When I started listening to Nightwish with Floor, for me each new song just got better and better. I think this is not the last song that you will call the best)

Had to wait for 30 years before a worthy band to pick up the progressive mantel appeared Symphonic metal at it's best.
Tuomas Holopainen is a master of his craft and the bands interpretation is flawless

I'm a Floyd fan as well and it wasn't till Nightwish that I was equally impressed. Sure, there were other bands that were great, but not THIS great. I think you'd like Jinjer as well, their instrumentals are amazing and Tatiana is an amazing singer as well. Quite a bit different from Nightwish, but certainly top tier.

@@iangianni Their compositions are amazing as well, just not full bore orchestrations that Tuomas makes. I'd say they're the Rush to Nightwish's Floyd.

Nightwish songs are TOP but the sensations that Floor transmits through her voice and stage performance are out of this world! Love the shirt, go LIONS!!!! Greets from Portugal.
I think what's so attractive about Floor is her confidence , she owns any stage she's on. Confidence is such a beautiful thing to wear! so be confident people!!

Floor isent singing on the Album version. thats why the live version is so mutch better

It's her musicality that is getting you Fable. She uses the correct technique at the correct time to enhance the lyrics and the emotional impact of the music itself.
Realistically, she could have probably been much "bigger" by singing in another genre. But she chose rock/metal, and for that she has our undying loyalty and respect. Throw her in front of Toumas's genius and the others? It's perfection, if not approaching God like.
She was on a Dutch t.v. show called "Beste Zangers" and went in as a relative unknown in her country, even though with Nightwish she had outsold EVERY OTHER ARTIST on the show. She proceeded to not only wow the others, but make them cry on multiple occasions. She left as a super star, and rightly so.
Sorry other genres, but she's ours. Don't worry, we'll let you come visit and bask in the awesomeness that is Floor and Nightwish; because we're that badass.
That's what I say, everytime I listen to nightwish. THIS IS MY FAVORITE SONG. Get use to it, need to play more it's unbelievable how good they are. GREAT REACTION

I love watching Emppu's smile as he surveys the audience. Every time I see his reactions from Wacken, I think to myself that this is someone that knows his band, and in particular Floor, has the audience eating from the palms of their hands. The audience is beyond lit, and the band is feeding on that and they put on one of the best live performances I have ever seen. I am so glad it has been saved for posterity's sake. If I have one regret in life, it was missing out on being at this concert!

Nightwish & Floor energizes me, motivates me, moves me to tears, helps me get my aggression out, or makes me love human ingenuity & spirit; whatever I need, there seems to be a song for my mood, with so many different styles and emotions in them. Once in a lifetime band.
I've tried (purely out of academic interest) to analyze that "something" that Floor has. Voice, beauty, honesty...these are all self-evident. But I'm going to throw something else into the mix.
Animal magnetism.

I believe it's Charisma

Dear Fable, you must give yourself that experience to dive into the Nightwish Universe - you have only scratched the surface until now.
Just follow the setlist from the Wacken 2013 concert, and skip those you already have done.
There is not one bad tone in the whole concert - you might do ir as double sessions, to capture the mood.
By doing so, you will discover the evolution in the band, when you move on to Wembley, Tampere and Buenos Aires - and Human Nature.
In Wacken 2013 Floor only sang old songs, not written to her incredible voice - she had made them her own versions for sure. On the newer concerts, she sings songs written for her capabilities and power - and so does Marco and Troy - these 3 in harmonious crescendos are unbelievable - and that becomes obvious due to the evolution the band went into, when Floor and Troy joined in.

Wacken is def on my bucket list. I've seen nightwish twice but sadly I haven't seen them with Floor.
If you want to know how versatile she is you should watch her performances on the 2019 Beste Zangers show. She sang the Phantom of the Opera which did become epic. And the song "about love I do not know a thing" making everyone cry.

After that, you have Marco's voice to fall in man-love with. The Islander at Tampere and Kiss While Your Lips Are Still Red at Wembley.

Floor is such a powerhouse of a singer, so much beauty (in and out), charisma and talent in one body, that attracts us to her inevitably, also her ability to tell the stories just the way Tuomas wanted to express them when he wrote the songs

Esta vai em tuga .apesar de não gostar dessa camisola , continua o mesmo trabalho para não ter de ver outra vez nightwish no coliseu como em 2016, foi quase uma desilusão depois de ter estado neste show ( wacken 2013).em lisboa o show foi espetacular mas o som estava uma merda ( tá no youtube e não só por o video ser mau tem a ver com a acústica e ressonância do Pavilhão ) continua e da próxima vez quero Nightwish no Atlântico ou pode ser no teu estádio vi grandes concertos lá. Fica bem e espero que não sejas campeão kkkkk .e esta não é a melhor musica de nightwish, já foi uma das melhores e já saiu do meu top ten . Mas continua e depois de fazeres todo o wacken 2013 , wembley 2915 , tampere 2015 e buenos aires 2018 vais concluir que ...
