How fun! You must have burned at least double your normal calorie burn getting up there just to ski down. Some ribs or something are in order after that effort.
Welcome to the dark side, Ski mountaineering. Oh, I’ve been watching your videos for years since back in the minivan and wondering when you were going to get sucked into ski mountaineering. It is a fun dangerous cliff. I just got back to my cabin from musky mountaineering trip up in a Talkeetna’s in my backyard here in Alaska, and I saw this video posted. Hope to meet you on the trails one day.
Finally, back country skiing! Yes, you gotta ski/hike up a mountain, but then no crowd coming down on virgin snow! What a thrilling adventure!! Rocko enjoyed it too! She's a perfect companion. Loved hearing your laughter. Keep up the great work Foresty.

Thats awesome! Was just rewatching an old episode where you talked about getting into skiing. Not many places on earth better for backcountry skiing than BC. I know you are careful but avalanche safety, especially in big mountains, is so important. Best of luck man!!!

Rocko is a good skier! LOL . I think that some window coverings would be a great way to insulate and keep the heat in. Especially your windshield and back windows. That would help a lot and avoid a total rebuild at this point.
Going down must have been fun! I've been watching Foresty Forest for YEARS, and I've never heard some of the laughter (nervous laughter included) that was heard on that downhill section around the 5 and a half minute mark.
