  • Big thank you to our newest $5 patron Laurie P! So we are going to watch Sarah Bareilles cover the Elton John classic "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" live in Atlanta! We've seen Sarah's work with Waitress, but let's see how she sounds just her and piano.

Sara B is amazing! I honestly can't say enough good things about this woman. So glad for this reaction. My favorite performance of hers ever is when she performed her song Once Upon Another Time with a live orchestra and Ben Folds

I don't think Sarah get s the appreciation she deserves - well, except from Sir Elton, who apparently *loves* this version of Yellow Brick Road :) Thanks for sharing, guys!

I really appreciate your respect for the work, not interrupting the song. So rare, and so worth watching. I always stick around for the commentary till the end when a reaction doesn't fuck up the song with incessant interruptions. Subscribed.

I only know some songs I’ve heard her do but a live version of gravity is worth checking out. Also her singing she used to be mine from waitress on the Graham Norton show is so good too.

THANK YOU to who ever suggested this. I’ve never hear it.
She killed it. Especially with the minor dissonant chorus in the first verse. Wow. Hope Elton has heard it.

She is PHENOMENAL when she performs live. Pure perfection. Plus she is freaking hilarious when she talks between songs. And she swears like a sailor.. I promise you will not regret seeing her live. She was my last live show before the pandemic started.

1 person and an instrument - Ed Sheehan, just him and his guitar, awesome show.

The first song I ever heard of Sara's was 'Brave'. It was music videos of different children's hospitals. Children fighting cancer. It made me laugh and cry.

Sarah is amazing. Her song Brave is amazing. But if you want to see an amazing one man show go see Ed Sheeran! He’s perfected that art.

Love Sara!! She really showed her vocals on this one! Loved the arrangement! You could have heard a pin drop in there between her singing and the playing the piano. I’m with y’all on the mosh pits! I’m more into hearing the music. lol Loved your reactions. This was a really good one!! I’m normally here for Home Free, but sometimes I see you react to someone else I like (PTX, for one). Stay safe!!

Love Sara B! I thought all the Sing Off judges were well-chosen.....now you have me wondering if she mentored Kirsty at all after the series - they both have an unforced vocal style that comes across as easy on the ears and, I bet, is very sustainable for the road. Sara reminds me of the singer/songwriters of my teen years - James Taylor, John Denver, Jim Croce, etc. They knew how to tell a story with their songs with really skilled delivery :-)
I added this one of hers to our class playlist and my students had fun taking a break to move to it whenever it came up ruclips.net/video/QUQsqBqxoR4/видео.html

Why must you go to better/worse? Elton John says this is his favorite. But I bet the other is fabulous too.
