I'm from the UK. When you look at how many great solo artists, bands, and albums our small island has produced (the size of Ohio and one-fifth of the US population) I am so proud.
@@ICLight412 And blues has its roots in African music... Sorry I thought we were making irrelevant comments to shoehorn black achievement into any possible crevice of a conversation. Unless you'd like to be disingenuous and claim you hear and undercurrent of African influence in British rock. Imagine if you actually looked around and realised white people created the world you live in. What day is it tomorrow? Thursday? And where did that originated from? 😂😂😂
The United Kingdom have had, and still do, the most influential, inspirational, and iconic bands in the history of music, that this list would be endless, while also being added to year on year, that our nations hold no bounds to who we create next. Not bad for these small little islands is it 😉
I’ve just listened to the 2023 remaster, I sat and just listened to it, mainly with my eyes closed. It is still perfect, and I’m astounded how it sounds like it was recorded just yesterday, not FIFTY years ago!!

@@elemar5 I saw one called The UK Pink Floyd experiance 4 years ago. They are amazing they all play wonderful and they have a great light and slide show as well.
they neglected to mention The Prodigy, in the early 90s this band just tore up the rulebook and dayum was it good. (edit: i went to this event, it was truly mindbending > The Prodigy Live Milton Keynes Bowl 24.07.2010)
I'm a massive Maiden fan and The Prodigy, Massive Attack, I would add The Sweet in there, too. But I do love all these (mostly already mentioned) Bands/Groups, which are great English bands like The Beatles, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac, Queen, T-Rex, The Kinks, The Clash, The Cure, Oasis, ELO (Jeff Lynne, who is a musical freak) Radiohead, Def Leppard, The Animals (with) "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood", and of course with their "The House of the Rising Sun", The Sweet, Sweet "fox on the run, Ballroom Blitz and some of their heavier song, too,....ect There are so very many to go through) Okay I do have a soft spot for the Spice Girls, too, lol My favourite Girls band, which isn't hard;-P
Milton Keynes was the best gig I've ever been to, and probably ever will. Hearing them do Weather Experience was surreal, as they hadn't done it live for about 18 years
Although an excellent selection, this list barely scratches the surface of iconic British bands. Would be really good if you do some more reactions- there is so much,, you'd be spoilt for choice!👍🇬🇧
My wife was lucky enough to interview Mick Jagger when she was a Radio Journalist about 10 years ago. She said he was an utter gent & treated her better than most in her career. What a guy 👌
I would of had The Clash with London's Calling in there. That album kick started so many other bands all over the world. And songs from it have been covered by so many artists.
I instantly thought what about The Clash and also The Stranglers and Squeeze, T-Rex, and many more great bands not listed. But I suppose if you are only picking 10 you have to miss a lot out.
If you can have solo artists like David Bowie, then I would argue that Kate Bush's Hounds of Love was massively influential to a lot of the alternate acts that started out in the late eighties and early nineties. Oasis were extremely popular but I've not really heard many songwriters stating that they were a major influence on their work. So if influence is the measuring stick, I'm not convinced Oasis should make the list.
The rock acts that are billed as a solo artist are a mixed bag. Some have a steady lineup and even have songwriting credits on the albums, others bring various people on from time to time. Stevie Ray Vaughn got his first big exposure on Bowie's Let's Dance, but wasn't a steady part of his lineup. But the steady ones should qualify like bands.
@@elemar5 Nah, it's a solo Bowie album. Spiders from Mars were the imaginary Ziggy's backing band (though Bowie did of course have a backing band who 'played' the Spiders)
For a small island we definitely punch well above our weight. I could list another hundred UK albums and bands that hold their own and have been copied around the world. Slowthai's latest album, Ugly, is doing it for me at the mo'. Feel Good is a great song/vid'. One album I have to mention, Massive Attack's Blue Lines. It introduced the world to Trip Hop, a Bristol scene like Seattle was to Grunge, and the track Unfinished Sympathy is now a classic.
@@lewilewis3944 The wild bunch were what massive attack called themself before they became massive attack and they had and still have a graffiti artist in the band who was originally called 3D.
I don't know if you realise it, but Fleetwood Mac was originally a British band. It became a British/American band when they included Lindsay Buckingham and Stevie Nicks. Stevie and Christine Mc Vie (keyboard player and fellow song writer) became fast friends. Stevie was heart broken when her friend Christine died 💔

Def Leppard are indeed from Sheffield, England. Honestly there are too many great British bands to mention, could be listing them for ages. But since I'm from Sheffield, I shall add Arctic Monkeys, Pulp and Human League.
King Crimson album In the court Of The Crimson King was very influentual in regards of Progressive music. The opening song was mind blowing at the time. The rest was kind of peaceful but at times frantic jazzy sounds Maybe Cream deserve a mention with their album Disraeli Gears, Jethro Tull Songs from the Wood kind of english Folky but with lotsof inventive lyrics and playing.
stinkpooter ... Yes king Crimson and other bands of similar ilk at that time had some fantastic music, musical poetry much of it, magical/fantasy stories to music.
Manchester had a lot of bands. The Smiths, Joy Division, Happy Mondays, Elbow, The Stone Roses, Oasis to name a few. But it is crazy how many amazing bands come from this little Island. Even new bands like Wet Leg are so good.
I agree new bands and definitely Wet Leg are up and coming. Wet Leg having won a couple of Brit Awards and Grammys in 2023, pegs the way for their future, I hope. I watched a few of their videos and liked their music. At over a half century old, I still find that new sounds can be found and enjoyed!
I know Rod Stewart had the Faces. Elton John had his band. Hollies, ..he ain't heavy, symbol of the Vietnam war. Kinks, you really got me. One of the first guitar rock tracks. T,rex with Mark Bolen ,Duran Duran, Genesis,Police. E..L.O , Supertramp , Roxy Music, Fleetwood Mac (half) Deep Purple, Moody Blues ..etc.. can go on forever.

Spice girls was just manufactured drivel. Didn't break any new ground, like muchnof modern pop it was manufactured to be "safe" using paterns already established that people are familiar with to make "instant hits" no different to any of the other manufactured bands (boyzone, take that, five, 5sos, one direction, and so on)
I feel like The Cure’s Disintegration was hugely influential to many band and artists around at the moment. I am surprised it didn’t get into the honourable mentions
Absolutely. Well probably have to wait until The Cure finally split up or Robert dies for true appreciation of such a stunning album. Remember this album won many album of the year awards in an extremely sting year for music(Pixies:Doolittle,Stone Roses:S/T, New Order:Technique an so on)
Nobody could argue that all the albums on this list were hugely influential. Nevertheless, if we're listing the albums which made huge novel strides and are claimed by many other bands to have influenced their sound the most, surely 10cc's eponimous first album, Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells, and Supertramp's Breakfast in America should each be mentioned. Of the Beatles albums, I suggest that The White Album broke more new ground than any other from the Fab Four.
Don't know about 10cc's first, although I do remember a couple of singles off of it. Personally it was 'Sheet Music' for me but if any were influential, surely it would have been 'The original soundtrack'? People seem to have forgotten how big this album and the band were at the time? To be fair, many have forgotten Mike Oldfield too, perhaps they should re-release 'The Exorcist' as a reminder how good it was?
Massive fan of the early 10cc stuff, very ahead of it's time! I think "how Dare you" is probably my favourite LP though (mainly for Mandy)... I recently inherited my dad's vinyl collection and got to listen to them all again as I first heard them when I was a kid. Actually all of the ones you mentioned are in there :) "Yes" deserves a mention too!
The Who “Who’s next or,Tommy”Peter Frampton “Frampton comes alive”Great bands such as The Kinks,Muse,Yes,Cream,Eric Clapton ,The Police,Elvis Costello,Genesis, etc.A lot great music across the pond.I’ve been into various British music movements for decades.I think the production on many English band albums are superior.

Considering how many albums there are to choose from this is a good list. I do think The Bends or OK Computer (Radiohead) should be included on the main list because they came smack in the middle of Britpop & shook things up. They were incredible live - especially when they headlined Glastonbury in the '90s & the monitors went down but noone in the audience realised.
A lot there, but no Deep Purple? No Dire Straits? Gerry and the Pacemakers? Cliff Richard and the Shadows? Cream and Fleetwood Mac? The Who and The Kinks? the Moody Blues? Status Que, Fairport Convention, ELO, Depeche Mode, Spandau Ballet, Duran Duran, Coldplay, it is a very deep well.
For impact and getting banned Frankie Goes To Hollywood and RELAX and their first time on The Tube was a moment ! And Jimmy Summerville's Smalltown Boy had some impact, without actually getting banned
Because we are such a small island musicians were and are constantly crossing paths with each other, so there is a constant mixing of talent. It's quite common to find major artists who have at one time or another played in the same band. So much cross fertilisation is bound to raise the levels.
I have been listening to music since the 50s but didn't really get into it until the British Invasion (ca 1964). I recently made a list of my favorite bands or musicians of all time, roughly in order at the top. Of my favorite 15, one is Canadian, one Irish, and the rest British. I owe so much to that country (not to mention the writers).
Loved this, really interesting who they chose and who they left out. I was lucky enough to join the Bristol Police (Anon and Somerset Constabulary UK) in 1975 and in 1976 the Rolling Stones came to the Ashton Gate stadium to do a concert and I was on duty posted behind the band on the stage. It was mind blowing. I now live across the Mersey from Liverpool, home to our amazing and much loved Beatles, and by chance my 'O' Level school exam at 16 for art was partly to do a painting based on Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds! So glad I grew up in an age where music was written and made, not just pumped out of a computer.
While there is plenty of maufactured junk out there, there are still true artists plying their trade. I recommend checking out Ren if you don't think there is any written and made music anymore.

Skunk Anansie are so underrated and relatively forgotten 🔥 Garbage were American bar Shirley but great band Massive Attack and The Prodigy were outstanding too
Of course there are great rock bands and artists around the world and many are certainly American, but in my opinion when it comes to rock, the greatest producer of talent is the UK.
Progressive bands like Pink Floyd, their albums are a journey according to the setting of the tracks from start to finish. There's a number of bands that came after Floyd that does this such as Nine Inch Nails and Tool. As for the double guitars, I can see the practicality of them as instrument tuning can change from song to song and for Zeppelin to use one for their Stairway to heaven. They would have to have breaks in the song for the guitarist to swap guitars.
I've owned probably half these albums in the last 50+ years. Oh, the "that's a long ass song, like 12 minutes". I suggest you look closely at Emerson, Lake, and Palmer, the album cut of "Karn Evil 9" is 29 minutes and 32 seconds. The live cut is over 35. A lot of their stuff was 20 plus minutes. Yes is another band that put out 15 to 30 minute masterpieces.
Very surprised The Who was not in the list, if anyone has watched any episode of CSI on TV (CSI, CSI Miami, CSI New York, CSI New Orleans, CSI Cyber) then you will have heard a Who song as all the theme tunes are by The Who :-) not that they are only famous for then :-)
As a Beatles fan I would add all their albums, because all of them were original. The cake on Let It Bleed was the work of a cook, who became one of the most famous British television cooks, Delia Smith. Look for her books, it good basic cookery and she also published books on basic cooking skills and how to save money by using pre prepared ingredients. Dark Side Of The Moon is one of the best selling albums of all time, so many people have a copy, including me.
I enjoyed your reaction thoroughly and was pleasantly surprised with your knowledge and passion. Most of these groups 'hit singles' do not approach doing justice the the breadth and depth of their art over their albums ... Bowie's 70's work, Sabbaths 70's albums , Zeppelin of course. The only fly in the ointment for me was Oasis who i agree had a popular sound, instantly recognizable, but for me there's was a small body of work and that was one dimensional in my view, nothing like the multi dimensional group the Beatles who inspired them. Well done
it annoys me when i hear haters say "Queen are over rated", they obviously have never listened to the first 6 albums, sure if all they've heard is radio gaga and 'break free they would think that but Queen 2, sheer heart attack and a night at the opera has some amazing stuff on it 👑✊🇬🇧

I have an American friend who is fanatical about British music and regards it as the best. I don't think that there is a single British band or artist that he dislikes. He does seem to have a special obsession about The Clash and The Cure.
The main reason Brit pop made such an impact in the US is because of video in the 80s. Back when music made its way over to video format it became immensely popular all over the western world and at the fore front of that in the US was MTV. In Britain we already had a head start with music videos thanks largely to a show called Top of the Pops and when MTV rolled out there were hardly any US bands with music videos and all of the most popular stuff on MTV was Brit pop. At one point 9/10 of the top songs in the US were by British bands which is testiment to how much a music video sold an artists work.
They missed Hawkwind, their album A Space Ritual Alive In Liverpool And London is considered by many to be the best live album ever recorded, the six panel fold out cover is hands down the best ever. Johnny Rotten said there would have been no Sex Pistols without Hawkwind's song Brainstorm. Lemmy also started playing bass with them around that time.
Agreed. Electric Warrior is a great album and I actually prefer the b sides and album tracks from T.Rex from Cosmic Dancer, Thunderwing, Rabbit Fighter to Dandy in the Underworld, Cadillac and Rapids. So many great songs. KALMIYH.

How about the Kinks - a wide range of groundbreaking musical styles (incl. original proto punk over a decade before the sex pistols) - example: "KINKS" You Really Got Me (1964)
In the 'New Wave' category I probably would've picked Eurythmics over The Smiths. I was in High School and College during the 80s and you were WAY more likely to hear and listen to the Eurythmics over The Smiths. I always thought of them as kind of a niche 'weak-goth band,' same with The Cure (as opposed to 'true goth' like Bauhaus and Sisters of Mercy). Depeche Mode would also fit the bill better for that time period. Just my opinion though. I do have albums by ALL of those bands and like them quite a lot.
One of the video clips was from a show called "The Old Grey Whistle Test" which was a very popular late night musice show when I was growing up (LOL - showing my age). The show had all kinds of bands and solo singers on, and you should go look up videos of the show. I think you would be amazed at what around in those days.
I am from St Helens which is about 10 miles from Liverpool. One day I was working next door to where Paul McCartney grew up! Lots of tourists where in the street at the time. But the best part about it was, the customer used to date Paul and told us stories all day. She had lived there all her life! Her photos of them where fantastic and John, George , Pete Best then Ringo. The job should of taken 2hrs but we was there for about 5hrs ! 🤣 what brilliant day.
It helped that we speak the same language. House of the rising sun was considered to be a Bob Dylan song before the animals did it and after Bob said he couldn't sing it again because it was now an animals song but before Bob used to sing it somebody else did but I can't remember who it was. The beatles were without doubt the most influential group the world has ever seen and I consider Queen to be the best live group thats ever lived. How many Americans thought some of these were american groups? I enjoyed the post and agree that the Spice girls changed the girls music scene... Girl power.
@@azzajames7661 That's certainly the most well known version. Originally an American folk song, it is thought to have been written by Georgia Turner and Bert Martin. Many artists have covered the song over the years with variations on the lyrics.

Can't argue with any of the selections, though I'm not a massive Smiths or Sex Pistols fan. It would have been nice to have had something from Eric Clapton/Derek & The Dominos (Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs), Dire Straits (Brothers in Arms), and possibly some newer stuff (Dizzee Rascal's debut album changed British music more than most on the list, even if that's not a popular opinion).
House of the Rising Sun is a very popular cover song because no one knows who wrote it, so the songwriters royalties go to the person who arranged it for the recording. If you were to record House of the Rising Sun and were down as the performer and arranger, you would be entitled to both the performance and songwriters royalties if it was released and made any money.

You should react to a British crowd singing bohemian rhapsody at the green day gig warm up in England, this is how you learn how we know from birth how to sing together. Many US artists live playing the UK because our audiences are so different, we are born with a primal live of singing together

Not quite. A great many British acts draw their influences from much closer to home and are uniquely un-American - and without that awful nasal-twang either.

Iron Maiden? Brilliant but, did any of their albums change music forever? Probably not as they were just a later part of that new wave of British Heavy metal as band like Judas Priest were earlier and were of the same genre. With The Animals, you're right.
It was David Bowie and his backing band, The Spiders From Mars.
I agree regarding oasis. They didn't influence but we're imitators (of the beatles). Imitators bring nothing new so don't influence anything much.
Oasis influenced so much of popular music, Coldplay etc… they might be hated for their attitude but they’re early music was brilliant

But I do love all these (mostly already mentioned) Bands/Groups, which are great English bands like The Beatles, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac, Queen, T-Rex, The Kinks, The Clash, The Cure, Oasis, ELO (Jeff Lynne, who is a musical freak) Radiohead, Def Leppard, Deep Purple, 10cc, The Animals (with) "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood", and of course with their "The House of the Rising Sun", The Sweet, Sweet "fox on the run, Ballroom Blitz and some of their heavier song, too,....ect
There are so very many to go through)
Okay I do have a soft spot for the Spice Girls, too, lol My favourite Girls band, which isn't hard;-P
Shout out for Genesis. Their line-up changed quite a lot, and this changed their music.
Joy Division, Blur, Massive Attack, New Order, Prodigy
I was also going to say Fleetwood Mac, but their lead singer is American so 🤷♂️ why stretch when there's far more
Hi, guys. Just found you. Great stuff! The House of the Rising Sun was first sung by Clarence Ashley a US singer way back can you believe in 1933!!! JT...you have GOT to listen to David Bowie's albums. ALL OF THEM!
OMG - you MUST listen to Ziggy Stardust - the entire album. And of course, Pink Floyd and Sgt Peppers. Oh, and PLEASE do not mention that girl group in this list - they do not belong anywhere near it.
We are such a small island but we have incredible musicians and our music has shaped the music industry for decades.
The Beatles, as you said the best in the world, still killing it.
I have an American friend who is fanatical about British music and regards it as the best. I don't think that there is a single British band or artist that he dislikes. He does seem to have a special obsession about The Clash and The Cure.
I had Status Quo from Whitehaven to Newcastle and back again a grand total of 180 miles
That's a perfectly reasonable obsession.
Well your American friend sounds like a smart guy ask him what he thinks of Echo And The Bunnymen.
Yay I'm so glad The Beatles was at number 1 ☺️☺️☺️
David Bowie and the man sold the world and Heroes are awesome songs, too;-)
The Clash's London Calling should've been on this list
All these American reactions videos make me laugh so much...I'm not sure if it's American ignorance or education ..but it's an eye opener for sure
That’s not so what happened in the 60’s was earth shattering music was never the same again.
What about UFO: Strangers in the Night or Motorhead: No Sleep Till Hammersmith!
Love the way you both started nodding at exactly the right time during Bohemian Rhapsody!
Nodding off?
Best bands from the UK. It’s because we rock!!!!
So many missed but one that is one of my favourites is T.rex. So many great songs.
Agreed. Electric Warrior is a great album and I actually prefer the b sides and album tracks from T.Rex from Cosmic Dancer, Thunderwing, Rabbit Fighter to Dandy in the Underworld, Cadillac and Rapids. So many great songs. KALMIYH.
Yes, T.Rex were amazing.
Yeah ! The Slider
Here's my personal list, I was a teenager in the 90s so there's some big influences from then...
10) Parklife - Blur
09) Physical Graffiti - Led Zeppelin
08) Untrue - Burial
07) Dig Your Own Hole - The Chemical Brothers
06) Maxinquaye - Tricky
05) Happy Songs for Happy People - Mogwai
04) OK Computer - Radiohead
03) Protection - Massive Attack
02) Low - David Bowie
01) Dummy - Portishead
America ruled the music scene before the Beatles. But since then, the UK have always been ahead
One of the video clips was from a show called "The Old Grey Whistle Test" which was a very popular late night musice show when I was growing up (LOL - showing my age). The show had all kinds of bands and solo singers on, and you should go look up videos of the show. I think you would be amazed at what around in those days.
The Spice Girls could have made the list but I'm not sure it goes as far as 837.
Girl power.
Nobody knows who originally wrote House of the Rising Sun. It's why it's such a popular song to cover. Full royalties!
It say it was written by Alan Price of The Animals.
@@azzajames7661 That's certainly the most well known version. Originally an American folk song, it is thought to have been written by Georgia Turner and Bert Martin. Many artists have covered the song over the years with variations on the lyrics.
@meehan666googlemail Even Alan Price, who is credited writing the song, has said it's an old English folk song, which could have been taken to the original 13 colonies, now know as the usa by Great Britain.
@@azzajames7661 Yeah, that's possible I guess. Americans have a habit of claiming British creations.
If you’ve ever watched the program ‘Charmed’ which is about three sisters who are witches the theme of that the Original series, which is called ‘How soon is now’ is actually the Smiths.
programme
Dire Straights should have been on here
I agree
Dire Straits
Seriously...if you like Dire Straits that much, you'd have spelt their name correctly.
I had a contractor from the USA working with me in New Zealand about 30 years ago. "I'm blown away by the number of
Americans playing on New Zealand radio" she said. "Who are your favorites?" I asked. She said, "George Michael, Dire Straits, The Rolling Stones, Paul Macartney"............
The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Moody Blues, Cream, Fleetwood Mac, Sex Pistols, The Clash, David Bowie, Roxy Music, Status Quo, Def Leppard, Elton John, Mike Oldfield, Rod Stewart, 10CC, The Police, George Michael, Tears For Fears, Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, Kate Bush, The Smiths, The Cure, ELO, Duran Duran, Culture Club, Eurythmics, Massive Attack, Portishead, Goldfrapp, Queen, Genesis, Oasis, Blur, Radiohead, The Spice Girls, Pulp, Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay, Muse, Amy Winehouse, Ed Sheeran, Adele. No country bats as much above their weight as the Brits.
Think I had to pick up my jaw when you both said you hadn't heard a David Bowie song. 😮
justice for Stereophonics!! my absolute favourite band
Superb
More honorable mentions. Duran Duran, Kasabian and UB40
Space Oddity by David Bowie is one of the best songs of all time, hell its the song playing in the Tesla out in space on repeat
Cream, Fleetwood Mac, Yes......the list is endless
House of the Rising Sun is a very popular cover song because no one knows who wrote it, so the songwriters royalties go to the person who arranged it for the recording.
If you were to record House of the Rising Sun and were down as the performer and arranger, you would be entitled to both the performance and songwriters royalties if it was released and made any money.
It say it was written by Alan Price of The Animals.
@@azzajames7661 It wasn't written by him but arranged by him. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_House_of_the_Rising_Sun
You learn something new every day!🤯
"The 1975" is my favourite British band at the moment, even though I am 80 years old. Rock on Dudes!
I'm 56 and have to agree, I've seen them 3 times and at first wasn't a fan till I took my daughter to see them, been a fan since 😂 There is nothing original out there these days and The 1975 cornered that market.
You should react to a British crowd singing bohemian rhapsody at the green day gig warm up in England, this is how you learn how we know from birth how to sing together. Many US artists live playing the UK because our audiences are so different, we are born with a primal live of singing together
How can you get the word love wrong twice in one comment?
@@elemar5 Cocaine!
Great vid guys... You need to do an American version soon. I grew up in a tiny English village on a diet of Tamla Motown . Detroit the motor city, home of the hits!
Who could forget the Proclaimers??? I would walk 500 miles to see them live...
And I would would walk 500 more, to buy tickets
@@LordEriolTolkien I'd be the man who walked a thousand miles to avoid being on the same continent as those two rangas ;)
@@michaelcottle6270 I agree
Seeing them again in June; I'm driving though 😉
@@richardlawrence6619 Hiya Richard, The Proclaimers play Sands Centre at Carlisle every year, they say its a very good night
Im a true Brit and proud of our great bands but i have to acknowledge the real inluences of the British invasion and they were mostly from your amazing America rythmn and blues artists from the decade before.Ever wondered how the rolling stones got their name....it was from Muddy Waters song rolling Stone. Ever wondered how Pink Floyd got that name .. .they are named after two blues singers Pink Anderson and Floyd Council . Led Zeppelins early stuff like when the levee breaks and whole lotta love wer all covers of blues songs .America has always led the way, we just copied it and sent it back over.
Not quite. A great many British acts draw their influences from much closer to home and are uniquely un-American - and without that awful nasal-twang either.
Sheffield has produced some of the greatest bands you’ll ever hear, world famous, you named Def Leppard straight away, but there’s Arctic Monkeys, Pulp, Human League, The Thompson Twins, ABC, Reverend & the makers, Joe Cocker, Heaven 17, Babybird, Moloko, Living In A Box.. etc.. The latest upcoming band to be making strides is ‘The Sherlocks’ give them a listen, they’re amazing!
Bring me the horizon aswell
@@lisacox3435 yes of course, Bring me the horizon are awesome! 🙌
Also Longpigs and Richard Hawley.
I thought Supertramp were only underrated in North America, apparently their home Country as well! Roger Hodgson is devastatingly under valued! His music moves my soul. Lyrics are wonderful. I mean who else writes “Do as they tell u too, dont want the devil to come and pull out your eyes” that’s magical shit right there. “Crime of the Century would be one of my 3 desert island choices.
Thank you for creating this Video btw!❤
Totally agree Supertramp should be in that list
Yeah, Supertramp are massively under appreciated.
@@denisemackay1411 Have you seen the Breakfast in America/mirror trick?

The Birmingham Royal Ballet and Black Sabbath have got together and created a ballet around their music. Can't wait. Already got the tickets and earplugs for the wife.
This is the coolest thing i've ever heard
Ballet dancers wear boots and you gotta believe me! I saw it, I saw it with my own two eyes. 🤣🤣

Geri Halliwell began dating Christian Horner, the team principal of the Red Bull Racing Formula One team, in February 2014. They announced their engagement on 11 November 2014 and the couple were married on 15 May 2015 at St Mary's Church in Woburn, Bedfordshire, England.
Born Geraldine Estelle Halliwell, so almost Adele.
Not even close.
I 100% guarantee you know more Bowie than you realise. Space Oddity, Changes, Hero’s, Lets dance. There are a ton
Heroes
The Smiths did the song that was the intro to the show Charmed, called How Soon Is Now. I didn’t hear them in the UK until then tbh
Iron Maiden? Brilliant but, did any of their albums change music forever? Probably not as they were just a later part of that new wave of British Heavy metal as band like Judas Priest were earlier and were of the same genre. With The Animals, you're right. At least with the early stuff, much was re-arranged American Blues bought to the masses.
Up The Irons \m/, but I fully concur. Great Sound: Influential > within metal
Love your vids lad. Noticed Ana loves Sgt Pepper's. I actually live 2 minute walk away from there and Penny Lane. I also went to the same schools as them in Liverpool too but 20 years after. If you ever come to Liverpool let me know, I'll get us some tickets for a Liverpool match and take you and Ana on a Beatles tour and a night out. Love to you both x
