- In this video, we are going to list some common reasons why people ignore you! We’ve all been there… whether it was a first date who seemed interested but never called back; or a friend who suddenly seems to have dropped off the face of the Earth.
Being ignored by someone is a rather unpleasant situation to be in. You find yourself wondering if you did something wrong to push people away. In certain situations, it has nothing to do with what you did or didn’t do… Sometimes, there are people who just don’t like us. And that’s normal - after all, we all have different personalities, values and views of the world. Other times however, there are indeed reasons why people ignore you - you likely did something (probably unknowingly) to provoke the silence.
This list will show what those things are, so you can correct any mistakes you might have made to chase some people away.

The thing that I found is that honestly just taking the small moments to honor your own self as the solution of the hardest times has definitely served me and also though poker face can serve... my goal now is to take my time every conversation I have to be as much of my fullness as I can
I've found that when I see that in my space I have a choice to how much I can give so I make mutual wins as much as possible. Win win ya know

What actually bothers me is that the person who had a nice conversation with me yesterday for so long and then ignores me the next day as if im a stranger....
Why they did that
Sometimes for some people it's hard to stay in a friendship not because of them, it's because they don't know how to interact with others and when they do they prefer not to ruin it . And i think that's the case of you but i don't really know.
this happened to me, I talked to guy for days and we facetimed until he started leaving me on read and delivered and then he blocked and I was like wtf. It juist means I have more time to focus on myself and not others opinion, not like I`ll be friends with them in college.
Probably the person has insecurities and feels you will betray or treat him/her really bad like others in the past. I say this because it's happening to me, I want to trust in people but my insecurities don't help me and I loose opportunities. I feel people will treat me bad like others in the past. In the past it was hard for me to identify what person had good intentions and what person was being fake nice with bad intentions. I met a person in social media and I ghosted him, because I'm afraid of being hurt. I feel so lonely to the point I entered in a WhatsApp group of self-care and an Instagram account of a fandom of a band I listen, I erased the self care chat group and I just stay in the fandom group. My sister has less friends than me, just 3 or 4 and she interacts with people online in a community of a videogame she loves, she is doing it very well.

True. We an approval seeking society. If someone doesn't one can try to hard to be approved and affect their self esteem. Don't seek anyones approval. Just be yourself, focus on your own goals and don't care what other people think. You'll be criticized anyway no matter what by some. This is the mature adult way of life.

I don't know, but most people don't like me because I'm a Christian.
Yet those people who hate me also have good vibes but also brag about on social media about how they don't have friends or they don't have many. Its so ridiculous. Then there's me who has few friends, doesn't fucking brag about my social status, and doesn't guilt trip about how everyone is fake, who just is a laid back person who's open to friendships. Idk, people are just strange.

Only a narcissist person would call that guilt tripping. I'm not trying to be something I'm not. I used Guilt-trip as a verb for when someone's best friend leaves them for another person or gets backstabbed by someone, they guilt trip into other people's groups about never having friends or that everyone is fake but then you look at them on their social media and they have all these photos of them hanging out with all sorts of different people.

The truth is that most people only "pay attension" to someone if they can USE them for something(s) that are important to them.
Agree! Especially, when it's summer, only those ones will talk to you who really likes your personality, not only what you can give to them. So you can easily decide in this period, how many fake friends do you have...and I've just realised I had too much. 😒

I had friend who I did a lot to support, but she never listened to my advice. Then she would say her a new friend gave her this great advice and it was the same thing I'd said to her in the past. This happened often. She needed me but still ignored me.
I hear you Adrienne. I have sensed that over the years. There are too many people like that. I look for genuine people who are hard to find these days not users or people who have money, etc. In NY, most people are not even friendly these days. If anyone is, it's people over 60 (seniors).
You missed the most relevant reason. People today, with social media and their addiction to texting , individuals are more socially inept, narcissistic and shallow than ever. A lot of people do not have basic social skills. In addition, a lot of people also have mental, emotional and social issues that dictate their unpredictable, erratic or childish behavior.

THANK YOU!!! For example, coworkers. They will ignore you even if you're being a sweetheart to them and not annoying. Remember if you're annoying someone it's a completly different thing than just trying to speak to someone like and adult. So if you're not annoying and you just simply want to speak to someone but they're ignoring you, most likely they're jealous.

What hurts is when your alone and barely have any friends and you try to make some but they ignore you. Even if you have that charisma they still ignore you. I sometimes think that they are biased.

I'm starting to do the same, only to the arrogant ones who think they are so much better than the loners, the single people, even the poor & semi educated people who had reason why they couldn't finish their schooling. These arrogant people are spoiled by parents who do too much for them & and think "oh its ok, my mum does my ironing, oh mum im broke at the moment, can I borrow some money etc. They are a disgrace to the human race. I have never been an arrogant person, only given my opinion sharply on serious matters on human nature & how others conduct themselves. a few of my friends are genuine. The comments itself are way helpful! It's so nice to see positive people lift each other. Life is too short to look for others approval. If you're lucky you will have one or two valuable people in your life who will be by your side the whole ride. The rest of the people are there to help you learn and grow. More people= more drama.
I think not caring about what people think is a huge step in self love. Because of the fact that you don't need other people's approval it's refreshing. I got that way because of tragic things that have happened in my life. I discovered I only need the people that love and care for me. I don't need people that don't. I guess that's confidence. I'm ok if no one likes me.

People are ignoring me because I am learning and trying to succeed in life. When others are not fully happy with themselves and see that you/your energy level is positive (even when homeless or in the worst position), they hate that. Another reason is when you are consistantly learning new things (languages, life skills), they feel intimidated.
Yes! 100% true... people don't want you to change, so when you follow your own path, choose for yourself... and making progress people can't stand it. It's a control thing.. when you stay the same it feels kinda safe for alot of people so they can have a platform for their own life and they don't have to feel intimidated 😏

If someone ignores you, they aren’t worth your time especially if they keep ignoring you. You will find people that treat you better, don’t worry about people that despise you. You don’t need to include people that ignore you in your life because they are just a waste of time.
The best time or worst time to know who is your true friend is when you are deeply grieving over the loss of loved one. Some friends do their best to be part of your emotional burden and adding more to your pain instead of reducing it. Some hidden friends that you were ignoring or unintentionally had no prior contact they do their best to reach out, touch your heart and soul, and be there for you with their feelings and calming words. Just sayin, be careful who is your true friend or enemy. I got my lessons, I lost my oldest brother to Covid and now I have a clearer vision over my past and future friendships. Number 15: the person or people you feel are ignoring you could be going through a truly rough patch at the moment. Perhaps they are going through a divorce/breakup or became very ill and not ready to share those things with others just yet.
Another thing: I am sure there are people in my life right now that feel that I am ignoring them, but it is unintentional. I am suffering from depression and anxiety at the moment and am having a difficult time staying in contact with loved ones. I often worry that I am (or will be) a burden to others and therefore shy away from them. I don’t wish to bring anyone down with my problems and don’t feel I have anything positive to contribute right now. (I have been physically disabled for years, so I already feel like a burden to my loved ones... but now the depression and anxiety is exponentially increasing that feeling.) So it’s possible that someone may be struggling in their own life and they are ignoring you by accident. {I understand that the premise of this video is ‘being ignored on a general/repeat level’ and how to make changes accordingly. I just wanted to leave a reminder that sometimes the situation is due to another person’s issues instead of yours.} A good phrase to help us all: “Love Yourself.” 보라해 and blessings to you all!💜

I think number 8 is true, I have a friend that always calls me to talk about his day, and I'm usually the one listening and giving advice, it's his choice if he takes it or not. But recently I dominated the conversation, giving opinions and analogies of what I thought was right and wrong, he listened, but I could tell that he got bored pretty fast.

Well, I have not done most of the stuff on this list, yet I have been ignored by everyone anyway. I used to be somewhat needy when I was younger but have since worked on that. I think it is time to realize that some people are just not liked by anyone no matter what they do. Some people are just born or cursed to be alone and unwanted by the whole wide world.

But nowadays people are criticizing everything, hating everyone, and exploiting every opportunity. What is tricky is to impress genuine people and make the good guys accept you. The toxic ones will come at you even if you prefer being ignored.

I always have great conversations with my friends when it’s one on one. But when there’s another friend around or we’re with multiple friends they always choose to talk to the other one and completely ignore me when I say something.
I do the staring first, when the person glances in my direction I greet them and smile. I let them come to me or they don't. Whatever. If they see me and look away, I ignore them too. At least I made the effort. I don't have time for a power struggle.

That's a good point; I think this often happens. Guilt and shame happen without an ability to openly apologize and work through it, so distance happens.

Fake people have tell tell signs like to good to be true and when you really need them they are no where to be found. Plus fake friends gossip about you.
There are many instances where,when I do hang out with people they often discuss things I know nothing about, and I'm afraid to open my mouth and say something, it would ultimately end up being ignorant on my part then I would get ridiculed for it.
Some people just don't recognise the good in you.

Me and my friend planned this big stuff that we were gonna do today. I couldnt wait this whole week. We were gonna invite in 3 other old friends, and catch up with them and do something funny was like on my mind the whole week. It wasnt even my idea to do this, it was my friend's. At first I didnt wanna do it but after a conversation with my friend we decided to do it. Now I have called this friend wanna be thousand times through out the week and twice today, he never once answered or called back. I am so stupid to ever trust him and get my hopes up. I was supposed to be spending the best saturday ever. I thought we were close friends but he only calls me when needs somethin. I am so so do sad.
Sometimes people just rhetorically say they are going to do something to reap the emotion at the moment they are saying it.
It's only an idea but they have no intention of actioning it. They lack respect, integrity and empathy when they involve someone else in the discussion and don't follow through or communicate changes.

I get ignored all the time. Thirty-three years, to be exact. I have been working on my filmmaking career. It is slowly going well so far. I have a feeling that the people who have ignored me now, will probably start talking to me when I actually become famous in my filmmaking career. If that happens, I will be the one ignoring them and move on.
Their see you very successful and getting rewards haters "especially jealous people" will leave you instead sticking around seeing you getting praised...that's why their ignored you.
Is their a reward for proving your point,then why make a comment,at the end of the day it's your word against theirs,is anyone gonna act on it in daily life,do you feel that you affected the outcome in any way✔💰
What happened to me, often things where promised and afterwards no response. If you let people play you, your simply a trick or a joke. But becoming you’re own person is the key! I just nowadays don’t give a shit no more!
I learned something about this world: "The more you enable, the more "friends" you have." People tend to gravitate to those that tend to fawn and people please. The more you stand up for what you really think, as strong as it may be? The more people keep a distance and you become intimidating.

I couldn't agree more.I am not here to prove anything to anybody.I would rather be content with my own company than surrounded by a hundred fair weather "friends".I am a mature, loving,rational and well balanced person with tons of interests and self respect and I'm just not willing to spend my life whining about about who does and doesn't "like me".I am fine with one or two deep meaningful and close people who can look a little deeper into the values of a genuine person other than what's frivolous or surface.Being there and appreciating someone for loyalty,things in common mutually and enjoying their personality just for that is the bigger picture.If you like me in your life then chances are I do the same.I just have no tolerance for gameplayers,users or manipulators in my life and at 58 there are finer things.Be real or go jerk somebody else's chain.This presentation is (to me) sophomoric and way to simplistic and quick to cause someone some undue needless feelings of being the majority of the "problem" as to why they "must " be defective in some way.Nurture and develope your good qualities,try your best to live a decent respectful life you can be proud of and the people who have heart to see and know the genuine "you" will find you.The creators of this channel could do with a bit more qualified research...and a dictionary for pronunciation of words like "lackadaisical"...it does nothing for your sense of credibility..
@@kimberlypatton1810 totally agree with you. I noticed that sophomoric or immature feeling since I read the title of the video, and wanted to see if people were really digging this. It makes me sad when others try to reduce human relationships (any kind) to a list of "do's and don'ts". This only makes people feel inadequate for being who they are. I think it's all about finding people who actually appreciate you and who you can really appreciate as well. It's hard work, maybe that's the reason why many fall into these type of videos trap.

Yes do love yourself because you’re a work of art made in the image of God and are precious whoever and wherever you are. In everything else love God and all men but don’t expect everyone to love and like you. You don’t need hundreds of friends. Remember to keep learning and listening. Remember the world is run through an image of what you should be but it’s superficial be yourself with you’re own views but accept others have their and may not agree this is just human discussion. Think about how you like to be treated and remember this in your relationships. All of us are boring to some and interesting to others ,take some knocks, keep learning and developing we are all truly the same and each situation is unique but never become downhearted for you are truly special and blessed.

THIS ACTUALLY APPLIES TO FAMILY MEMBERS AS WELL! Your Family Can Be Even More Judgmental, Because They Want The Best For You Unless You Are Actually Doing Better Than Them. Best to continue on improving yourself when they don’t respond. Never talk about what you want to achieve, instead let them just experience it with their eyes through your actions not words. The key word is CONFIDENCE. People loose it often throughout their lives from a variety factors to long to list. When they dip below this confident plateau, many people will drag down anybody they can along with them.
In relationships TD Jake's said "if people can walk away from you let them walk cause you're destiny is not tied to the people who left you." I realized I've been taken advantage of, disrespectful towards me and I'm always giving don't know how to take. Lessons in life what goes around comes around. People treat you badly other people will do the same to them. I'm blessed no matter what in my daily life. I'm blessed so are you. Never forget that! You're blessed!

i do not have any problems being ignored by almost everyone. it doesn't hurt me being ignored by all people. i do not want to attract any attention and it would be best for me being alone. i do not want to be famous. its okay to have a few real friends than having so many fake friends. there are better things left unsaid and being ignored is not hurtful. maltreatment, rude, harsh people, plastics people and betrayal is hurtful. i get used to being alone, at peace with silence than to spend with people you know that its only faking the conversation and friends that would betray you later on. i am uncomfortable when other people giving me too much attention and is looking at me for no reason. it is better to be ignored than having unwanted too much attention.
Trying to hard will attract the wrong kind of people. Its best to seek out ones who share common interests. So be it.

As people in my life ignore me, I don't chase after them. I'm only wanted if they want to borrow my tools, or give them a lift somewhere, so now I have no friends at all. They have shown their true colours. The only people I want in my life are my grownup son and daughter. Everyone I come into contact with are now just acquaintances. I keep people at arms length. I've had a life time of being used.
