatever
feelings a donut may invoke are not
the same as those towards your mom. While you may be inferring that you simply enjoy donuts, using a word that better
describes your feeling shows a desire to
be more authentic and accurate in speech.
      Examining our language requires examining
our thoughts, feelings, beliefs and desires,
not to mention our history and depth of
      experience.
It is, of course, conceivable that the word "love" is not particularly meaningful to you.
But I doubt this to be the case...

I've recently broken up with my Girlfriend of 2 years. I shouldn't have got involved with her from day one. She has some lovely qualities, but unfortunately, she suffers from BPD. I didn't know how difficult it is being in a relationship with a BPD sufferer. Her numerous angry outbursts and agitation due to easily being overwhelmed, left me walking on eggshells for most of the relationship. I had to make a decision that was best for my mental health. Yes, I'm single again, but at least I can now do my own thing. When I'm back in a good headspace, I'll start dating ladies, but, I won't rush into anything. Maybe, FWB or a Cougar situation would be beneficial for the lifestyle I need when I'm ready.

My sigma side really came out in full force after my husband/soul mate/best friend died suddenly in 2019. I've always gravitated toward being more on the loner side of life. My late husband brought out a socially active part in me that I hadn't been aware of most of my life, and it was nice, while it lasted. Today, I keep the company of only my sheepdog pretty much, unless I have to interact with people... which I go out of my way to avoid if possible. To be honest, wish I wasn't this way in many ways, it's actually lonely... but, my growing distrust and dislike of people, in general, over the past 7-8 years has taken the driver's seat. Society has become unpleasant, and it feels like it's just getting worse. Peace.

Every single trait mentioned in this video lines up flawlessly with my personality.
I used to think that I was just weird or different from most people. Maybe I was just antisocial, but I actually fit into the sigma male category that makes complete sense.
I have made countless friends throughout my lifetime but through school changes, job changes or life changes I always lose contact eventually. Sometimes they may do something that leads me to not trust them anymore.
It might seem shallow, but I tend to make calculated decisions about people by observing their behaviors with others as much as possible before I categorize them as to where they would fit, or if they would fit into my life.
I just see it as only letting trustworthy people into my inner circle.
Why bother dealing with someone who you can't trust?
Sadly these days there are not many people left that you can trust anymore so needless to say my circle has become very small.

One of the things I hated most in life was trying to figure out who I was, takes too much time and effort. When I did figure it out I never looked back. That was forty some years ago and I haven’t changed since. I love who I am AND who I never became because of “someone” else’s desire. I own me, not thee, and vice versa. To this day finding the perfect female companionship has eluded me so I must be one in ten million. Maybe I’ll find my mate the next tyme around. If I ever find her she will think she’s a Princess! She will make me her Prince. But that fairytale is for another time. Great video!

I’m my experience many female personalities tend to get frustrated by a sigma seemingly antisocial traits and alphas don’t like it that we aren’t part of the boys club.
I finally realized, you can’t fight your own spirit.

Great videos. I am enjoying that listening to them is helping my expand my understanding of myself and my life. (I am 74) I do have only a very few and close friends. The simple truth is almost no-one perceives the world at the level of inter-relationship I experience. I was lucky enough to have my father tell me when I was 14 that I am very different from others. Neither better nor worse, simply very different. He advised I put my energies and attention into understanding myself with only a little energy going to noticing how others perceive their world. By the time I was 16 I was very aware my perception of life was vastly different than others, far more complex and inter-related than others perceived. I grinned realizing most people find my views of life as utter nonsense. It was obvious that my earlier expectations of others 'understanding' me was unrealistic. As an example... Someone would complain about another person lying. When viewed from the perceptive fields of the complaining person what the other person said certainly was a lie. Yet within the perceptive fields of the person 'lying' what they said certainly was 'truth'.

I’ve only recently realised I’m a 51yo sigma, and damn, I’m proud. I’m a CEO of a public US company, have three life friends, raised my son alone and been single 10yrs. We are the natural leaders in an apocalypse. I’ve rarely been the top social dog, but in a crisis, I always am, and even saved lives, but feel no ego with it. Never be afraid of an Alfa, but the very rare intelligent Alphas will use you to elevate him - I support these Alphas, as it can become an amazing pairing.

I support no alfas they fear me. Only because they dont realize i can not stand confrontation. I only stand up for other people not myself. This destroys people not that im a fan. I would rather build people up and make them better no were it leaves me. But im tired of seeing people bullied. That is what an alfa male is a bully. Unfortunately its whats wrong with the police in this country. We are definitely the leaders of the apocalypse. I have seen it in my dreams and have lead hundreds to safety. God bless. Too bad none of us want to be president. Lol

The most fundamental problem Sigmas face is the initial belief that you’re the only one out there. Creeps all seem to run in packs, but Sigmas are out there by themselves - solitary, self-absorbed and wary. There should be a network or something. Sigmas Anonymous.

It is called the "Ugly Truth" for a reason, and people have always said to be honest, which means telling the ugly truth. So, I found out that it is easier to piss people off, by being honest and telling the truth, rather than lying, to yourself and other people by changing who you are, just to get people to like you. Ever since telling the truth and being honest, I have found myself.

Its easy . I would rather have 4 solid quarters then 100 penny's that do little on their own .I've had friend get into big trouble and I've done things the law would frown on to help those friend out . I've had friends do the same for me . Maybe I should just say that I will go all in for a friend and I expect the same . It would be too difficult and time consuming to get a deep understanding of a whole bunch different people .

I much prefer conversing with others, though I generally find it more rewarding to read and reflect on my own. I can't get past, and have difficulty connecting with, others bias and inability to be genuine. I'm generally seen as shy while I'm more accurately reticent and reserved. I value communication in its quality while others seem to value its quantity and nonsensical/tangential playfulness. I find that tiring and immature. I don't fit anyone's mold.
Justified confidence makes others feel inadequate and uncomfortable, while false confidence makes others feel secure. *Regardless of tactful approach and delivery*
The few people I've developed long/close relations with all share the same feedback - I'm a completely different person than they thought the day we met. I believe it's fair to extrapolate that to the general publics perception. To be fair, i have a proclivity to observe human behavior. It's habitual and instinctual. People are fake and dishonest. So, I'm not inclined to be more transparent about my character.

When I got older than about 16, I had a few teachers who did not like me, although I liked them and enjoyed their teaching. But I simply was not able to phrase my questions in a way that did not make them react negative in some way. I finally even asked classmates whether my questions were in any way awkward or inappropriate. They said no and found my questions good and the teacher's reactions strange.
The problem continued into my adulthood. Whenever I had advanced training, the same problem ocurred. I stopped asking interesting questions. It was the only solution.
