Ordered my ETS catback from you guys, today I get to put it on my 2020 STI!
That MBRP race exhaust sounds sick. Great videos. man. Stay safe brother.
I have a Cat Back Invidia N1 Burnt Titanium Tips and I’m thinking of installing a Cobb Catted Down Pipe 👌🏽
I've done the axel back myself for less than 100 bucks in stainless steel. I'm doing a catback next by using another 100 bucks worth of stainless steel. My supplier isn't far from my house.
I got the blitz cat back, and it made my wrx quieter
If you have an STI and can’t decide on a catback, here’s all you need to know:
*TOMEI*
whats that. I have an Impreza 2002 wrx
Great info thank you very much
Borla s type exhaust 🤤 sounds the best in my opinion
Yea I got the borla too. It’s awesome, great sound no drone.
Hey there. Really needed your help regards exhaust. I have an 2008 sub forester xt and looking for a louder/performance exhaust and needed ur opinion/tips on different type of exhaust on the market 2day. For loudness as well as pefomance. Hope u see this
Thanks!
This the one 3rd video I seen of the MBRP exhaust on a subie. So I guess it is new to the market?
Do you think I could add a catback exhaust to a 13 Subie Imoreza (non wrx). If so, would it add any HP?.
I’m thinking of getting a invidia r400 ss tips for my wrx sti 2020
I have a 2009 tl dual pipes what is the catback I would need. Dont want loud mufflers just smooth sounding. P.S would I need a resonator ?
Will you guys have another 4th of July sale?
I’m trying to find an exhaust that has more of a smooth rumble or purr instead of the clunky rumble my stock WRX exhaust has. I don’t have any other engine upgrades so this would be for down the road. From what I’ve heard, the Invidia R300 or R400 sound good because they’re not too loud, and not too clunky. But how do I prevent pops in the exhaust? Those annoy me
Do you guys have an axel back for a wrx 2011 what do you guys recomend and exhaust as well
I just got a borla type s on my Sti and it sounds amazing
Hell yeah man I got the borla too it’s sweet
Did you have to tune your car after installing the Borla Catback ?
@@Skicycle407 no tune
Did you delete the resonator and/or muffler on the car in the video?
Are all cat backs compatible with the factory spt exhaust?
When will the tomei titanium exhaust be back in stock?
this may be a stupid question, but do you need a tune for a catback?
Can I just change the mufflers and not have to worry about tuning or anything?
Do I need a tune tho???

MBRP race series is nice
Any disadvantages to a cat back that is 3” to 2.5” piping vs full 3” thru the axle back?
It really depends if it's turboed or not, NA cars rely on back pressure to flow gasses out quickly out of the car, Turbos on the other hand uses a fan. If a car is 3" all the way thru, it would struggle with back pressure, if it's 2.5" all the way through, it would be better for a NA engine, imagine a vacuum or a water hose. IT also depends on what you want, 3" gives it a deeper tone but 2.5 gives it a higher tone. If you are looking for performance, take piping into consideration, if you want auditory benefits, 3" is good. I once got Cat Deletes, 3" Vibrance resonator Resonator and headers, and my 2" stock muffler was farting. After I got an Evil Energy muffler, 2.5 to 3" or 3" to 4" (I forgot) and it sounded way better
Better fuel economy as well
I have a question I have a 2020 Ford Fusion, just got my Resonator and muffler deleted, now I’m thinking about either a cat back or a axel back exhaust. Would I need a muffler on there or a anything I took of on the actually pipe?
Depends on the system you get, but for most if you’re doing a catback, you’ll just need the hangers to still be there, or to buy new ones. For the axelback you’ll need hangers and for the pipe you’re mounting it on to be in a similar spot as the stock one was, or else it will be too far back or forwards, or not even line up with the exhaust cutouts at all.
Hey so who won the axelback exhausts from the "everything you need to know about axelbacks" video? I thought we were going to find out a few days ago and now that I saw this video post I thought it was going to be covered here forsure...please let it be me
Winner will be announced Tuesday.
The welds on titanium are difficult to do and frequently have problems, whether the owner knows it or not.
I have a 2018 jaguar F type 4.02 cylinder I'm looking for a great Maxwell system what would you recommend I need a load louder smoother sound to it
Do cat backs require a tune?
Question: I have a nameless axleback muffler delete, but I am confused do i need to take it off to install the catback system or can I just put a new midpipe non resonator or resonator and would that work? I am just confused can i keep the axleback and just put in a midpipe to achieve that or this is wrong? Please inform me
i think the mid pipe wouldn’t complete the whole exhaust (from the cat back). i personally think u ahould remove the axle back and go with the full catback
What’s the best Headunit upgrade for an 18 STI? I would love one with CarPlay
Kenwood DMX905S is what I got, I love it
Daisata makes a head unit that's insane. I have it on my 2015. May possibly fit a 2019. Give it a look.
I have the dasaita with dsp. It does everything and has been reliable for me so far after 2 months even in the heat. If you have the harmon kardon system you will have to bypass the factory amp.
There is no BEST, every radio has different functions, features, strengths, weaknesses ect... do your own research.
Invidia makes the N1 cat-back that is resonated, and COBB make a resonated/catted J-Pipe. What happens if you used that resonated J-Pipe with the resonated cat-back?
You will get a less raspy tone
Its gonna sound almost stock lol i suggest doing the resonated catback then catted/non-resonated j-pipe
Zaikclon950 thank man! There’s a cop here who believes he’s a car expert and pull drivers over and gives them Vehicle Inspection/Return to Stock Orders. I want good CFM with a subdued exhaust notes.
I have a 2011 Subaru Forester XT. I'm trying to figure out if I should get the Invidia q300 or the Xforce catback system. I'll be using a stock downpipe. Does anyone know which one is quieter?
The q300 is a perfect exhaust for daily driving
What thing makes the driver be able to make the exhaust louder and more quit by a button or app
Valved system costs quite a bit more
does doing a catback exhaust swap require tuning your car? I know an axleback doesn't but I've gotten different answers regarding new exhaust systems and tuning reqs.
Everything I've read says you should get a tune. I assume because of the flow difference doesnt have that expected back pressure. It could throw codes or probably cause some kind of knock or boost issue? idk I'm not a professional haha
Hey I have the same issue, I want to get the invidia r400 catback exhaust for my 2020 Wrx but I’ve gotten mixed responses on whether or not I need a tune beforehand. Did figure out whether or not it needs one?
@@davidalwis5033 for a full catback it sounds like you might need to tune? but I'm not 100% sure. i went axleback for my '19 and its been great so far, no tune.
you dont need a tune, although it would boost power
I have the same question 😂any professionals know the answer?
Do the subispeed v1 headlights leak alot? Like i would have to re seal them myself when i purchase them?
We actually have not had many problems with the Subispeed headlights. Any Subispeed headlights manufactured in 2019+ come with a 3 year warranty as well.
SubiSpeed what about 2017+? If i were to get the v2 headlights, whats the warranty on them?
leak what?
So no performance increase
Wish I got my intermediate without.....
Does anyone know how to solve PO500 2015 WRX
More than likely a bad speed sensor or dirty connection.
First!
I disagree with the volume and drone.. My R400 seems to be quieter than most axlebacks I've heard. This is because most people that get axlebacks go for no mufflers and that the stock wrx midpipe is has no resonators.
If anything, the difference between catbacks and axlebacks are that you're able to produce a lower/deeper tone overall with a catback.
Will these fit a 2.5i
Yes.
That dude is wearing a wacky hat.🤯

My 15 wrx just hit 101k miles 😩
Yeah have u kept it stock what have u done to it any big repairs?
