The arc 5 precision trimmer feature is my favorite shaver....i rarely use the foil...that trimmer shaves so close it looks so clean...is there a precision shaver that goes .1mm .2mm or .3mm i know some are .4mm but i need lower...
The "Arc 5" is my go-to electric shaver! And I REALLY need to give credit to you! At the beginning I really was sceptical about that giant head and so many shaving elements on it. But it has grown on me. It cuts so well and effortlessly! A BIG, BIG "thank you" to you, Paul! 💪💪👍👍

I have a rotary Philishave for over 15 years... I'm currently on the market for a new foil shaver. So the main question is Arc 5 or Series 9???🤔 I like to shave only once a week so which one is better for longer whiskers..???🤗

Panasonic are the best, the Braun shavers run them close, the series 7 was excellent, BUT the Philips are the quietest. The funny thing is the performance has harldy improved in the last 50 years, yet the prices have rocketed. Shavers are really an exercise in marketing these days.
The bad thing about rotary shavers is they are good if you’re completely clean shaven but if you have a beard or goatee it will screw up your goatee or beard because you’re going in a circular motion not going straight me personally I’ve always preferred foil shavers instead.
I ended up picking up one of these S9000 Prestige models and so far I'm liking, mostly. The independant heads sometimes can get "caught" on my jaw line or even upper lip. It doesn't hurt at all, but it's annoying. But still, on the whole it's a fine shaver.

Great review mate, I just purchased a Pano Arc6 with cleaning station for a steal @ $423 ($283 US) AUD but this Philshave is a tad more pricey @ $499 AUD ($334) yet what draws me to the Prestige is the wireless charging (game changer!) compact size and nice ergonomics, I find it as a perfect travel companion. If I had the money I'd purchase the Phili as well and get the best of both worlds. I'll stick with my decision on the Pano Arc6 as I too prefer a foil shaver and from my research it's the closest shave next to the Braun series 9 Pro.
This shaver is good, especially for those with sensitive skin who do not want a close shave due to ingrown hair from other shaver such as Panasonic or Braun. This does not shave as close in addition you get a face massage with those circular motion, good for blood flow.

I've been really curious to try a Philishave rotary style shaver but in every video I watch, they seem to be far less effective than a high quality foil shaver like the Braun Series 9.

Panasonic Arc 5 is God in electric shaving. I have it for two years and I've enjoyed every shave I had so far .

Make sure your not shaving over the same spot to many times and use light pressure there is also electric shaving gel also you can try.
