I have a 6.25" wrist so I would go for the 35mm I tried on both. The 40 was just too large for me. I think I will go with the ice blue one when budget allows.

Great choice! The ice blue one is a beauty. I saw it in person at the AD. Thanks for commenting.

@@watchspirit No problem. I would go the powermatic version because I just prefer automatics. I also prefer the look of the waffle dial. One thing I have learned recently is square and tonneau style cases suit my wrist shape the best as do cushion cases.

I have never thought about the waffle design this way :) I do also favor automatics but I have lots of them and a Quartz one can be handy plus I really liked the color for having something different in my collection. In case you buy the automatic one, let me know.@@ColinLack

even my Grand Seiko doesn't always hit every index bang on. it's close to perfection but it fluctuates a little with every go.

    • @watchspirit
      @watchspirit  Год назад +1

Really?! I never had a quartz one in my hands (Snowflake = Spring Drive only) but at least it is what is talked about that the high-end quartz movement provides perfection and the second hand hits every marker. Thanks for letting us know.

@@watchspiritto be fair you really have to look closely and if it's off it's never much. maybe 5-10%. but definitely not perfect. I guess that's impossible.

Ok, I see. I guess I need to check a quartz one out at my AD next time. @@dmks2146

I have regular to small wrists. I chose the mint in 35mm, my girlfriend can also use it with a quick link adjustment or strap swap. Although, I tell people I chose the 35mm because the bracelet is so nice I wanted to show more of it.
The twelve by Christopher Ward in 36mm is a much better watch for a 6.5” wrist.

Yeah, if it works for you then this size is perfect as a couple's watch :-) That is a new aspect I haven't yet thought about is to show more of the bracelet. Good point. I watched a few The Twelve reviews. Not sure about the design yet but as always it is about to see watches in the metal and then decide. Thanks for commenting.

I thought of getting the 35 for my wife but I agree that the size is terrible. It seemed entirely to thick and unbalanced for such a small watch. Thanks for the video.

Really interesting to hear how different the views are regarding the size of the watch. Thanks for commenting.

I got 35mm. I also wear Seiko divers. I chose it because I like it discreet, classy and I always loved my grandfathers 35mm Omega Seamaster I got after he passed away. Its more like a jewelry bracelet and you forget its there. I like it in 40mm too, maybe I buy one in that size, it looks more flashy and bold like AP.

To cherish the watches from our ancestors is a nice thing indeed. In my case it is a pocket watch. I also have a Seiko diver. Maybe you have seen my review of my pocket watch and of my Seiko diver? Yes, another interesting thought is to have both sizes of the PRX for different occasions. I like the gold one as a statement piece as well. Oh, this watch rabbit hole!! 😅 Thanks @oskwi4579

i think that watch sizes should be considered when it covers 80% of your wrist?

I also think it depends on what you like. Thanks for commenting.

Its clear they should have just released something in the middle between 40 and 35 and everyone would be happy

    • @watchspirit

Yes, definitely. Many people want a midsize such as 38. So hopefully, Tissot will listen.

People will then want a 36mm. They are never happy
