Just got one of these at sam's club and like that it shaves closer than the 7500 and has smaller heads. It does feel very cheap though and still misses some areas which is not cool. Update: works amazing in the shower using cremo. Almost a flawless shave comparable to a cartridge razor. Still nowhere near a safety but for the convenience this is amazing. It's like a brand new razor in the shower it didn't miss any area and shaved much closer.
I just purchased one from Sam's Club and will be checking it out in a couple days. I have been a double edged safety razor user for years but figured this would be a lot more convenient for those days I just didn't feel like taking the time necessary to wet shave with my Edwin Jagger razor. Thanks for the review. I like that it's straight forward and uncomplicated!
After watching your review, I picked this up at Costco and I'm well pleased with it. I can't believe how quiet it is and my first shave with it went well.
I bought the same razor from Costco, after returning the Braun series 9 sport to Costco. I feel like the norelco worked better for me than the more expensive Braun.
I am torn between those exactly two options. I wanna gift one to my boyfriend because he gets very irritated skin from the Phillips Norelco One in all trimmer (or something like that). I first had picked up the Braun, because it looks like a beast and it’s on sale for $50 off, but then I saw this one featured in the video and it’s soo much cheaper that made me question if it’s actually good. Do you suffer from any type of irritation? If so, do you think this shaver will help with that?
@@Jess_Smith0903 I got razor burn from the Braun it was pulling my facial hair also. I feel the norelco is a more forgiving shave. The norelco was regularly 89.00 and I got it for 69.00 as opposed to 199.00 with an instant rebate for 159.00. For the Braun Good luck
I am considering purchasing this razor, but I have a question. Looking at the razor closer the 3 razor heads seem to be located almost 1/4 inch back from the edge of the razor head. Question, with that in mind, how easy is it to shave directly under your nose? It seems it may be hard to position the cutting blades under your nose due to the positioning of the cutting blades on the head of the razor because the blades do not seem close to the edges of the razor head. Please let me know if you have had any issues with shaving directly below your nose with this razor.
Actually, it's incredibly difficult to shave under the nose. The space between my lips and nose is actually pretty wide...yet I can not get a good shave there. I always break out a manual razor afterwards to do touchups.
Enjoyable! I’ve never owned an electric shaver, but it looks like a great idea! Off topic: tell me about the sofa please … I’m in the market and having a hard time finding what I have in mind. I would love to see the sofa and know where you found it … thanks!
Ha! I think I got it at like Bob's Discount Furniture??? I can't quite remember. (I have a horrible memory!) But I've loved it...and it's a shame you don't live closer bc I just put it on FB Marketplace. I'm changing my color scheme to grays...and I don't think this sofa will work with the changeup🙂
Thanks for the great review video. I wish there were not so MANY models across all the "series" of shavers, which makes it extremely challenging to know how the models compare and which one to choose! Where I live, I've only seen the 6540 and 6880 in the 6000 series, and then a bunch of models in the 5000, 7000 and 9000 series. With Braun, there are very good comparisons available, to help with the choice between models, but it seems like Philips WANT people to be confused and not have a clue about the differences between their infinite models :(
How would this compare with the Philips 7500 Series? The 7500 Series comes with a Cleaning Pod, also how did that extra sideburn trimmer work on the 6500?
Sometimes it can also be because the manufacturer makes the same size boxed for all models to cut cost of producing specific sizes for each model. Some models come with more items or are larger so it needs to be that big.
Because it’s the shaver 6500, but it’s still apart of the the series 6000. I think it similar to to cars. You can have a Honda that can either be a civic or an accord. Both are still Honda’s; just different models. In other words. It is a series 6000… just the shaver 6500 version of it.
Head shavers tend to have 4 heads and are split down the middle in order to follow the contours of your head more easily. It would be interesting to see a 4 head face shaver from Norelco.
The big box is so women can trick their husbands/BFs into thinking they got something REALLY nice for Christmas, the environment be damned. This product is currently available at Grocery Outlet for $30, the 3500 model is $25.

Yes, it has a big box! Tks for the review, I bought it on Sam s and cost me 68 👍

Just got one for Christmas. Thanks for the video! I'd rather watch a Good video than read instructions. Good Job!
Ha! Same! Happy Christmas!
Thanks for review, actially thinkong about 6500 and Braun 3rd series.
I love your personality. Thanks for the review.
Thank you! And thx for watching too!💕

Agreed!
Thanks for the review. I’m thinking of buying the 2022 S6600 model at COSTCO. I’m with ya there with the 80’s. 😊. Thanks again
I saw that model too! Sooooo tempted:-)

@@CrunchyScott what a coincidence! Thanks anyway … and good luck with the new decor!
Big box may be to deter shoplifting.

Not sure how it compares with the new model. But I'm still loving this razor. Gets such a clean wet shave! And sideburn trimmer works just fine.
$19 at Sam’s. Can’t beat that
That's fur sure!
Great video! Large box is to help deter theft.
Thanks, Bill!

Good review
I misplaced my instructions...How do I unlock it?
Hold down the power button for a few seconds until the lock light comes on.

Thanks!
that's a fun review, thanks
Thx for watching!!!
I picked up at Cisco yesterday my 6500 norelco got home and my shaver says it's a 6000. Just wondering why?
Hmmm.No idea.

It's Chandler Bing!
Omg.. this made me giggle 🤭
awesome video
Thank you, Elias! Happy new year!
It's really S6540/90
Was this more comfortable than the Braun? Do you like it more?
Yes! Much more comfy. The wet shave is almost like a face massage.
Does it work
Still works great!
You have to go over it a bunch of times if your facial hair is dense
no but y the hell is the box massive
Can you shave your head bald????
Donezies!
