- The Bajaj Qute was showcased in 2012 and has been on sale since 2016. Yup, that's a fact. Not in India, though. It went on sale abroad as Bajaj locked horns with established car manufacturers over the legality of the Qute plying on Indian roads, simply because this type of a vehicle had no official classification in the market. Questions about crash worthiness were also posed and up until last year, the Qute was embroiled in bitter courtroom battles. In 2018, the road and transport ministry formally introduced the quadricycle class of vehicle in India, which means you and I can buy it and drive it on our streets. For European Countries i think it will really NEED a Heating Ventilation for cold Winter Days. Otherwise is becomes undriveable with fogged and iced Windows...

Both the Tata Nano and Suzuki Alto 800 are superior to the Qute in every way and can serve similar purposes so who would anyone buy this especially considering its high price? Apparently, Bajaj didn't look at its competition before coming up with this design.

I have a Nano. Far advanced than this crap.
Nano is a complete car. It has got electric power steering, AC, music system, seat belts, and a smooth engine, bs4 tuned by Bosch. I got it serviced recently. It returns a good mileage of 20 kmpl in city with AC on.
