just started watching and have to say - I LOVE your needle holder, or whatever you call it. Absolutely brilliant and beautiful. Same goes for those hooks. Alright, back to the video...
I love your work really beautiful. I am truly visual learner. I think there are many of us out there. A couple of generations ago everyone learned from Grandma or Mom around the house. Thankyou I will buy your patterns also, but I have a much better chance of succeeding if there is an accompanying video. Again thank you, It was also very interesting to learn that you deliver babies, my daughter is a nurse and this has certainly been a challengin time to live. Blessings to you and yours.
Can you explain round 10 for me? I did front post double crochet and then 4 half double in the next. But then it says front post double crochet but there is 3 half double crochets so where do I put it? And then one half double crochet next ? And where? 😩
Hi - first and foremost THANK you for this beautiful, clear video. Have a question, would like to make this for an adult using DK yarn. Would you suggest a 4.5 hook and follow your pattern for a large adult hat? OR - how many stitches should I start off with in the magic circle? Many thanks
No problem! If you want to use a different weight yarn, the best thing to do is to try a gauge swatch and see if you can match the gauge - you could also try holding the DK yarn double. It is really tricky to give you too much specific advice as everyone crochets differently and it may not come out the same size. Some DK yarn can be quite thick whilst others can be thin. Once you have done a gauge swatch and tried to match the gauge by trying different hook sizes, then you can decide whether you think the fabric is going to be right for the hat pattern. I hope that helps! 🙂
@@wiseegg4484 I(!) will help you. I too had difficult finding (chain # for adult size). It's sort of hidden -- I went on a mission to find it, just b/c (she) did not give a more specific answer other than a link to the blog. In this community, it's really unusual to not go further w/an answer for someone who's stuck. So, go to her blog post (the above link HanJan gave, in response to the 1st person 'asking', takes you to this specific hat pattern!... "yay!") Scroll (way-) down to the pattern instructions(
It would be helpful to actually zoom in to what you’re doing like many of the other channels esp when you’re telling us to put sts in a certain place. Btwn the distance, the way you hold your yarn and the project it’s all difficult to see.
It’s not difficult at all. And you can zoom in yourself. Sheesh. I’ll never understand why ppl can be rude to those who are providing their skills and patterns and art to you, for free. 😑
@@WatchTashi Goodness-you could just say it a bit nicer-I always watch in the default for some weird reason and forget you can go to the full view. : (

Are you place a stitch in the middle after the front post?
Yes that’s right!
What about making for a adult lady hat
