@@williamwilkins3084 yes .. obviously not as good as the first 2 but it has its moments.. I don't ever tell anyone to NOT watch a movie as everyone has their own opinion.
Glad to see you didn't wait too long to watch this great sequel. Both films compliment each other perfect and you'd never know that CD2 was done two years later and wasn't filmed immediately after the first since they flow together without much of a hitch. Like both of you, it is difficult to say which one is better since neither are the same. They share similar qualities, but the sequel is a totally different director, which again is crazy to think how well John Cornell copied the visual style, pacing and settings of the Peter Faiman original, and added a bit more humor as well. The one issue I have is that the New York indoor scenes felt more like sets than actual locations from the first movie. That aspect doesn't detract from the overall enjoyment, but the Australian outdoor scenes were better. I totally forgot that Luis Guzmán (from the "Wednesday" series and many other movies and TV shows) and Stephen Root were in this classic. Stephen is the DEI agent Dundee questions in the restroom. This was his literal first acting job and look how his career has skyrocketed after that. I highly recommend watching one of Stephen's superb roles in the all-time classic movie, "Office Space". Loved seeing how much both of you thoroughly enjoyed CD2, as well as any great film. The 80s were an era of wonderful and memorable movies. The 90s as well, but the 80s were my teen years, so I love that era more. :)
Honestly not sure why I hadn't subscribed before now. I've watched a few of your videos. I think seeing you on Pop Culture Crisis put me over the top. Finally subscribed.
Hi, I like your reactions. Have only watched the two Crocodile Dundee’s but enjoyed them. I was thinking, have you thought about the Steven Spielberg classics, “Jaws” and “Close encounters of the Third Kind”? Two great movies from the 70’s. The first was a sort of horror movie and the second a sort of prequel to ET but with a message. Cheers 😊
16:53 No, Bob's dead. Roll back to when Miguel was listening in on Bob's call to Sue. He looks to his associate José who walks out of frame. Then there's the close-up on Miguel's face as you hear a door knocked down, two silenced shots, & a body hitting the floor. The fact that you only hear those acts is actually quite a chilling moment.
In case I haven't suggested it yet, Linda Koslowski was in a great comedy with Bill Paxton, Tim Curry and Annie Potts, called "...Pass The Ammo", about disgruntled hillbillies storming the 'citadel' of their local televangelist.
This is probably the earliest I've seen Stephen Root in a movie. He's the guy in the bathroom. He even steals the scene here. You girls even recognized Louis Guzman. No one else has.
His name is 'Luis' without the 'o'. But yes. - Stephen Root himself is actually great in "Raising Genius" with Justin Long and Wendie Malick, if you like films that are a bit wacky.
It's a good sequel because it successfully ups the stakes from the original without being a lazy carbon copy of it nor straying off the reservation of its original formula. However, like all sequels, it is by its very nature derivative. I can't say which one is better, they're probably both equal quality. There is a straight-to-video second sequel, but I never saw it. I heard it was very bad... By the way, I you two are both so beautiful, I would kill and wear the hides of a thousand crocodiles for either one of you! 😍😍
31:34 "Some people say that he talks to animals." 🤨I mean, that's not fancy. Anyone who can _talk_ can talk to animals. Talking _with_ animals, though...
The two of y’all are So Beautiful And Awesome! I love crocodile Dundee part two one of the few movies that the second one is better than the first one…. And the music is beautiful as well.
I remember being at the new Virgin music store in Hollywood after this movie came out. I was waiting for the elevator and when the doors opened that creepy little dude came off the elevator, I almost got scared then reality set in.
Each film has a different feel and the third is good as well. Each in a different stage in the relationship. It is a fun fact they got married for real so the love affair was for real.
I like them both, but it’s a little hard to decide which I like more. I really busted a gut laughing at y’all’s reaction to Mick breaking the snake charmer’s cobra! Yeah, that guy (Luis Guzmán) y’all pointed out is recognizable since he’s been in a good amount of movies and tv shows.
Such a shame they got divorced in real life after 28 years. Their chemistry is the kind of people's dreams. This was the last great Crocadile movie, the 3rd isn't great. They did make another nice comedy together. Almost An Angel, which is funny and heartwarming.
Another great Australian saga is QUIGLEY DOWN UNDER starring Tom Selleck and Alan Rickman. Selleck play Quigley an American gun for hire who Rickman wants to employ to deal with his Aborigine problem. It's a western set in Australia. Great story and acting!

Linda Kozlowski and Paul Hogan were married for 24 years. He left his first wife after meeting her on the first movie. She is also in "Almost an Angel" movie as well.😀Thanks Michelle and Natalie!
Please get the facts right. Watch a documentary on Paul's life. He did not leave his first wife for Linda after the first movie. They fell for each other making the second film. Yes, and Stephen Root's had some great performances during his time in Hollywood. He's exceptional in "Raising Genius" with Justin Long and Wendie Malick, if you like films that are a bit wacky. Joel David Moore (third one from Dodgeball) and Danica McKellar (from The Wonder Years and all the Hallmark stuff) and a whole bunch of big names show up momentarly in that film. - And yes, if you didn't know the 'reason' for Meillon's death - liver disease, but you may have.
