I grew up in the NYC metro area and it's just fascinating how different Chicago looks compared to Manhattan. It's so much cleaner. What a beautiful city, I'd love to visit one day
Chicago is Not that different than Manhattan off the lake. You cant compare the Entire city of Chicago to just one borough of New York City . Chicago is Manhattan off the lake , Brooklyn on the west side , Bronx on the south side and Queens on the Northwest side.
I'm a Chicago native and I've visited NY and I have to say the streets and roads are a big comparison. I'm proud of how clean and space-ish Chicago is.

I like where the traffic lights are mounted in the US - after the intersection, so you can see them well... Here in Europe sometimes you have to break you neck waiting for green light... :) Beautiful city by the way! Thanks for sharing!

I'm Japanese and I love the city architecture of Chicago. The buildings have a classic yet modern look. It's exactly how I imagine what an American city would look like. It reminds me of Gotham City lol.

As someone who visited Chicago for the first time last spring with a college friend, this video captures downtown Chicago perfectly. We even stayed at a hotel right on Michigan Avenue, so we were close to everything downtown and it was such a cool place. Watching this video reminds ,e of everything we saw and everywhere we went , much of which is shown here. Makes me smile. Such an amazing city. Thank you for posting this!

Love this video man, this is one of the most detailed video's I got of Downtown Chicago in a long time. Visited there back in winter of 2006 with some family members and it was a fantastic experience. It reminds me of Midtown Manhattan and Lower Manhattan combined in my hometown of NYC... @@danielsmith8111 Not really, the public transportation serves the size of the city very well. You dont need a car, just as New York. NY is bigger so more is needed, but we have bus routes that go everywhere, subways, elevated trains and Metra train
CTA public transporation is only good if you live on the Northside because you near downtown and it is a tourist attraction. If you live on the Southside or Westside Chicago. . . .You need a CAR! lol Public transportation sucks on the Southside; Iḿ a living witness.
@@terucks No you dont, there are plenty of people here who dont even know how to drive.I grew up in Roseland, and there was a time when I was young, my mother didnt have a car. Its true public transportation is better in certain areas but you can litterally get any and everywhere on a bus, El of Subway

Love this video man, this is one of the most detailed video's I got of Downtown Chicago in a long time. Visited there back in winter of 2006 with some family members and it was a fantastic experience. It reminds me of Midtown Manhattan and Lower Manhattan combined in my hometown of NYC... Keep up the great work..
