Floor could sing the songs that were composed for the two former singers and most fans thought she did it even better. The recording of this Storytime was in Wacken about ten months after Floor started to sing with this band, but actually she was still not a member of this band and she still was the lead singer of Revamp.

Where much music (metal or other) is formulatic (guitar riffs and drum solos) Nightwish is anything but. Everyone does what is needed without having to be the “star”. Floor may be the front person and perceived as the star but she totally realizes and appreciates that it is the presence of all of them performing together at the very highest level that creates the Nightwish vibe and excellence. Floor as the earlier two singers in Nightwish is all scooled sopranos. You should go and listen to Sabaton and their song Bismarck. Sabaton has a true historical background behind all their sings, you can read about them. Then listen to the song Christmas truce. Their song No bullets fly (animated) the story behind the song comes in the end. Fun fact, Nightwish singer Floor Jansen is married to the drummer in Sabaton.
