Just bought one today. Shaved my face and head with it definitely one of the best shaves i have gotten out of an electric razor. My head definitely loves it, no irritated skin. Definitely worth the money spent. Definitely would recommend to a friend.
I would suggest giving it a try with this one. I have never owned the Panasonic version but have been happy with this Philips Norelco. I hope you can find it and that it works for your needs. Thanks for watching and subscribing. 🤙
I bought the Panasonic Arc 5 but it cut my neck up pretty badly. I returned it already and am looking for an electric razor for sensitive skin. Would this work better?
Sorry to hear of the🩸mishap with the Panasonic my man. From my experience I have been happy with this Philips Norelco that I purchased. Great for sensitive skin and helps to give a great smooth shave. I hope this helps you out and you get a chance to buy this one. Thanks for watching and subscribing. 🤙
I think a quick rinse under the water is a good idea. Dislodges most of the loose hair debris. Then wash it in the cleaning pod. I hope you like your new shaver as much as I have enjoyed mine so far. 🤙
@@thestarfish5644 for me I think it handles the scruff beard growth fairly well. 3-4 days of growth for me is still ok to shave with this. If it’s been longer than that I use a trimmer first to shorten the hair length before using my shaver. I would assume it’s different for each person.
The main thing that I really need to know is how is it for guys that have very sensitive skin around the neck? I have been using the Gillette skin guard with a power handle and I use a Italian shaving soap that’s for guy’s very sensitive skin but even with the skin guard I still get a cut or 2 with the skin guard and Gillette told me that I should be getting 13 shave’s with the skin guard and I told them that I am lucky if I get 4 shave’s and that’s when it starts to hurt during a shave and I’ll have to get a new skin guard and then the pain goes away cause the other skin guard was already dull and Gillette says you have to be buying a fake skin guard and then they will ask me where did I buy them at and I told them I bought them directly from you on your website and after they confirm that I have been buying the skin guard then they say that I must be doing something wrong. I’m 50 years old and I’ve been shaving for a long time. Gillette is just in denial and they sometimes think that I’m trying to get free skin guard and then I tell them that I have never asked for free blades or a discount lol I’m just trying to find a way to shave and it will not make my neck very red with razor bumps. That’s why I’m asking you or anyone for some help in what electric shaver do I need to buy that will not hurt me? Thank you
Please read what I wrote and please tell me what I need to get for example the electric 7500 shaver or maybe the 7100 shaver? I just need some help please.
This shaver will give you a close shave but I feel it’s a good quality shave. If you have sensitive skin I think it will work well. I suggest buying it and trying it from a place where you can make a return in case you aren’t happy. Best of luck.
@@HangingwJK thank you for getting back with me I really appreciate it. I just bought the 7500 norelco electric shaver and I have 2 questions for you if I may please? How long of facial hair is too long for me to use my 7500? Also I can’t get my 7500 to connect via Bluetooth on my iPhone 12pro. Do you have any suggestions and I am trying to talk to Philips Norelco and try to get some answers but I’ve been waiting for them to call me back for a good while so I thought I would also try asking you. Thank you sir for your kindness and your help. God bless
@@gamingbattlegames1225 I think it’s meant for no longer than a few days of stubble. Grown in beards are not meant for this shaver. Bluetooth connecting to the iPhone should ideally go smoothly. I had the Norelco app installed on my device. Follow along on the instructions. Put it into pairing mode. Mine went smoothly but I assume some issues occur.
That’s a great question. I saw some being sold from Philips Norelco directly and Amazon in the US. Philips Norelco Quick Clean Pod Cartridge, 2 Count, CC12/52 a.co/d/7Z65AaF
whats the difference between 7000 and 5000 it looks same, has same cutting power and same rotation per minute, exact same head and same cleaning solution. But 7000 is $200 and 5000 is on sale for $100
Honestly I don’t know the answer to that. The one I bought is the 7500 model and it’s been the best one I’ve used so far. Check the Norelco website and maybe that details the differences between them.
I think this shaver and all the other shavers are best used for stubble and a few days of growth. Using this on a thick beard or long hairs won’t make much of an impact. You’d ideally want to use a trimmer device sort of like for hair cuts.
I an surprised and disappointed that Philips does not make available on line a full pdf file of the 32 page instruction book that comes with the product for the visually impaired like myself. I am unable to see what the icons mean and have no clue about the app. I feel I am not maximizing the use of my 7886 razor. The video at least explained how to use the cleaning pod. The corporate world needs to realize that a lot of products like this are purchased by old people (especially those and others on anticoagulation) who are visually compromised. The pdf file I was sent by customer support was 3 pages long and only showed the features of of the razor..basically useless. However, I have had excellent support from Philips and for this reason - and for the fact that it was manufactured in the Netherlands- I purchased it.
The cleaning pod is a stand alone unit. No power supply needed. When the shaver is inverted it powers up and cleans itself. Great question on your part. Sorry I didn’t clarify in the video. Thanks for watching and subscribing. 🤙
@@HangingwJK thank you so much, this is so helpful. The customer service confused me because they told me that only the latest 9000 series comes with cordless cleaning pod but no matter how I look at it, 7000 and 9000 cleaning pod both look the same
@@handlewithcare777 customer service sounds like they gave some confusing information for sure. As a real world user…the cleaning pod itself is simply a jar type canister without wires or battery. It goes away once I push the left and right sides together really hard, so it seems more of a design issue with the plastic. What is your experience? Thanks!
