- Apr 5, 2020 - This virtual tour captures my bike ride from Lincoln Park to start The 606 bike path. I rode west on Armitage before continuing on Cortland Street. The route bisects the vibrant Lincoln Park neighborhood. While there is a bike lane for the entire route, I consider its design to be inadequate for the amount of car traffic on these streets. Either way, it's certainly a scenic ride that is probably the most direct route between the lakefront and The 606.

Yeah this is the video I would send to Alderwoman Smith, asking her why 3 years later the Dickens Ave Greenway still hasn't been built yet. And asking if anyone watching this video would feel comfortable having their 12+ year-old bike on this street as legally required...
If videos like these don't inspire a push to make our streets safer, I don't want to imagine what it will take.
Well that was a bit disconcerting. You'd think the city would have better links between parks for people who want to bike.
Very cool
It's irritating when even police make it unsafe for those on bikes (4:05), setting an example that it's acceptable to use the bike lane for parking (5:28). Drivers parking in bike lanes is something I deal with nearly every day I bike in New Orleans

2:52 Beeeep! Too close pass by 2020 Black Nissan Rogue # CB 70972. Not a very good vehicle driver... 8:44 Divvy rider chooses to avoid ugly lane situation jumps on sidewalk😟 before Elston intersection.
Those potholes tho...
squeaky brakes, need to inspect! I hate when cars speed ahead to cut off cyclist only to stop for pedestrians 🤷🏾♂️ nice vid, safe travels.
My brakes need some serious work. This winter’s been rough on them! I’m actually taking it to the shop today for some spring maintenance.
