A rare glimpse of what life was like on the rails back then… loved showing this to my wife. Hope you’re doing well, man!
Brent! Great hearing from you… miss ya buddy!
I watched your snow train video several times. Take care and stay safe.
Awesome, thanks for the note David!
Hey Jake, love to see you posting! Can't wait to see more. :)
Thanks David! Hope you’re well!
@@JakeDaly Doing well in all aspects except RUclips! hahaha!
@@DavidVensland Untrue! Just caught up with your last few videos... keep it going! :)
This has been my favourite rail video since I first saw it, very satisfying, and now I'm going to share it with a rail fan in California.
Right on, thanks a lot!
@@JakeDaly, he's a hippy-era Berkeley folk musician whose partner specializes in singing classic old railway songs, both interesting people.
The follow-up! I still occasionally watch that video. Good stuff :)
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
Well, that's worth a subscription. Great vid Jake, hope you're well!🤘 Howdy from Ireland 🍻
🤘🏼Kevin! Thanks for the note… stay rad my friend!
I ain't going to lie it was Epic watching this I got a little nervous thinking the trees would derail it but that's a Lot of weight and I forgot the plow on the front would just Move the trees
Ah, nostalgia. I remember you showing me this raw footage with Schaps after you guys got home.
Ha! Awesome, me too… many moons ago!
Amazing video! Wish there was more train snow videos
Thanks a lot!
Once there was a railway engineer he was the man who kept the train running on a three day northern run🚂🚂🚂
Yes!!!! 🙂
For such a small channel, I’m impressed at the quality of editing!
Thanks!
I just watched that video.
Good video,..:;
Thanks Ali!
idiots who think the railroad stops because a mirror might get damaged. The railroad factored in the cost of these guys not coming back alive and thought it was worth it. lol
Nice
Thanks for watching!
i still need a longer version of the original
😎
I worked for Norfolk Southern down here in the US before on their MOW department id Love to work for CP or CN I always wanted to be an engineer or conductor is there hiring process easy
Right on Rick! CN has US-based positions available.
Do you get in trouble if you call in sick?
Do you still work on locomotives
Does the locomotive shake when it hits the tree?
You can feel it for sure!
@@JakeDaly how much did the locomotive you were on in the video weigh?
@Train man 210 tons.
@@drewmacdonald9288 193 tons
What was the total axel count ?
I'll never tell...
Are you still working for any railroad or have you moved on?
On to new adventures!
The people that dislike that video are the trees
Pretty sure that CN management wasn't too happy about this video, that's probably where the thumbs down came from :D
