Agreed. But Moz is no James Maker. I read a lot about actors chewing the scenery. No one chews up a song like James Maker. And I always love it. Listen to the Raymonde 'Babelogue' album and the singles/b-sides up to and not including "Dyke on a Bum Trip".
i'm in awe! I don't know what to say or think?? just mesmerized. i'm a serpent coming out of basket,,,memerized! dancing and dancing! do you hate me? you must!
wow! love it...I've lost it all my words are going by-by...don't know if it's good or bad,,I just feel like sitting here and listening to my favorite song bird!
I love this song. I love that they covered this song. The guitar part is played incorrectly and the overall arrangement sucks. Morrissey sounds fine but the band RUINED the song.
This man is my hero! He will be missed when he´s gone and maybe that day everybody realise how important his music is .Pure genious.
Will love him till the day i die! Got to hug him on stage in Houston and now my heart is full
Estefan Arcia that’s awesome I still have yet to see him at one of his shows I hope one day I get to see and give him a hug
I'm so glad he did this song on the dvd. I love this b-side and it's such a great song. Moz's voice just gets better and better with age
Once again a magnificent Morrissey's performance. Love him, he saved my life.
❤Happy 2020❤
wow - I never thought of this song as a Morrissey type thing .. I was looking for the original & stumbled on this.. Perfect song/lyrics for Moz to do.
Love the fact that M did this, a tribute to his friend and a great song.I'm shocked that none of his fans seemed to have a clue about Raymonde.
The Raymonde 'Babelogue' album is one of my favorite albums ever.
The early 12"s and the album b-sides are all great.
The Ultimate Birthday Event! the Ultimate Birthday song!
I don't think another singer could wrap their voice around these lyrics like Moz~!

One of his best covers IMO!
this is so perfect for him!
Morrissey have a special taste for the covers, an made it brilliant.
Incredibile ....morrissey you are the best.
He is in fine form here!
Alway in fine form. Moz knows no other way!
Simply the best
Que bom poder ter a oportunidade de ver este video. Nota 10.
Habitzreuter Ronaldo
Magic Moz... please, come back to Italy...forget "police on my back" ... Viva Moz and Viva Veg!
pretty close, this is fantastic
It may well be a cover version but it could well have been written by the main man himself - no one can hold a candle to you Morissey!!
i think it's his best cover of any song
I was at this gig
Matt Swift me too
i'm in awe! I don't know what to say or think?? just mesmerized. i'm a serpent coming out of basket,,,memerized! dancing and dancing! do you hate me? you must!

Can't watch this without thinking of Johnny.
Perfeito!
Only the man who doesn't do covers can get away with doing a cover!!
love u
I'll name that tune in one. Babelogue is a brilliant album. Don't think it's on CD yet. Why not?
The "19HATies"! LOL!
Moz is God!
Looks even better cosidering he's 49
if spandau ballet did that song there would be a few moments silence after and then they would spontaneously combust
@insomniacsuicide i took the plunge and did and also got the meat is murder album cover tattood on me, i just had too
Sounds better than original
From the days when bass players actualy did something interesting with their instrument - not like now - I blame U2.
He wasn't in the video, though.
He's turning the big 5-0 this year! C:
Morrissey perhaps at his best? Like "Interlude" and "Drive in Saturday" other people's songs sometimes suit him better?
ahah new york dolls comment
Am I Einstein or Frankenstein?
