Cody, my Pomsky, at 11 months, playing with his Kong Wobbler. I have not given the toy to him in ages, and he was wondering what he should be doing with it intially. The smart kid got on to it after seeing that food falls out of it when I pushed it once.
Cody was born on 16 January 2011, and very much a smaller version of a Husky. Has Husky traits like his fur, eyes (bi-colored), body structure.
This is the second video I made of Cody. There was a lot of support for the first video I made of him. I guess many of you would like to know how he is doing, and what he looks like a little bit older.
Thank you all for viewing and commenting on his first video. I hope this 2nd video (in HD) will give you a better idea of how adorable he is.
Video taken on 20 December 2011.
i dont think they exist here in the UK, I'm not a man of emotion at all especially when it comes to other humans, but this dog, just makes me melt. especially the eyes, and the size. just, wow
If i ever met Cody i think the emotion would explode haha, I've always been like that with Dogs, they are such amazing creatures.
i love him. I hope that one day i will be able to afford one because they are too adorable.
what a BEAUTIFUL DOG!
Thank you. :)
Beautiful pomsky, he is so big! My pomskies are smaller, but have the same eyes!
I love the eyes on this dog I once had a pit bull with a blue eye and a yellow eye
oh my god, your so damn lucky, I seriously want a Pomsky, His eyes are so cool, such a cute dog!
Beautiful dog and beautiful eyes!
such a beautiful dog breed
what a cute dog
His eyes are amazing! :D
So cute
Thank you. :)
Hi, there is not many around to tell. However, of the 7 from his mother, Cody is the largest. The others are smaller. Cody is full grown and is considered a small dog at around 10kg... almost to medium though. He will not be growing in size anymore.
I didn't know how big he will be growing to, but I am happy the size he is now. Perfect. :)
beautiful dog!!! more pomsky videos pls))))
Thanks! I do have a new video that I took of him at a park a couple of weeks ago. Will post in the next few days. :)
@psychey1 thank you for this information. there isn't much information about them because they are a rare breed, i'm sorry to accuse that cody might not be a pomsky. cody is a beautiful dog :D
I am in love with Pomskys! i want one soo bad, but i dont know much about the breed or were to get one!
@TheKizzlah Thanks. He is a very handsome one! Never would I have thought he would turn out this way! I knew about the eyes... but his colour, mannerisms and the fact that he doesn't bark 99.9% of the time makes him more desirable! :)
where can i get a pomsky and how do i know which parent the pomsky will take after... im from the uk
@JappyChan Yes, of course I have the paperwork. I even met his parents! Pomskies are not very common, and you are lucky to have met one. I have seen Cody's 6 other siblings and they are all pretty different. Some have more Pomeranian traits and some have more Husky. An Alaskan Klee Kai is like a Husky mold, but miniature. Cody's tail actually comes down to resemble a Husky's when he is not excited. But because he is excited most of the time, his tail swirls in this fashion. :)
do you have the paper work to say that this is a pomsky? because i have seen a pomsky before they are not that big. you should contact the people you purchased your dog from. it looks like a alaskan klee kia you can tell by the dogs tail how it swirls in and by how the frame is it is long and skinny.
How big do these dogs get full grown?
Thanks. :) Pomky breeding is not encouraged at all. It is deemed cruel to force two animals of vast size differences to mate. There are and will never be legitimate breeders so the ones that claim to be are clearly unlicenced backyard breeders. You will get pure accidental ones though, that is where Cody is from, but is very rare. It is hard to know if a pomsky will grow to looks more Pom or more Husky, or whether it will take on the size of either.
Gorgeous
Thank you. :)
@Mrpro7B Thanks. I realise that I am the only one on RUclips that has pomsky videos. I will try to take more videos for uploading, over next couple of months. That pomsky pic that you have seen online was one that has been circulating online for a while now. It belongs to a lady in the States. Cody did not look like what when he was younger... because this mix is so rare, I am just being surprised as I go. :)
Thank you. :)
hello , may i ask from where did you get the dog he looks so cutee
@TheKizzlah Dogs do wonders with people. For you, it brings out the softie in you! lol.
Is the dad the husky or the pom? He's a beautiful dog!
His dad is a Husky.
Offcourse his dad is the pomeranian and his mother the husky, because a pomeranian is too small to get pomsky puppies.
+Pomsky Puppies Boy & Bentley Sorry to disappoint. Cody's dad is a Husky and his mother is a standard-size Pomeranian. Cody didn't come out the size that you see in this video. He was small. He was one of the 7 miracle puppies that was born.
Wow... So there were no compications with the birth? I'm not an expert, but it's safer for the dog if it's the other way around... Anyway your dog looks healthy and is really beautiful!
+Pomsky Puppies Boy & Bentley Fortunately there was not complications in the birth. It was an accident between the Husky (that was for breeding) and the standard-size Pomeranian. The mother survived and all pups too. All healthy and beautiful... as there were no precedent cases in Australia prior to that, the owners did not know what would they turn out to look like. It is a mystery just watching Cody grow up.
I'm having trouble finding a breeder! I want a Pomsky so bad... :3
@TheGodOlympus I don't know where you can go to get a Pomsky. It is always by chance. Even its looks, it is never predictable which breed the pups will grow to look like more. I am lucky COdy looks more Husky than Pomeranian. The mix is really difficult to find as not many cross-breed-mating accidents happen. Keep searching the internet and maybe someone might have a luther for you to choose from. Can't help more than that.
@TheKizzlah Not a man of emotion?! Yes, Cody does that to people... Maybe Cody will bring the emotion out of you. :)
