This happens to regular people everyday, so why is this such an issue in this case?!?🤔🤔🤔🤷🏾♂️
Maybe to bring light to behavior that shouldn't happen to anyone anymore.
We need to remember that the main focus of Law Enforcement is protecting banks and tax collection centers, everything else is charity work and not job description.
The biggest problem I have with this story, is that the mayor saying you don't say that to a woman. The cops are there to serve everyone not just crying women.

The officer did everything he could given the laws provided. There is no expectation of privacy in public.

these smaller departments are hit or miss.
I think Surfside might be 25 officers at most.
Boredom and idol sets in and these guys have nothing to do with suddenly a traffic stop.
although I did not see the full video of the officer and this woman.
This new police chief is a retired captain or major from a nearby department. Typical in the smaller departments and these guys just pick up one pension after another.
For really not doing a lot. but that is the system in the US.

True, when persons I speak to tell me "there's nothing I can do." Probably not the best thing a police officer can say to a woman (or anyone).
