I learned two things from this clip, 1 that ASMR has a history, and 2, Mumei in a passionate rage is something I could get into and/or listen to similarly to ASMR.
Imagine this entire rant, except delivered in an occasionally-squeaky whisper from somewhere that feels about 5 inches behind your right ear. That's basically the Mumei ASMR experience. :)

These people fail to understand that civilization is chaos sheathed in a gossamer venier of law and order. Bae is the entropy, the static not quite nothing chaos that everything becomes randomly pinging to and fro with little rhyme or reason. Mumei is the duality of man and the chronicle of it. Bae may have carried the plagues but civilization is what allowed it to have such effect.
Magni and Vesper were amazing. Both old school nerds and just extremely passionate about their hobbies. It's unfortunate that they graduated under less than ideal conditions.

I have to add this here to work against the misconception that 90% of the people in the ASMR Video community seem to have... ASMR is not the genre of the video. ASMR is not defined by what people do inside the video. ASMR is the name of the tingly sensation some people experience when watching or listening to ASMR content. This tingly sensation is triggered by specific things, but can be triggered by literally anything that speaks to one of your five senses. Many people experience this feeling when listening to someone else whisper, thats why there are so many "whisper ASMR" videos out there. Anyone can have this sensation this is not exlusive to specific people, but the trigger for this sensation is different for each and everyone so not everyone will experience it from ASMR videos, which is why there are videos out there that say "for people who dont get tingles". Anyone can get those "tingles", for some people its just more difficult than for others. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.

I wonder when Mumei first got into ASMR. The first I heard of it was in 2016 when Rooster Teeth put out a documentary about getting the ASMR sensation from watching a specific head massage.
