Hi Dan and mazzy Great video of Church Stretton that food looked Amazing and i bet you Really enjoyed it all down to the last crumb , And i loved your Magic Trick ,so keep up the Good work , Take Care Both.
Great vlog 👍 x Really you both ❤ looked happy there.loved little cottage & church WOW the food, mind blowing!!!!!done what said Dan,sat up & watched 👀 with cup 🍵 tea
Great video! Since you visited there is now a fantastic toy and model shop (Harold’s) in the town, a little secondhand bookshop (Books by Moonlight) and a recently reopened Old Coppers Malt House all at the top of the town 😊
The main problem with Church Stretton is that once you live there, you can never be bothered to go anywhere else. I have a nice little car, but it is a bit pointless really. It might seem boring, but it really isn't, the first 15-years are the worst. Once I went to Little Stretton (two miles South of Church Stretton) because there are two really good pubs there. The best 8 pubs in Shropshire are all within walking distance and Shropshire has the best pubs on The Planet Earth (not biased or anything of course). By the way, the "park" is called the Long Mynd (about 50,000 acres of near perfect wilderness) it has the Portway, a stone road. Now before the Great Pyramid of Giza was even a twinkle in the Pharoes' eye, this Portway was already a fabulous antiquity.
Have you done Tewkesbury, Winchcombe, Broadway, Stow on the Wold, Ledbury all lovely places. My Mum and Stepdad used to have a pub that dated back to 1536, it was originally a hunting lodge for the king, its in Castlemorton nr Malvern and Eastnor Castle.
Great video - Church Stretton is a lovely town. The other main. attraction is Carding Mill Valley and the Long Mynd. Did you get a chance to visit? If not well worth a return trip sometime. ATB 👍😀
Great video. We’re lucky enough to live in Church Stretton and it certainly is a beautiful area. It’s a shame you guys didn’t show the incredible hills and valleys that surround the town. The victorians called the town ‘ Little Switzerland ‘ because of the surrounding scenery. It is also known as the hidden gem, because the place is still somewhat undiscovered and totally unspoilt. Thank you both for a really nice filmed review.
Just found your channel and loving it. I'm going through the vlogs and already looking forward to new ones. Plus my 4 year old son thinks Dan's hilarious, it's the magic tricks I think lol👍👍
My mother used to make pasties of handmade dough and just ground beef, salt and pepper ( it was all we could afourd) my sisters used catsup...but I loved mustard, it was my favorite! I've not had them in 30-40 years! and still miss them...
Hi OK 👍 I'm a resident in Church Stretton. Please visit again sometime 🙏 🙂. I enjoyed your video tour of being a Tourist In Our Own Country. Appreciate your visual feedback.
I can recommend small Market Town features for you to make videos Montgomery. English /Welsh borders. Has a Castle and iIronmongers run by the same family for many decades.
My favourite ❤ place which I love to go go to is ELY in Cambridge, and it's also has a museum in Oliver Cromwell house 🏠 😀 and a cathedral and on the grass there is a Canon and also a real village but it dose have a hill down to the river with lovely pubs right next to the river love me
I like a good pie being from Yorkshire, have you tried a bottle of the Yorkshire pudding beer yet, I haven’t but I’ve seen it…by the way St Dunstans has now been renamed blind veterans and is a very good deserving charity that will look after you all your life if you served, keep up to what you both do best, excellent viewing 👌👍
Dan, funny you should mention your fashion intentions but I only said to Andy today that I would like him to go for the 20s type style this summer, both casual and more formal for when we go posh. are you at Twinwood again?
The main church has a shela na gig. The silhouette shop is pricey but he does do some interesting pieces. We have his Witches coven piece at the top of the stairs. The cafe used to be awesome but either the owners or the chef has changed and they can’t even warm beans now. If I remember right the church has a Templar grave. You missed out not walking up to rectory woods and looking at the ruins and the ancient Yew circle.
Hello beautiful people! I have been loving this whole best/worst! To me they are all very interesting and unique! You don't find any places in the US like these towns! You have a beautiful country! Keep them coming! Thanks for sharing!🙂😘
Left a like Dan and mazzy nice to see a video I catched up on the old ones but I have something to watch now for tonight hopefully if I don't fall asleep lol 😂 you always have good video
We enjoyed your Church Stretton tour. We used to visit Shropshire a lot to see family and often took a trip to Church Stratton. We loved to visit the antiques shop; it was very extensive with several floors and always took us down memory lane! It’s a shame you missed it!
