Those old cars cleaned up nicely! The biggest transformation was by far the Impala, it was cool to see the before and after, I never would have though that old Impala would clean up so good. Good job!

Great video I think the wheels are painted where the brake buildup is little rubbing compound should take the black on off. I think those wheels are painted gray and then clearcoated. The outer bead should just be aluminum with clearcoat. Inside spokes painted gray with clearcoat keep up the good work guys blessings from London, Kentucky

On the aluminum wheels you could use an old stiff bristles tooth brush and on Amazon you can buy brushes made like a tooth brush made with wire bristles.🤓 It works.
Still need to use soap because it lifts the dirt and floats it otherwise just rubbing the dirt into the paint.
Wayne must have well water, with no more water pressure than that coming out of the water hose
yes he does have well water but we were using a large water tank on the back of a truck for water.
that old SS Monte Carlo is probably worth twice he paid for it if sold today
Any time a car sets up a couple weeks or more, give it a few wiffs of ether to help the fuel pump get liquid so it doesn't crank dry.

Those wheels are factory clear coated. I'm not a know it all, but just letting you know.
I had 2 1955 Chevys they come stock with hydraulic lifters unless someone has modified it,it comes with a 265 engine,I think in 1957 they came out with the 283 Chevy engine.
I think I would invest in some car covers,such nice cars.
I think the stuff coming off the trees is called tree sap.

Next time you clean an old car, get clay bar, and the solution that goes with it, and it will take all the contaminants out of the paint and off the windows

The Monte is blowing smoke and has sat too long. Probably needs valve stem seals.

To long John. I don’t want to watch a video for an hour unless it is the movie. you could break this down in into 2nvideos instead of one is my opinion.
RUclips will only seems to recommend the long video to viewers. All my videos that goes over over 1 million views are 45 minutes or longer.
It's hard to believe that Monte Carlo started that it easy after all them years with stale gas and it being carbureted! Usually the accelerator pump is stuck & floats are stuck causing flooding over.
