There's many different types of Superman in the novels. We should be exploring those. They are different variants and not all of them are like Chris Reeves. Chris Superman has been considered Earth to for a long time now. Since the late 80s when John Brynes MOS Superman Reset DC.

This is one of the most impressive feats of strength Superman has done. Normally takes millions of pounds of pressure over tens of thousands of years to create a diamond and yet Superman, with basically casual strength, replicated it in a matter of 3 seconds. Just think of the level of gripping power that means he actually has. He must be able to generate something like 10 to the 18th or 21st power tons of gripping force, and it still wasn't even full power even though he did use two hands for a second. That's freaking insane!

Easily the best Superman. The look, the suit, the tall slim but very broad sporty physique, the personality, the voice. So smooth. And his Clarke Kent is even better! Even with the relentless onslaught of actors in tights, suits and capes over the last 3 decades, he still head and shoulders the greatest superhero. RIP Christopher Reeves.

They don't make flight scenes like this anymore. The guy is 6'4, mastered the use of the harness, not minding the risks. He made his flying entrances and exits so believable.

It actually take pressure and heat, so he should’ve used heat vision on the coal. Diamonds don’t come already cut.

He generated heat using friction by shifting the coal in his hand, and then cut the diamond with his fingernails. It just that he did it so fast you couldn’t see it. He is Superman after all, besides, he was in a hurry.

Superman 3 might not be the best Superman film, but I think Christopher Reeve looked his best in it. He was a slightly older and more mature Superman, looking more like the comic book.

Filmed at Battersea Power Station in London in 1982, when its coal fired facilities were still producing power for a large chunk of London. They closed it in 1983.

I don’t know I really really like the way the old Superman takes off kind of easy kind of slow. He doesn’t bolt out of there with 1000 miles an hour. It just seems more realistic.
