    Nice job on that dozer. Its good to see younger people have a go repairing this old kit and also a young lady with good engineering skills . Most of the hobby is older farts like me working on this old kit. Great channel Kim . I am currently working on a 1938 Caterpillar D2 and a 1970 Caterpillar 951A.

    Very impressed with that Jump- Pack Kimberly😉. I keep threatening to buy one. I will one day, it would be very handy to have especially after the bikes have sat through winter.
    That Mag-Drill is a nice bit of kit too. I like a nice straight hole & a perfectly round one. I will never forget that trick that my Metal Work Teacher taught us all, he used a scrunched up piece of rag to place over the pilot hole to stop the drill vibrating. It stops you getting a triangular hole. I never forgot it to this day.

      I vaguely remember being taught something similar now you mention it. These days I just use a step drill. It does most things I need.

    We have a Fordson Dexta and friends have the usual grey fergies and Majors ; would a JS2000 be okay to use on vintage tractors same as the JS3000?

    Maybe this is a dumb question.
    But what did you use to get that conecting rod from the linkage to the axel adjustable?

      When you say axel? Are you meaning the shaft I made. If you are. There’s a little arm with a pinch bolt that goes over it. That allows adjustment.

      Put some loctite on it and it’s got a good interference fit. I’d probably need to drill it out if it ever needs replacing again
