- The Bajaj Qute was first displayed at the 2012 Auto Expo but after a lot of controversies, the vehicle is now available to buy for both private as well as commercial buyers. The Bajaj Qute is powered by a 216.6cc, single-cyl, liquid-cooled engine with a 5-speed sequential gearbox. The Bajaj Qute is available in 2 variants - Petrol and CNG, with the latter producing lesser power and torque. Is this a worthy replacement for auto rickshaws?

It's not a garbage box it's a golden box for commercial use it cost less than 1 RS /Km chipper that auto riskha.
And more over its not compet with nano or other 4 Wheeler (personal car) it's compet with auto

As it lanch for only commercial use hence no one can buying it for personal use as you are not available to register (with tarnsport [RTO] )as a personal car.

If he has that sort of money he will go for kwid or 800 which has more to offer and then join maybe ola Uber with a cng kit. Over priced, it's not even worth for 80k - 1L price bracket because
There are 2 Types of people in India.
1) Type one: These people are moving from their bike to car only because of its comfortable & safety over bikes.
2) Type 2: These people are looking car as status. So these people are buying car to improve their status :-P 😊 .
But this car didn't satisfy any of them.
Even the price is too high.
How could they price a vehicle with an engine with 216.6cc, No AC, Bad body panel for RS 3.2 L.
For this budget we can buy some base model of car with AC, better safety & strong body panel, with higher power engine, and also with good design and quality than this.
I am very sorry bajaj to say this, I am sure that no one from India will buy this....

Why you people are not understand it's not a care it's a Quadricycle. Both are deferent types of vehicle [ like bike and car is completely other type of vehicle ]

{ On 22 May 2013, The Central Government legally classified it as a quadricycle. It is unable to reach speeds of 90 km/h and is therefore only allowed to be used for commercial purposes to replace auto rickshaws. }
as price is concerned for commercial use it's justifying it's price. [As No. Other company lanch thair Quadricycle in Indian market ]

May be this vehicle useful to only couples. Can be a option for retired once. Nothing has mentioned about gradability. May be trial Canberra conducted on old Mumbai Pune Khandala ghat. Anyway a good quick review.
