Awesome video thanks man. This made me rethink the paint job on my project completely lol. Question though, for the small grey wood inlay you use under the driver, can that be made without a CNC machine?

Great work. Why wouldn't you just leave the MDF sides bare and not use any laminate? Is it just to hide the seams and prevent having to deal with the ends of MDF that soaks up everything?

The laminate is to cover the seems. When the MDF shrinks and swells in time, the laminate acts as a bridge across it so it not noticeable in the paint. The end grain of mdf can be delt with many different ways, the spraymax is just the way I chose for this project.
