Am i the only one that really enjoyed foggy, and the karen and foggy scenes?? Its nice when a show spends some time on the supporting characters, giving them motive and relationships (both to the protagonist and each other) it really grounds the shows world and makes you care more about both matt murdock and the people hes trying to protect.... and its a bold move to do this, but ultimately a really smart one imho because it actually raises the stakes since it makes you care about more characters than just matt. Also apparently umpopular opinion?? i think elden did a great job with foggy tbh, hes funny and a great contrast to the character of matt murdock.... while foggy feels less like the jon favreau-esque purely comicrelief character (both his foggy and happy annoyed me) and more like a fleshed out character with his own motivations. Especially the "nelson v murdock" episode did a great job of building on matt and foggys relationship. I really liked that we got a sidekick who doesnt want to see his friend don the mask, and that gets upset and fights, theres too many gung-ho supporting characters in comicbook tv-shows that never question their superhero friends. Also showing a great male friendship with real emotions without all the ridiculous posturing!
Don't agree at all with the view that the makers of this series "wasted time" with foggy. It actually made the series even more watchable seeing how committed they are to the characters having a life of their own.

I think that it was one of the best russian character in all of western TV/movie-industry. They actually found a good russian-speaking actor which is more than i can say about Arrow. And him humming "По полю танки грохотали" in his final scene was one of my favorite moments.
Un Lobo Well, there is Russian dialogue in Arrow, but i wish there weren't. It's cringeworthy to say the least. Also, IIRC one of Daredevil producers is Russian(or at least have russian-sounding name) and that could have been the reason for them to make effort.

Just a little Easter Egg, did you spot it? Ben Urich looks through his office effects when he gets home, he pulls out a framed picture which shows the headline 'Battle of New York', presumably one of his prize winning stories!
Sure, actually if you think straight, they probably showed up by the sewers when matt was gone, season 2 will show that they saved the Russian dude from those evil guys.

On the top of a freezing cold fucking mountain. DD is everything DC wanted out of Arrow and more. IMBD gave DD a 9.5/10. It got a 97 on rotten tomatoes. Arrow got a 8.5, and a 70 on rotten tomatoes.
Possible spoilers/speculation Nobu and his men wanted specifically 2 blocks of land to start construction on. Could those plans be to build shadowland? I was thinking the same thing. I think Season 2 will have more Hand related characters like Black Tarantula (his suit is SO badass) and the second season will all lead to Defenders, which could either be a) all the villains team up or their is a gang war between different crime bosses OR b) The Hand is taking on New York. Hell, since Hellcat (two DD puns in one, HELL yes!!!) Is going to be in Jessica Jones, and JJ seems to be doing the thing from the comics where she helps distressed and crazy superhumans, I think these shows will introduce at least 2 more heroes each, because there is no damm way just the four of them could take The Entire Hand in New York.
My favorite moment in DD was when Vladimir was beaten to stay alive and crippled until the very end. Sadly he was doomed to go away (either die or ran away, unfortunately he died), I'm glad there was some humor here in there with him involved.

What about Karen shooting Fisk's best friend??! That was a shocking thing and she said something like "you think I haven't shot a man before?" Shes def not innocent.
BrianReisbeck That's an incredibly douche thing to do and say, especially when the owner of the channel who makes a living out of the adverts has commented as well.
"I wish more RUclipsrs could refrain from name calling or being mean spirited and anonymously slandering commenters on video's by calling them douches and such. That's exactly the kind of thing that should get them blocked." I wish more RUclipsrs could refrain from using AdBlock, which is ONLY hurting people they watch and maybe want to support, which they do not if they use AdBlock.
The effort and devotion you put into these videos, even if all you do is talk in front of the camera is incredible. As for the knowledge, I tend to come back to this channel when I don't understand any of the TV shows and get a straight answer every time. Impressive sir.
The only superhero film that my parents actually loved to watch. But only because it seems so realistic. Since matt can get tired when fighting, that he can get badly injured, that it the injury does affect his next fights...even the villain is realistic. A mentally abused mob boss that u actually care about. And i kinda like the realism too. I hope that if they r gonna put mysticism in the next season, they would do so in a way that won't seem childish.
5:04 Obviously, yeah. I'm not 100% on Daredevil/Elektra canon, but IIRC it was like that in the comics. Anyone can feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't they start as enemies before the big relationship started?
Do you think that Lady Gao could perhaps be an Inhuman or Galactic character? in the episode where Daredevil takes out her warehouse, she says that she is going home. When asked if she was returning to china, she replied with its much further than that.
Gao is probably an Iron Fist character as she uses the logo for the Steel Serpent one of his villains. I'd say the further than China line is a reference to the Heavenly Cities like K'un Lun where Iron Fist is trained are in other planes of existence only appearing on Earth every couple of decades.
***** she seems an awful lot like the character from the comics called mother crane. im sure thats who she is. shes from the island that iron fist learns to fight on.
I think i saw a punisher easter egg on episode 6, it is between minute 42:49 and 42:58, it shows a punisher skelleton on a wall that its next to matt an vladimir
Great video, you always seem to know your stuff for all shows, unlike others I've seen that seem to be just reading of the internet and are so unprepared. Keep up the good work.
Great video, just a quick mention- not only the last Kingpin scene hint at him showing up as a more realised full blown bad guy in season 2, but his last speech, as he is transported in the SWAT truck, pretty much outlines it. That kind of shows that the motivation for his actions will change in season 2, going from I'm working for the same end Daredevil is, however, the means differ, to either I must stop this menace (Daredevil), or I'm the bad guy here, in this story, now I (Kingpin) realise it, therefore, I must play my role as best I can, making profit and destroying my enemies in the way. Therefore, I really don't see him being in prison all throughout season 2, than again I'm not writing the show, who knows. Just one major gripe with this awesome show- the Daredevil suit really doesn't work. The show is great though, *very* different from anything else Marvel has done.
The best fight scene in a show where they went back and forth between different times was the finale of Arrow season 2 where they had the parallel past and present Ollie vs Slade fights.
Wilson Fisk in prison reminds me of a Civil War tie-in issue, he totally plays Iron Man, giving him the location to Captain America's team, but he's actually giving him the location to a meeting of gansters that want to take over Kingpin's operations (Hammerhead and a bunch of others), so he uses the civil war to eliminate his rivals. Fooling Iron Man into doing your dirty work? Kingpin's a badass.
But Charlie Cox pretty much DID say when it was going to premiere, he said it'd be on the same timeline as Season 1, same shooting schedule and thus same release date (roughly speaking). And why do we assume that Claire and Matt are sleeping together? The most they did on screen was smooch and we as viewers have no reason to believe they did anything further (in terms of what was revealed on camera). Plus Matt clearly takes his Catholicism pretty seriously. That guy was 'probably' Stone? He WAS Stone, the credits said so -.-
Emilio Méndez I rewatched that scene, I detect nothing in the dialogue that implies they did anything, though they regret things and clearly wished things could have gone the other way
Hey Charlie. I really enjoy your videos. Daredevil has always been one of my fav characters from the Marvel universe. Love your reviews. Keep em comin'. And yeah, how rad was the Stick episode. I do believe that the jack dude with scars all over his back is Stone. Oh..I just got it..STICKS AND STONES..haha
When I saw the costume at the season finale, it kinda reminded me of the armored Daredevil costume that SHIELD gave to him. That could be another tie in with SHIELD. Also, Fisk being behind bars sets the stage for Bullseye as a contractor for DD.
In Ep 12 did anyone else catch that Madam Gao was able to knock Matt across the room in one hit and that the stamp on the heroin bags look a lot like Iron Fist's tattoo? She also pulled a "Batman" twice and said that she was "going to her homeland" which is "considerable distance further" when asked if she meant China. To me that sounds like K'un-Lun. Any thoughts?
Really liked you thoughts and opinion on the Daredevil series. There were definitely some things that I was unclear about that you brought up to the surface.
S1 was the rise of King Pin. He starts off as Wilson Fisk, believing he's the good Samaritan. Then he finally realizes he's the one with ill intent... who set upon the traveler on a road he should not have been on... FUCKING LOVE THAT SCENE! The fight with Nobu is seriously my favorite. It was so gruesome and brutal.
Now that we finally have the rights to Spider-man, I'd kinda like to see a little Daredevil/Black Cat flirting. It happened in the comics and I thinks it's interesting:-)
That would be cool. Heck, they should use a ton of Spidey villains that overlap with these characters, like Tombstone, Black Cat, ELECTRO (done right!), and a whole lot more
First we do not own anything. Second Marvel does not own the own the rights again to spiderman. They worked out a deal to have spiderman in their movies. Sony still owns the rights. For the time being anyways.
I didn't know about the Captain America stunt double. That's cool! I like it when you throw in facts like that. It makes me appreciate the franchise more. Do you think that early in the season when Foley was talking to Karen about the fax machine and machines taking over that was a nod to Ultron?
It seems rather close so perhaps not but I think maybe, if we're lucky, we'll see him and the defenders in Infinity War part 1 or 2 which will be the movie to end all movies.
Josh Smith I see the movie plots affecting the TV stories rather then the other way around. So after Civil War, I reckon we might see some newspaper articles on the topic as read by Foggy.
I'm a DC fan, I grew up with DC. I don't hate Marvel and I want to give this a shot, but it feels weird for me especially if they are trying to start a Marvel universe type of thing. I just don't know if I'm going to be able to keep up with all the Marvel things especially when I don't care for any Marvel characters (other than Daredevil since this show grabbed my attention). Obviously this show is good but is it easy to get into?
It is. Immediately gripping and enticing. As far as the having to keep up with the rest of the MCU, as long as you know about the battle in New York in The Avengers, you're good to go. Definitely worth checking out
Rock'n'Roll Penuin no problem. Really all you need to know is there was an alien invasion, the avengers saved the day, but the city took lots of damage
Rock'n'Roll Penuin yes actually. One might actually argue DC stole that while concept right out of the avengers. I'm NOT claiming that they did, I'm just making a point that it's the same idea, though some may make that claim.
Good point on comparing DD to other TV shows, not being enslaved to that beat-beat-break-beat-beat-break act formula really changes the experience for the show and makes it much more cinematic. I'm certainly a fan. I'm probably going to have to go an marathon the whole series again next weekend.
kaosdevice - Netflix could find a middle-ground by releasing one episode per week without exception. Then we could discuss each episode individually (unlike now with Netflix releasing all the episodes at once) but without the weeks without an episode because they're on break.
I agree that Karen and Matt have soooo much chemistry and I'm also glad that Matt isn't settling down with one girl as you said. I hope we'll get to see Matt/Karen's relationship build up through each season and hopefully they'll find their way back to each other in the end. (I hope that made sense, my english kinda sucks ^^ ) I really tried but couldn't have any sympathy for Fisk, he just repels me so much LOL He's awful, violent, cruel and has terrible anger issues... I tried to feel bad for him but I'm not one to think that a terrible childhood justifies terrible actions as an adult. He's fully responsible and I can't feel sorry for him. I have felt sympathy for horrible characters on other shows but somehow I can't seem to connect with Fisk. I just want him dead and away from Matt LOL! Thank you for your reviews Charlie! :)
I never really got into the marvel Netflix ones, so I generally viewed the DC shows in the arrowverse as better but daredevil season 1 is arguably the best. Easily in my top 3 superhero seasons and I haven’t even seen season 2 or any of the other marvel Netflix shows. But I’m so hyped.
Edward Rabbit look up a podcast called plumbing the death star with the same title as what I said and it actually surprises you about how much he is a better batman than batman,
I liked his original simple outfit more than the funny looking devil costume. I get it's armored and protective, but it looks hilarious while the black cloth looked menacing. The longshot scene was amazing.
If you we're going to use Arrow as an example of how the show jumped in time between scenes, it would have made more sense to use the fight between Oliver and Slade at the end of S2 where they switch between them fighting on the super tanker on the island and then them fighting currently in Starling City.
Yeah, they all have super powers. Iron Fist less so, because it's mystic powers, but Cage has super strength and unbreakable skin, and Jones has super strength and flight.
Since the the entire Marvel cinematic universe is accurate when it comes to the birth of super powers I'm pretty sure they'll have actual powers like in the comics
The fight in episode 2 wasn't a single take. If you know what and invisible switch is, then you would see how. An invisible switch is when they cut the camera and then start rolling again. When the door hits the ground now is the camera supposed to get over it when its on wheels (we know its on wheels because of how still it is)? So every time the camera faces the wall to see the other side of the hallway, there is an invisible switch. This isn't supposed to come off mean, if that's what it looks like.
Hey Charlie! I read that "The Frenemy of my Enemy" leads towards "Age of Ultron" opening scene. How does it lead to Avengers's attack to Hydra fortress?
One of the things i absolutely loved about Daredevil was it is not just a superhero show where its all action and no thought. It's smart, action packed and funny while also be dark. Peopel think you can't mix those together and you're supposed to choose either or but Daredevil simply proved that's not the case. Drew Goddard is a genius haha i want him to direct the new Spiderman movie i wasn't sure at first but he's definitely the man for the job.
Madam Gao ties into Iron Fist even better because she uses the symbol of the Steel Serpent (a Iron Fist villian) and given that she seems to be super-human/super-natural which most likely means she has some connection to the Seven Cities of Heaven.
The final scene with the Kingpin reminded me of all the times he wakes up in bed and looks at the "Rabbit in Snowstorm" painting. I thought that was a nice touch.
i normally don't re-watch shows but I loved this so much it makes me want to watch the episodes over and over. Kingpin was such a great and layered villian it made the show so much better.
Good review - I'm glad to see you catching up. Shows like Daredevil definitely present a weird dilema, instead of 23 episdoes spread over half a year you get 13 in one day. I bet if it were not for GoT you would have had an easier time of it.
Hey Charlie, do you write scripts for your episodes or do you improvise them from the general themes you want to talk about? I ask because I never hear you saying "um" or pausing for particularly long periods of time.
My hopes for Season 2 are that we see Bullseye and Elektra, like you said :) I'd love to see the Owl, too. Or, well, the son he mentions a bunch of times. Leland was a great villain, though :D
Emergency Awesome, I love watching your channel especially after an episode when Im fresh with the story. Question though, how can you skimp on DareDrevil, when it has one of the biggest budget Netflix Oirginals. I would reconsider doing an episode revie for episodes 5-13.
I like how Marvel organizes there universe. For example they have stated there open for a Daredevil movie. This is great considering we already know the origin because of Daredevil season 1. So they would skip straight to something bigger. Wish D.C would of done the same for the flash.
During the progression of this amazing show I hope they give Matt Murdock his traditional billy club weapon. He has those sticks but I feel the billy club is a more effective weapon and he definetley will have the ability to perform more things with it.
I hope the black skies stuff with the kid, the hand and maybe chase they streamline into the inhumans so we get huge build up to them ,but they could bring in demons/mystical stuff to build up Dr Strange too
Luv it. And this video Quedtion; will luke cage & ironfist be, a team up series like in the comics or will we see luke cage 13 episodes then see iron fist 13 episodes? High fives
***** did you notice the Elektra Easter egg i can't remember the exact episode but Foggy and Mat talked about the greek girl he took spanish to impress in college which i think was a call out to Elektra. Also im surprised you didn't mention madam Gao and her super strength and the steal serpent symbol on the drug packets in the factory making me think she is crane mother which could tie in with iron fist as he gets his powers from k'un l'un one of the legendary cities of heaven and crane mother is associated with steel serpent, what do you think of this theory?
Such a great show! I saw all episodes in one week. The fights are amazing just like the ones in Winter Soldier and thanks to you i know why now! Good luck with everything, you're doing a great job.
Cpt. Bald I hope what you say happens.s2 being heavily influenced by the events of civil war and maybe a cameo of captain America in the show and daredevil in the movie.
Sam Rider yeah I hope this opens the door for more series like this. You don't always need something on the big screen and I would like to see a punisher series like this and maybe another shot a ghost rider
I thought this show did what most cannot do, make every character interesting and worth time on the screen. Foggy was not the typical cliched best friend character and I appreciated that. There is also nothing wrong with certain characters taking longer to learn information as long as it makes sense for the story. The show also did a great job of not trying to ship everyone and instead worried about the story flowing. I am really glad to hear that they will not wait to create season 2. Maybe we will get some crossovers and early introductions to new series characters.
There was an Iron Fist easter egg. Gau's Herione had the sign that iron fist's villains had. I think the Black Sky was a refugee from the mystical city
thebatmanover9000 It's not "good", it's awesome. I think it's better than what most people were expecting, even fanboys. What's the point in waiting though ?
CyllidCastle Cable bill and internet bill. Do not need another bill from netflix. If I buy each season on DVD with a one time purchase it seems more cost effective in the long run.
My favourite part was when Foggy found out Matt was Daredevil and he said "How many fingers am I holding up?" and he gives him the finger.
That episode was my favorite.when the whole episode was dedicated to their conversation.
Joidal Toidal yeah that was an awesome episode all around until foggy goes bitch mode on him
Matthew Reese What episode does Foggy find out?
***** I hated the show. But I look forward to Season 2 to redeem the show
Joidal Toidal genius writing isn't it. Stuff like this reminds me of the final season of Breaking Bad.
One thing marvel should do for season two... Gordon Ramsay cameo. I mean come one! The site takes place in HELL'S KITCHEN. That'd be perfect comic relief for when things get too serious.
Jeremy Cote Yeah! He could seek out Foggy and Matt for legal help!
He could say to the lawyers my kitchen is worse
It could be him going aginst simon cowl
Jeremy Cote I would love to see him screaming bad language to Foggy.
Jeremy Cote
Daredevil - "Why do you do this?"
Gordon Ramsay - "Because its RAWWWWWW!!!"
I was eating spaghetti when Kingpin decapitated that one guy with his SUV's door...can't eat pasta now & haven't finished the season yet either.
But now, I have the undeniable urge to wear a black Armani suit while watching the show. please help.
Blaze mordly You picked a terrible time to say spagetti, lol.
Derp Jackson
I....I will then. *nods to himself*

The Russian character whose head was cut off by fisk is British.and the other one was power rangers.
fobudomh
I was talking about the second one.
SAUglaz I just appreciated actual Russian dialogue

Charlie, Cox actualy said S2 will be here same time next year.
cullen bloodstone I'm sure he said it in the video but what is 52
S2 as in season 2
No, of course not. S2 definitely mean Spider-Man 2
Really?
S2 is clearly a heart!
cullen bloodstone I thought it was the number 5 2 not S 2
I feel like an idiot now
Awesome series. Can't wait for season 2
simon french Expect it around the same time next year. In time for Captain America Civil War.
***** I hope you are right.
simon french Enjoyable show, looks good for future Marvel Netflix shows.
*****
Not in "Civil War" (that movie is gonna be busy enough as it is), but there's rumours floating around that the Defenders might show up in Infinity War.
Nergalsama01 I wonder what daredevil can do in the infinity war, I mean he's powers can't stand against cosmic guys
I really like The girl who plays Karen Page. So cute
Reborn8303 Yeah and really complicated.
Reborn8303 she was from true blood
I actually loved the bits with Foggy bonding with Karen. In terms of a television series, its good to have that bit of lightness and human-ness to it. Especially since the show is so dark. I will allways remember that the clan that Nobu was in is called ''The Hand''because of TMNT's ''The Foot'' :)
EbirdHD Reverse that and then you've got it right.
Ryan Atkinson Yeah I know that TMNT got it from Daredevil but I've allways been a super fan of TMNT.
Sure, actually if you think straight, they probably showed up by the sewers when matt was gone, season 2 will show that they saved the Russian dude from those evil guys.
***** I like to think that the chemicals that blinded Matt Murdock, spilled into the sewers and created the TMNT :)
TouYube That's actually what happend, according to TMNT's comics.
They did a slight nod to elektra with foggys comment to matt about his Greek ex girlfriend in a college flashback scene
I really wanted more stick moments. At least a montage of matt growing up training with stick or something! hope that comes in season 2

I don't like how Black Canary doesn't have her canary cry naturally. I think the guy Eddie on the Flash should be barry Allen.

Billy Salmon ha, sometimes that happens.
I honestly loved Karen and Foggy's relationship, it felt more real.
The effort and devotion you put into these videos, even if all you do is talk in front of the camera is incredible. As for the knowledge, I tend to come back to this channel when I don't understand any of the TV shows and get a straight answer every time. Impressive sir.
Vincent's version of Kingpin was amazing. Made you feel somewhat empathetic for him which scared me a little since he's clearly a psychopath lol.
I love the episode where James Wesley said something about "An iron suit or a magic hammer"
Hands down my favorite easter egg/reference.
I personally love the red suit, it's amazing
This show was amazing, I like the costume, love Fisk, and now the cliffhangers that we are left with I am excited for season 2
The show is great though, *very* different from anything else Marvel has done.
that scene of Wilson and Vanessa as they watched the buildings blowup reminded me so much of fight club
That hall scene tho! I sense Oldboy inspiration!
He WAS Stone, the credits said so -.-
It is implied in dialogue that they had some sexy time at some point. You know, the stitch up scene before the balloon.
Emilio Méndez I rewatched that scene, I detect nothing in the dialogue that implies they did anything, though they regret things and clearly wished things could have gone the other way
They dialogue pretty much confirms that they did
Are we watching a different scene, or do all guys just assume the guy and girl slept with each other?
I asked my husband and he thinks ya'll are crazy too
Hey Charlie.
Anyone else hoping they use daredevils old suit for iron fist and just change the colours or something
I think they should stick with the Black outfit. The classic DD costume is not very good in my opinion.
When I saw the costume at the season finale, it kinda reminded me of the armored Daredevil costume that SHIELD gave to him. That could be another tie in with SHIELD. Also, Fisk being behind bars sets the stage for Bullseye as a contractor for DD.
Charlie Jessica Jones is set to premiere in 2015. DD season 2 will be in 2016, along with the premieres of Luke Cage and Iron Fist.
12:45 That would make sense with the character of Kingpin too.
I really love how they use foggy and karen. They are really cool characters
That guy who made daredavil suit was in the one shot with "the mandarin"
Great video Charlie! It was worth the wait ;)
Now that we finally have the rights to Spider-man, I'd kinda like to see a little Daredevil/Black Cat flirting. It happened in the comics and I thinks it's interesting:-)
That would be cool. Heck, they should use a ton of Spidey villains that overlap with these characters, like Tombstone, Black Cat, ELECTRO (done right!), and a whole lot more
Mia lovely YASS BLACKCAT EVEN THO I PERFER CATXSPIDER BUT IDC NOW I JUST WANT TO SEE HER TT^TT
I'm not stoked on the costume upgrade. Really enjoyed the black. Made it more realistic.
Is there a chance of daredevil being in civil war
It seems rather close so perhaps not but I think maybe, if we're lucky, we'll see him and the defenders in Infinity War part 1 or 2 which will be the movie to end all movies.
***** marvel is already writing scripts for phase 4 .phase 4 is definitely coming.
Josh Smith I see the movie plots affecting the TV stories rather then the other way around. So after Civil War, I reckon we might see some newspaper articles on the topic as read by Foggy.
fobudomh New Avengers?
Josh Smith Most likely they will just mention his name.
Definitely worth checking out
Josh Wilkins I actually don't know about the battle in New York, I'm gonna check this show out anyway tho thanks for the reply!
Rock'n'Roll Penuin no problem. Really all you need to know is there was an alien invasion, the avengers saved the day, but the city took lots of damage
Josh Wilkins Ah, I see kind of like the end of MoS?
Rock'n'Roll Penuin yes actually. One might actually argue DC stole that while concept right out of the avengers. I'm NOT claiming that they did, I'm just making a point that it's the same idea, though some may make that claim.
Vincent D'Onofrio is THE reason to watch. Best villain.
Wilson Fisk in this iteration reminds me a lot of Torro Bulba from Drakwing Duck.
In Ben's (the old journalist) office there is a framed newspaper noting "Hulk emerges victor in (some town)"
I agree that Karen and Matt have soooo much chemistry and I'm also glad that Matt isn't settling down with one girl as you said. I hope we'll get to see Matt/Karen's relationship build up through each season and hopefully they'll find their way back to each other in the end. (I hope that made sense, my english kinda sucks ^^ )
I really tried but couldn't have any sympathy for Fisk, he just repels me so much LOL He's awful, violent, cruel and has terrible anger issues...
Before Ben dies in the episode "The Ones We Leave Behind" you can see on the wall a newspaper that has what looks like a Spider- Man picture
In Arrow they also did the jumping forward and backwards when Oliver was fighting Slade in the finale.
Daredevil is a better batman than batman.
Lol not really
Edward Rabbit look up a podcast called plumbing the death star with the same title as what I said and it actually surprises you about how much he is a better batman than batman,
SimsFinch Ayyy lmao, I only listen to the weekly planet and Dudesoup. But I'm not gonna listen to it, so if you don't mind. Please explain why?
SimsFinch No. Just, no. smh
That makes sense. After all DD was darker than Batman.
1:30
I don't think they started...
so, how can they stop..?
Are Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, & Iron Fist going to have actual powers?
Yeah, they all have super powers. Iron Fist less so, because it's mystic powers, but Cage has super strength and unbreakable skin, and Jones has super strength and flight.
PathsUnwritten Think the only one that and powers was Iron Fisk, not sure.
Since the the entire Marvel cinematic universe is accurate when it comes to the birth of super powers I'm pretty sure they'll have actual powers like in the comics
John John why would iron fist have less?
***** hey is Madam Gow from the place where Iron Fist is?
We're does daredevil go to eat when he's hungry?
Hells kichen
When the cops investigated Fisks home, they found all of his pins, so they decided to call him King-PIN
Do you know how hells kichens is actually hell?
Because the dare-DEVIL sees a "World on fire".
+Graffitibear9000 HOLY-
That was amazing. XD
Perfect timing Charlie as I just finished the season. It was amazing, cant wait till season 2!!!
Good review - I'm glad to see you catching up. Shows like Daredevil definitely present a weird dilema, instead of 23 episdoes spread over half a year you get 13 in one day. I bet if it were not for GoT you would have had an easier time of it.
Hey im from the u.s. and i saw avengers age of ultron yesterday and do you think what happen to quick silver is permanent?
This show was great. I'd love to see Netflix do a dark Punisher show
Hey Charlie, do you write scripts for your episodes or do you improvise them from the general themes you want to talk about?
I think they did a GREAT job with Wilson Fisk.
During the progression of this amazing show I hope they give Matt Murdock his traditional billy club weapon. He has those sticks but I feel the billy club is a more effective weapon and he definetley will have the ability to perform more things with it.
I hope the black skies stuff with the kid, the hand and maybe chase they streamline into the inhumans so we get huge build up to them ,but they could bring in demons/mystical stuff to build up Dr Strange too
Luv it. And this video
Quedtion; will luke cage & ironfist be, a team up series like in the comics or will we see luke cage 13 episodes then see iron fist 13 episodes?
So are Daredevil and Wilson Fisk going to be in Civil War? Also I hope eventually they do a Punisher Netflix series in the future.
Sam Rider I expect a season 2 "meanwhile" civil war event down in Hell Kitchen.
Charlie Cox said he wanted the Punisher in season 2. Here's hoping.
Sam Rider Yes to Daredevil and Wilson Fisk in Civil War, no to a Punisher Netflix series.
Correction 9:22 Daredevil rescues a little boy not a "little girl".
Avocados at Law sounds fantastic
Not quite sure if there is a snake/hydra connection. A snake's head doesn't really grow back when you cut it off
Am I the only one that saw the newspaper with The Hulk on the front page in Ben's office?
I want to wait till it comes out on dvd.
Is the show good?
One of the best shows of all time and the best comic book show of all time.
I don't know if I'd go that far, but it is VERY good.
thebatmanover9000 It's not "good", it's awesome. I think it's better than what most people were expecting, even fanboys.
What's the point in waiting though ?
Josh Wilkins I said it's "one of the best".but it's just my opinion.the comparison cannot really be made as it was on netflix.
CyllidCastle Cable bill and internet bill.
Do not need another bill from netflix.
If I buy each season on DVD with a one time purchase it seems more cost effective in the long run.
Avocados at law
